‘Wired Urges’ was an amazing collection of poems. My favourite narrative poetry pieces were ‘Eve Depicted’ and ‘Surrounding Suction.’

Adam Laws is a great writer, and I will look forward to reading more of his work in the near future. His writing style was fluent and interesting throughout.

It’s always refreshing to read longer poetry pieces and to find other poets who prefer that style. We live in a time where 5 word Instagram quotes seem to be dominating the poetry scene, but I will always be a huge fan of the more traditional styles.
