This is a crazy and amazing story.
Loved it.
And, of course, with a lot of triggers...



Reap3r and Layla are great characters.
It's a 271 pages book, and have a lot of time between the scenes, so we can have the whole picture.
It's well-structured and, even the secondary characters are so interesting, that we want more.
I want more!
I want to know more about Crew and Penelope and their madness.
Kage (what's his problem) and Mabel.
Chase and Vanessa.
Liam and Mia.



Row made a hell of a job with this book, and opened room for more, at least, four books.
Though I want more of Grimm (with two mm's) and Layla, but I think we can have more of them within the four stories I'm wishing to come...

So disappointing. I was so excited for a captive romance book like the blurb suggested but this was just another book where the girl willingly gets taken. I loved the book and it was 5 stars up until she becomes pathetic. What kind of self respecting women stays friends with the girl her boyfriend cheated on her with. Even if she is no longer in love with him the fact she forgave the backstabbing girl and was still friends with her made me lose all respect for her. Then on top of that he never makes a move or kidnaps her he just finally tells her who he is at a party that is it. So very disappointed. It barely made 2 stars and that is because the first part of the book was so good but the last part was so bad took it to 2

When I tell y’all I DEVOURED this book. Holy fvck, I loved it so much. The tropes, the Corpse Husband vibes, the spice, and the sheer amount of tabs…I literally couldn’t stop reading. I LOVED the over the top MMC and the gamer boy/e-girl MC’s. One thing about me… I’m OBSESSED with Corpse and this MMC was 100% him, like everything about him screamed Corpse and I was 🫠🫠🫠 the whole time. This book was unlike anything I’ve read thus far, and I need MORE. I wish this book was longer because there was so much more I wanted to experience with them, but what we were given was SO. BINGEABLE. Anyways, I now identify as Reap3r’s Girl for the foreseeable future, if you need me, I’ll be fantasizing about Grimm & Corpse. If any of the above & below appeals to you, just do it. This is such a good bingeable novella. 🫡💖

I really enjoyed this book, I’ve read a few similar ones lately and this is probably my favourite one so far. I loved the premise and the writing style. The smut was amazing for what we got of it I just would have liked to have seen more or more scenes of them as a couple. I also didn’t agree with a lot of the fmc decisions in who her friends where, You’ll know when you read it and it really bugged me. I loved the secondary characters and can’t wait to read about them!

This was basically a Corpse fanfic and had a lot of potential, however the plot and writing was a little off the mark for me.

The book was very chaotic and had some good tropes (mentioned below), but unfortunately was just not very well pulled off in the end, though there were still definitely aspects I enjoyed.

This was such a quick read and I liked it. I loved the premise and the writing style. The smut was amazing, I would have loved more scenes of them together though. I really liked Layla until her boyfriend cheats on her and she literally isn’t even upset.. like girl come on. Yes it may be because she’s actually having feelings for reaper -however she does say over and over she actually loves Liam. Someone you love cheats on you and you don’t care, that would never happen. Anyways, Halloween vibes- definitely a fun and quick Fall book. 🎃

I was really excited to read this book and I was not disappointed. Reaper used to be in a band and now is a pretty popular online streamer. He has had a loyal fan who has become a good friend over the last few years but she doesn’t know what he looks like because he wears a mask. While she may see him as a friend and have a boyfriend, Reaper is confident that she will eventually be his. Layla is a spunky egirl that has been with her boyfriend for a really long time. She loves him and he is ok with her having a guy best friend online. Things get very interesting when Reaper ends up being roommates with Laylas boyfriend. Lines get crossed and feeling change over time. Eventually the timing is right for Reaper to show Layla his true identity but will she want more than friendship with him? This was a fun read that had me wondering how things were going to turn out. I also really enjoyed some of the side characters. Layla is kind of a mess but a super cute one. She is comfortable in her relationship but maybe too comfortable. When things get messy she has a hard time knowing what to do. Eventually she is clear on what and who she wants. Reaper is silent and broody but so sexy. He has a deep voice and dark taste. His feeling for Layla are intense and he is not afraid to cross boundaries to get what he feels is his. This book has fun fall vibes and includes a very wild Halloween birthday party. It would be a great spooky season read if you are into a twisty story with lots of drama, cheating, somno, leash play, and great spice.

I'VE READ A COUPLE OTHER BOOKS RECENTLY WITH A SIMILAR STORYLINE BUT I THINK THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE SO FAR. IT'S THE MASK AND VOICE KINK THAT DOES IT FOR ME 🤷🏽‍♀️ AND I LOVE THAT THE FMC WAS A CURVY GIRL. ALTHOUGH I DIDN'T REALLY AGREE WITH SOME OF THE DECISIONS SHE MADE WITH HER FRIENDS. OVERALL I REALLY LOVED THIS ONE AND WOULD LOVE TO READ MORE ABOUT REAP3R/GRIMM & LAYLA AND ALSO THE SIDE COUPLES TOO.

