COMING JANUARY 20, 2023!

They built an empire on lies and deceit.
I was here to burn it down.

They called it Judgment Day—as though they were gods among men.
It was their reason for taking her.
It was their motive for punishing me.

After spending five years in prison for a crime I didn't commit, I walked out a monster disguised as a gentleman.

It's time to take back what's mine, including her.
She thinks she's in love with someone else—and maybe she is.
So, I'll share her with him.
But only for a while.
I'll be her hero... and her villain.

In a world of secrets and sacrifice, someone is bound to lose. A day of judgment is coming. This time it will be me they bow down to.

This is an MFM (not MMF) romance with an HEA.

*Judgment Day is book four of an ongoing, interconnected series. It is highly recommended you read books 1-3 first. The Obsidian Brotherhood is a dark romance series revolving around a secret society. Please check triggers.*

From now on, OMG will stand for Oh My Grey! This book was nothing like I expected it to be and absolutely everything that I needed. I am still reeling from all the plot twists. I know it’s only January, but I know this will be one of my favorites of the entire year. Judgment Day is the fourth and final book in the Obsidian Brotherhood series.

The reckoning has arrived. Grey, Caspian, Lincoln, and Chandler will finally eradicate the corruption within the brotherhood and try to restore it to its former glory. Grey is arguably the most anticipated character in the series and my absolute favorite (although Caspian is a close second). As a teenager, he fell in love with Sadie, but the brotherhood kept them apart and married her to the King of Ayelswick. For years, Grey was fueled by revenge and the desire to finally claim Sadie. The time to act is finally here!

I can not emphasize how much this book surprised me! I highly recommend going in completely blind. Slightly before the halfway mark, the plot takes a shocking twist, and I was absolutely along for the ride. Nothing is what it seems and it is hard to determine who can be trusted. While all the other books in the series are MF, this one is MFM. The spice is top tier, and starts almost immediately. I especially loved the scenes where all three of them are together.

In addition to the shocking plot twists, the book is written beautifully. The author uses gorgeous imagery to describe the characters and their relationship. She writes, “The waves traveled their whole lives searching for the shore, believing that was where it ended for them – the perfect collision of water and sand. They never realized that the whole time they’d been guided by the moon.” Seriously??? How freaking gorgeous is that???

You all need to read this series! Obsidian Brotherhood is easily one of my favorite dark romance series of all time. You should read them in order (Mischief Night, Hallowed Eve, Darkest Hour, and finally Judgment Day), and they are all available on KU.

I can’t wait to see what this author releases next!

It’s cliché, but expect the unexpected.

Featuring the character we’ve all had a lady boner for since his first appearance, Grey’s enigmatic and harsh demeanor is explained in the final, and most anticipated book in the series, Judgment Day.

The new generation of the Obsidian Brotherhood is putting the final pieces in place to eliminate the antiquated and chauvinistic traditions of the secret society. This includes Grey exacting revenge on the King of Ayelswick who was gifted his first love, Sadie.

I love walking on the dark side. I Love the smuttiest smut. But even more than that, I FLOVE when I can’t unravel the plot. With masterful storytelling and heartfelt depictions, Delaney will take you on one final emotional journey with the Brotherhood with twists and turns you can’t even begin to imagine.

Finally, we get Grey and his story. It was a wild ride that's for sure. I fell for him hard and wanted all the goodness in the world set in the palm of his hands. He deserved it. He demanded it.
He was a saint, a silent knight in a world of darkness and vile men.

This book was a complete shocker to me, if I can be completely truthful. I must have been pretty oblivious while reading this series and then computing that his story would veer down that particular road. I mean I get it, but I didn't think it would be the more the merrier. Every one of these leading men have been possessive as all hell. Love can make you do some out of the norm things.

Did I love him wholeheartedly... Yes.
Do I feel like his love was a bit wasted? Also yes.
Do I wish I hadn't read Grey's story? HELL NO!!
It was worth it. He was worth it.

Days later and I am still churning this book over in my mind.

What a great finish to this series 🤩.

Grey was such an enigma in the previous books, but this book took a turn that I absolutely did not see coming … and it was so, so good.

