Story:
When Lilas meets Gairn, owner of the local bakery and tea shop, sparks of attraction shine brighter than the twinkle lights that are about to adorn the large Christmas tree in the Scottish Highlands village square.
But Lilas is only there temporarily until the New Year to work on finishing her latest collection of textile art for a home decor company. With a deadline to meet, she has no plans for romance even though everyone is getting ready for the local laird’s Christmas wedding to Eevie. Broden’s recent proposal to Eevie is only one of the romances in the snowy air. Iona has started planning her spring wedding to Kier the wealthy flower grower. And Dairsie from Knitting Cottage is now dating Ruari the owner of a nearby estate.
As the ladies of Jinette’s quilt shop sewing bee help to make Eevie’s wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses, Lilas’ expertise in couture fashion is a welcome addition to the bee.
With Christmas fast approaching, and romance and excitement in the air as well as the promise of snow, will Lilas enjoy more than a friends only Christmas fling with Gairn in the Scottish Highlands, or will she finally settle down where she truly belongs and make a life for herself with the handsome baker?