I really enjoyed this book! I love plus size representation in spooky sort of books. I totally felt connected with Layla in our similar vibes but I haven’t fully dipped into the look she does yet, so it made me have a touch of what I like. I really loved the two main characters together. They’re so different and adorably hot. Some things threw me off but then I was like WHEWWWW OKAYYY. I loved all the vibes of this book. I wish it was longer tbh but I fell in love with the characters.
My one little issue I had was with two side characters being sort of related. Like I don’t mind they’re together cause they aren’t truly related but like them leaning into their actual relation status names kinda made me uncomfy. But I’m used to a lot of kinks. But seemed a bit much at times but I don’t know their story yet.
My other thing was idk I didn’t like how her friend kissed her boyf/ex and she kinda brushed it off. But I know that’s just how their personalities are but I have been in cheating situations and it kinda struck me in a way. But I know Layla did stuff with Reap3r but felt way worse than I think the others did idk. But overall I loved the story. I can’t wait to read the rest when they come out. I am curious about V and Chase cause soooo cute ahdhahaha.

This was sitting on my TBR list for a good long while. To the point I forgot about it. And tbh... how dare I?? As a girlie who, amongst others, is obsessed with delicious masked men, I should have given Grimm (two mm's) my attention a lot sooner.

The slow burn was barely noticeable. I mean, things happen (check TW's btw), but waiting for them to really get together?? I didn't realise I was getting the the end of the book by the time things finally clicked into perfect position. Was just so locked into the tension. Wondering if she'll see who is right under her nose. Waiting for himto lose control and reveal everything. I was on the edge of my seat, a very impatient bystander hoping for fireworks. And I was not disappointed.

Really curious about Grimm's friend's and their love stories... wouldn't mind reading about them either. I know they obviously get their happily ever after, but the roller-coaster they all must've gone through must be thrilling!!

This was a fun dark romance. I read it more as a palate cleanser because it really wasn’t too dark at all. I definitely think it was a little light on the spice for an erotic dark romance book (only one somno scene and like 2 other smutty scenes with mild bondage and period play at the end of the book). I probably would have at least enjoyed a bit more time in the teasing/mystery phase but I was happy with the romance. This book read like the third book in an interconnected standalone series involving crew and kage in the first two books but it turns out that this was the first and only book with these characters which seemed a shame because I think their stories sounded even more interesting. Maybe K. B. Row will write their stories in the future and I would probably read them but, as for this book, the fact that the other couples were more interesting made me less excited for this story. Overall, it’s an okay quick read and I might read more from the author, but this book specifically was a bit of a letdown and not a standout for the masked men romance genre.

😏😏 this was a pretty good read, i enjoyed reading how layla’s and grimm’s relationship developed and how they were after they got together. The writing styles was pretty good and the plot was entertaining! The smut was really good, it was detailed and smouldering 🫦 i love period sex. Thats it. But crew’s and penelope’s relationship confuses me and makes me curious at the same time, ig we’re gonna find out when their book come out 😋. I just wish we got to see more of both layla and grimm after they got together bc most of the boom was about them before and we got a little snippet of them actually together but i still enjoyed this book 😋😋

FINALLY a popular TT/IG book worth the hype! 😩

This book speaks for itself. It’s inspired by Corpse Husband. Which, who isn’t obsessed with his voice?! Secondly, this is the perfect romance between an e-girl and gamer boy. It’s dark. It’s dirty. It’s deliciously slow burning and has banter around every corner. FMC is the epitome of the plus-sized, curvy girl sex icon (we Stan diversity in our book girlies). MMC is that emo, bad boy you secretly had a crush on in high school/college. The perfect spicy, quick read. I promise if you love dark romance, you will not be disappointed!🎮🖤💀💖

surprising and exciting

I thought this one was going to be a bit more brutal judging by the description but I am actually rather happy that it wasn’t. It’s a cute story, with a touch of darkness, and sometime you really do wanna slap the crap out of the FMC (bc surely she’s blind) but overall I liked it and if you’re looking for something a little bit dark/risqué this might be just the ticket. Definitely recommend. (Plus who doesn’t love a book titled Reaper? I mean, come on! <3 ) I’m also kind of curious if the friends/other couples are going to get their own books/origin stories in the future, bc I’d be down to read those for sure.

Okay, this one was interesting and not really what I was expecting, but I really enjoyed it! Grim and Layla are not my typical favorite character types, but I really enjoyed their story and getting to see a different perspective and unique characters! I do wish we got more of Kage and Mabel's story, so I am wondering if that book is floating out there somewhere and I am just now aware of its existence. I saw that there is a short story for Crew and Pen, so I will definitely be checking that out, even though they were kind of crazy and not my ideal couple...I am interested to get inside their heads.

The one moment was really angry with the FMC, because of her decisions were just so blasé in, and clearly the wrong decision

So this wasn't dark but it dealt with some icky things. I didn't put it on my ick shelf because it was side characters and didn't go into great detail. This book reads like corpse fanfiction and the author states she has a big thing for corpse and you know good on her. I think it was fairly basic plot wise but it was an entertaining and quick read. I liked the idea of Layla knowing Grimm and Reaper as two separate people. It was a decent pallet cleanser

First this book was 🔥🥵 I really enjoyed Layla and Grimm / reaper story. It was fun spicy and entertaining to read. I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick easy read with dark romance of a masked gamer and his friends with their girls. Fun read and would definitely recommend giving it a read!