I am in awe. I have been a fan of this series for as long as book 1 came out, but Delaney was right. FORGET WHAT YOU KNEW FROM BOOK 1. This was a fucking masterpiece. My fucking mind was blown. I am not sure how to review this book without spoiling anything. All I can say is you have to read Book 1 because everything circles back up to this point. Cause this book gave me the chills.

If you are a fan of the Ritual and the Monte Cristo, I would totally recommend this BOOK! However, please read books 1-3.

The way it was written, the way this man was destroyed, broken, beaten, I want to love him more than anything. He was Everything. I love Grey Van Doren with my every being. This book is definitely my book of the month.

The highly anticipated conclusion to the Obsidian Brotherhood series is nothing short of fantastic, brilliant, a masterpiece ..

This book will definitely have you feel some 🥵 feelings, right at the prologue. 😅 And then the book takes off in so many different feelings and directions that it is almost impossible to keep up. But don’t worry, because at the end of EVERY chapter, that one sentence will make you scream or cry or laugh. You will turn the page and you will take another ride on the roller coaster.

This book is about Grey. We learned about him in book one, and it’s safe to say that he captured everyone’s heart. This book had everything… Callbacks, and moments that made you remember pieces from within the series. All while telling his story in a world of chaos and insanity. His happily ever after is HARD fought and won. For every theory spiral, for every crazy thought… I could not have envisioned this. I’m kind of glad because this experience was absolutely everything.

And he does not disappoint 🥵

Oh. My. Gosh. These three own me so damn hard!! What a masterpiece I experienced, I- How- I might have been forever destroyed guys 😭🤍 Three souls bound together through darkness finding their way back together; gaah so so incredible!

Grey, oh gosh this man came and stole pieces of my heart, getting truly inside his mind made me love him even more 😌 Everything that led him to the girl who filled his heart seriously wrecked me. I can't get too much into it but damn his journey amazed me and left me a mess on the ground at the same time! 🫠🥀

The bond between Grey and the two people I won't name is world-destroyingly astonishing which consumes you completely! Twists and turns, explosive-worthy intensity, secrets and messed up shit revealed and an emotional rollercoaster of a ride lives between these pages!

Oof the darkness in this book is next level. Delaney sure held nothing back and went all in which wow was epically brought alive! 😱👌🏽 The same goes for the steam that is mind-blowing, beautiful and so freaking raw! 💋🤌🏼

Judgment Day and these three characters live rent-free in my mind, have me in a chokehold; whatever you call it that's what it is for me! Wow, simply wow.

DNF at 50% why? WHY?

I’m just giving my opinion of the first half part of the book because after that I saw where that was going didn’t want to read it anymore.

So you’re telling me that the story I’ve been waiting, the redemption the heartbreaking dark book that I was expecting you change it for some slap in the back, “Wrap everything” kind of book???

Hell NO!!🤬 I was expecting redemption, real dark, when good people do bad things because fuck the world Im gonna save myself!!!

I think at the beginning of this book she had an idea, and after some chapters she couldn’t work with that dark character she created and decided to surrender and played nice and safe because, let’s be honest Sadie would have been the odd one, the phoenix, the one that wins but no one is happy about it, but not everyone is ready for that conversation, so the author decided to play nice 🙂🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Spoilers Ahed… but just to be clear, this is why I always love the villain🙄

So, this girl gets kidnapped at 19, gets RAPED AND TORTURED FOR 3 fucking years, by multiple guys, just some “hole” to fill, they take her son and threaten her to kill him if she talks, she waits for you to save her, just to see you get married to a new girl and choosing someone else, so she realized:

- hey no one is coming, we need to save us ourselves

And because some guard suck your dick multiple times you’re the same???????? And you want to judge her??? HELL NOOOOOOO!!🤫🤫🤫🤫
(And no, I'm not victim shaming, they started it)

She deserved so much better!! I wanted that development, when is so dark you think you won’t see the light but you make it work, the kind of characters you hate that you loved them.

I hate the hero tbh! The bad guy would have done it in the first year and that’s that.

Oh I’m mad because she called our son black, it was in your HONOR you idiot!!🤬🤬

You didn’t need to ruin the other couple, for real, that was case closed and had there HEA!! WHY??

And hey this is not, oh I can’t deal with a plot twist, or that I cannot read a “why choose” but not like this.

Bye

Disappointed and let down

I am very disappointed in this book. Not only does it NOT feel or read like a D Foster book. I've been a fan from the beginning but the last book and this one let me down. This book not only destroyed a HEA I was excited for, but became downright gross in what was supposed to be steamy.

“I’d always belonged to Lincoln Huntington—from the day of my mother’s funeral when I’d asked him to run with me and he’d said yes. My spark needed his fire. He made me feel free, wanted, loved.
But I also belonged to Grey Van Doren—from the moment he’d pulled me out of the bathtub and made me promise not to ever try to leave him again. My chaos needed his peace. He made me feel safe, protected, cherished.”

I….have no idea what to say right now. This always happens where when I finish a series that I’ve been apart of since the first book released, I just feel speechless and flabbergasted that the series is over…that’s exactly what’s happening as I type this review.

I’ll be honest. When I first began reading this book, I felt both iffy yet excited all at once. Why you may ask? Because I knew this book was about Grey Van Doren, the dark and ‘heartless’ man who bowed to nobody and rather expected everyone else to bow to him. His personality that was portrayed along the previous 3 books in this series was as mentioned, the cruel, cold, and heartless man which is the type of fictional men I always fall for (oops). However, I was iffy because for basically the entirety of the beginning of this book, it felt slow and not much was happening.

After the 50% mark though?? now THAT’s when things got very interesting. Originally, I saw reviews saying this book was MFM which I was confused about because we’re introduced to Sadie, Grey’s “love interest” in the beginning of the book with no other man involved. I got intrigued so I kept reading and reading other reviews to see if I could find out who exactly the other F and M were but no review I saw spoiled it (thank god for that now) because damn, what a plot twist.

I’m not gonna be one of those people who spoil what happens in the story too much, but I will say that the plot twist(s) (kinda, depending on how much attention you have focused on while reading the other 3 books in this series) is pretty damn good. I definitely didn’t see it coming and it thankfully made the book pick up a bit more.

Lastly but DEFINITELY NOT least, can we talk about Ciarian and the fact that there’s an upcoming next generation of all these couples releasing in 2024?! The way my jaw dropped and I started silently screaming into my pillow like a lunatic. Especially after seeing the blurb of Cirian’s book and seeing how “he’s just like his dad” mentioned all throughout this story…god i cannot wait!!

I’m (im)patiently waiting for the next generation of all of these couples kids and to see who ends up with who. Personally, I have my own theories but only time will tell. For now though, I think this was a great closure to The Obsidian Brotherhood series and I’ll miss these couples more than I’d like to admit.

“You bring me to my knees.”

Holy wow! Judgment Day is one wild ride from beginning to end! A heart-pounding, gut-twisting, mind-bending, must-read romance. The most unlikely love story blossoms among the wreckage of bloodlust, vengeance, and retribution … and I was here for it all! I danced in the darkness and burned in the flames as this story of sacrifice and sin seduced every part of me: body, mind, and soul.

Dearest readers, I cannot and will not divulge much about the characters and plot because you must unwrap the presents throughout this bewitching tale. Just know that this is not your typical dark romance. Prepare to fall for this love story of many layers that’s rather grey, but oh so right. I was completely captivated by this romance—my heart pounding and mind racing as I lived and breathed this book.

Judgment Day is a riveting and remarkably told romance that intoxicates at every turn! I wasn’t prepared to for the fusion of fire, ferocity and feels that overtook me. My heart and mind were racing as I lived and breathed this book. Deliciously dirty, darkly depraved, and daringly dominant, this romance was my guilty pleasure … unexpected but satisfying in every way. This heart-hitting journey of love and vengeance knocked me off my axis! I burned for this book.

💋💋💋💋💋 smoldering and sinister kisses

Ok, ok. I decided literally three days ago that Caspian was my favorite of the Obsidian Brotherhood. I was wrong. Grey is my favorite. I had a feeling throughout the other books, but wasn't sure until I read Judgment Day.

Now, I will admit that I was annoyed with Grey in the first part of the book. But then there was a twist...and then another twist. And oh boy, I have never been so happy for a twist. I seriously just want to tell you all about them because they made me love Grey even more, but then I'd spoil the whole book. This book even made me like Lincoln a bit more, and he was my least favorite of the brotherhood.

So please, please just read this series to make it to this book. This is the final book of this series, and you should read the whole series because each book intertwines with one another. However, there will be a spinoff series coming next year and I'm excited for it!

If you haven't guessed it yet, I gave Judgment Day a pretty high rating - 4.5 ⭐️. If you're a dark romance reader then you 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 to read this series. And they're on Kindle Unlimited!

Judgment Day
(The Obsidian Brotherhood #4)
By Delaney Foster

I have read, talked about and recommended to friends Author Delaney Foster from the beginning of this series. The titles, the description of the Brotherhood, everything drew me into each book. So when I heard Judgment Day was coming, you can believe I was ramped up and couldn’t wait to read it.

Just like books one to three Judgment Day did not disappoint, it did however open up a lot of things that readers never would have imagined but heavens did it make this story steamy hot, like volcano steamy hot!

Grey’s story was well worth the wait! Every single page took us on a journey through Grey’s life and now we knew why he is right here standing with Chandler, Caspian, Lincoln and Liam. Ready to overthrow and take over the Obsidian Brotherhood.

There are twists and never would I have imagined some of these twists, they were jaw dropping and I felt that every character was just a shocked as the readers were.

When you think that the twists might have ended, No, no no no! This author opens up a whole other can of worms….and we continue to follow these men on their quest to rebuild the Brotherhood.

The storyline was a pathway for the characters that have grown so much in this series and a couple will set your heart a thumping!

How does it end and who is still standing? Well that’s for you to find out, but I will tell you that you will have a huge smile on your face when Judgment Day is comes!

**Remember: The complete series of The Obsidian Brotherhood are dark romantic suspense stories and they do have triggers. If you have read the first three you will be fine, if not please check for trigger warnings before you purchase.**

***Addition to original review***

I had forgotten some of the "action" that went on in Judgement Day....but it didn't matter because as I said in the original review....this was a book that tied up everything that brought about a new Obsidian Brotherhood, run by the perfect group of men to run the new Brotherhood!

I can’t do this anymore 😀

So in hallowed eve it was giving love triangle vibes and in this book it becomes a MFM romance?

This book was a MESS and all over the place. Fuck the three of them. I didn’t like them at all 😐

I have so much more to say but I can’t be bothered and with all the confusion and disappointment this book has caused me so I would say that’s about it.

I feel like I'm going to hell for how much I fucking loved this book!

Judgement Day was a masterpiece I'd swear was divinely inspired if not for those deliciously sinful scenes. Those were too naughty to come from heaven ;)

I had a lot of ideas where I thought this book might go but I was wrong. So. Freaking. Wrong. Yet it couldn't have been more perfect.

I have loved every book in this series, but Judgement Day was the pinnacle, the cherry on top, the ultimate pay off. Maybe its my depraved soul, but this book was a feast to my senses. I devoured it, feared it, loved it, and did not want it to end. I held my breath, cried a few tears, and got lost in the beautiful imagery the author painted.

To witness the evolution of these characters, their growth, losses, victories, and revelations was priceless. To see their love begin in innocence, change through pain and heartache, and finally blossom into its full potential - something even they never saw coming- was awe inspiring.

Judgement Day is now in my list of favorite books I've ever read.

And that little tease at the end....bring it!!!

this bookkkkk👀

this was totally unexpected for me! i went into this book thinking i knew how it was going to go, but it was completely different. but i wasn’t mad!

i was really waiting for greys book because of the tropes that i thought were going to be in it, but then the tropes were completely switched and i wasn’t even mad at it! what their relationship turned out to be was actually great. unexpected, so i wished there were a few more hints towards it in the beginning because then it would have felt more natural. also if their relationship developed sooner, i would have appreciated that a bit more.
i felt like it ended too soon and i couldn’t feel them really connect.

but i did really enjoy it! it was fast paced and i read it in just
a few sittings. the sex scenes were amazing too❤️‍🔥

This book! This series! It’s magnificent!
Dark romance, secret society. A brotherhood. Action, suspense, twists, turns and angst. A world you’ll get engrossed in and never want to come out of.
We were introduced to Grey when Chandler arranged his marriage to Lyric to save her. And during the time, we discovered the strong, silent, brooding man had a past that ate away at his soul. He could never give Lyric what she would need because his heart would always belong to his first love. His true love.
I was anxiously awaiting this release. I needed Grey’s story from the moment he came into the series and Delaney Foster did not disappoint.

I highly recommend you read the full series or at least book three before this as it’s connected and I did not see the plot going the way it did at all. 🤯

Thank you Delaney Foster for an ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.

Well damn, throughout this book, I had so many WTF moments that I can't even count. I was more than halfway through and had to sent Delaney Foster a message just expressing my absolute shock for what was going on! The beginning of this book tells the reader to go in blind with Grey, everything you think you knew, you don't...truer words cannot be written.

I am going to keep this a spoiler free review, but after release day, I might come back and throw some serious spoilers out there because I just can't keep stuff in! First of all, this book is not for the faint of heart. There are triggers for a reason, don't ignore them. If you've kept up with the other books from this series, you know DF does not shy away from the dark side and she does a perfect job of incorporating all of the evil this Brotherhood has created. Now, let's get into Grey....

From the first time he was introduced, I claimed him and I still do at this point. He takes morally gray to new levels and my twisted little heart was there for it all. We've seen his absolute devotion to Sadie in Lyric and Lincoln's book and it always had me curious to know more about him. Well we get the whole story in this one and boy is it a doozy! This man has no ends that he won't go to to protect the ones he loves and get ready to find out who exactly is on that short list of people he loves.

If you're like me and love seeing people from other books making appearances in current books, then you're in for the best treat of your life. This book is packed full of everyone from the past three books and I wasn't sure how it would all work out, but hell yes!! I loved the book, I LOVE Grey (still claim him) and I love that I went into it with an open mind and was thrown with the twists and turns throughout.

You have to read the other books to truly appreciate this one, so start at the beginning. If Dark Romance, secret societies, morally gray characters, amazing plots and superb spice is your deal, you won't regret this series.

Quotes:

"He wasn't a good man. He wasn't a bad man, either. He was somewhere in between. He was Grey."

"She was so full of life and love and passion. In a world full of roses, she was a wildflower."

**Side note, if you've read this send me a message! I need someone to discuss this book with!!**

And Mic drop!

Grey. You were everything and more. Delaney gave us everything we wanted and what way to end the series.

Grey has been the most anticipated and mysterious dark character in the series and finally getting into his head was a sight to behold. He was ruthless and cunning and out for revenge, but what I love most about him was his vulnerability and his heart, he was ready to be loved and to love back.

At the start of the book, we get a flashback to his younger self and Sadie, who he loved deeply, but his forever was snatched from him when he was sent to prison and had been pining over his lost love since then.

When his feelings are at play, he just can’t ignore his wants anymore and puts his true feelings out to his love, in hope that she feels the same. This is where the surprising twist develops and where the book turns into an MFM romance. And let me tell you, those scenes were HOT!

I’m still in a daze with how everything panned out and couldn’t ask for a better story for Grey, he truly deserves his happiness after everything he has been through.

This book like the others in the series is dark and I suggest reading them in order to fully immerse yourself in the Obsidian Brotherhood as plots to overlap. You will not be disappointed, every male is a true alpha who worships his queen.

This book was genius and you will not be disappointed where the story goes! And although this is the end of the series, I can’t wait for the next generation!

A must-read of 2023!

You must read The Obsidian Brotherhood books 1-3 before reading Judgement Day.

Grey is just…WOW! I mean, he has every right to be as revenge driven as he is but my mind was absolutely detonated. It's really scary when a man like Gray can put on a calm demeanor and hold all that rage inside. When the rage gets loose, there is going to be all out destruction in his wake.

The author wrote his character so well that you truly do fall in love with the villain of the story. Grey Van Doren is a man who has been beaten down and had his spirit destroyed in every way imaginable. This past is so painful that I physically ached for him. The flashbacks of his "former self" made that pain so much more real because you could imagine Grey being a different man had things gone a different way.

As Delaney Foster is well known for, the plot twist upon plot twist in Judgement Day will give you whiplash like you've never experienced. I was left staring at my Kindle wondering what in the world I had just read and not entirely sure I should read on, kind of scared of what would happen next. Was I surprised at how things ended? UHM YES! So very much. I did not expect that from Grey, AT ALL.

Always check the TW/CW:
💥MFM 💥Villain gets the girl
💥Super angsty 💥Secret society
💥Revenge

Anywho! Time to wrap this up with the goodies:
Read: 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Spice: 3🌶🌶🌶

I thought I was ready. I Was. Not. Ready.

Obsidian Brotherhood. Those two words from Delaney Foster have meant: Steamy romance. Angst. Ritualistic. Taboo. Forbidden. Dark romance. Hot AF. since we met Caspian in Mischief Night. But nothing, and I mean NOTHING prepared us for Grey 🖤

I knew I wanted more when he saved Lyric for Linc. But holy fucking wow did Delaney take us on a journey! And as only she could!

🖤 Backstory
🖤 Wanting the unattainable
🖤 Classic hellacious Delaney plot twist

Rollercoaster thru the emotions puts it mildly as to how I was on this 3 day reading dream. And that’s only because I didn’t want to tell Grey goodbye. Torture is a good word for it, but oh what sweet sweet agony it was. This man is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Download this now. But be forewarned: Read this series in order to fully appreciate Grey for who and what he is. For full understanding of the story. Talk about a #bookhangover

"We are light and dark. Night and day. Two worlds apart, thrown together. He says he loves her. I say love shouldn’t hurt."

Holy plot twist. I went into Judgment Day thinking that I knew what would probably happen. Well those preconceived ideas were thrown out the window.

I've loved this book since the beginning of the series, Mischief Night. When we were first introduced to Grey in a previous book I instantly loved him and couldn't wait to get his full story. Grey's past is dark and painful. He's been through so much.

This book had so many jaw dropping moments for me. Things I couldn't have imagined and twists galore. Delaney's writing flowed beautifully almost like poetry. I highlighted so many words and phrases.

"He’d said I could have closure, but I wasn’t sure he knew what that might cost us all."

"He wasn’t a good man. He wasn’t a bad man, either. He was somewhere in between. He was Grey."

And the spice was on fire! It started off a little slow but once things took off they smoldered.

This series is one of my favorite in dark romance. Highly recommend reading the whole series starting with Mischief Night. This was the best conclusion to the series that we could have gotten.

Take everything you thought you knew about this series-abo it the characters, about Grey, and just throw it out the window right now. Go in blind-go in with an open mind, and know that darkness, possibly darkest this author has gone, is waiting for you. You absolutely can not read this as a stand alone-and you must run, not walk, to Amazon and immediately one click the other books in this series.
I felt my heart get torn out of my body-but Grey, Grey was just the most perfect alpha that every reader looks for. He’s tormented in his very own way, and we feel the revenge he seeks down to our bones. You always remember certain books because of their twists-and this will be one of those books that you discuss this year just for that reason. I’m still reeling-and Geeze louise it couldn’t get much more spicy. An absolute must read, and one of my favorites by this author! If I could give more than five stars I would!

Completely didn’t see this throuple coming and I don’t know why.
I’m soo in love with the love that’s in this book.
Definitely had some tears going at one part, and my heart was breaking. but in the end I’m soo happy that Grey (and the other 2) were able to find some peace and love! And come on now, daddy Grey is everything I wanted and more.

And let’s just say if you are wanting some mf and mfm spice, this is superb.

“ It was all proof that no matter how broken you were, how many shadows were wrapped around your past, or how many demons danced in your mind, love always made your soul feel at home.”

OH MY GOSH!! I legit screamed when “Judgement Day” landed on my kindle. I have been dying to get my hands on Grey’s book for what feels like forever.

Judgement Day is the 4th book in the “Obsidian Brotherhood” series. Let me tell you you have no idea what you’re on for cos this story will make your heart race. It will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire journey. I had such high hopes for “Judgement Day” and I was not disappointed. Delaney Foster completely blew me away.

This story is filled with adventure, danger and lots and I mean lots of spice. This is the spiciest I’ve read of Delaney Foster’s work yet. “Judgement Day” was perfect in every way and I can’t recommend it enough.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
FIVE STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
