Again a Mafia Bratva lite romance that I enjoyed.
If you like to read about insta luv/ lust then this is the book for you.
It's a holiday read and it has all kinds of cutsey holiday cheer with a grumpy Bratva hitman and a holiday obsessed heroine.
She loves sugar so much that she reminds me of Buddy,the character in my all time fav christmas movie,Elf.
It has this author's trademark sex scenes( lot and lots),with a possessive hero who is all about his girl.
I am seeing a pattern with how this author writes,just what I am looking for in a read these days,lite and sexy.
Enjoyed this Christmas read in June.

This was a cute holiday story. There were lots of repetitive phrases and a lot of winking from the characters, LOL. Otherwise, sexy holiday story that could have been a novella.

I generally will read everything that Sonja Grey puts out, naturally a Christmas novella seemed up my alley. I think I was just expecting more in the climax instead of just her having a panic attack. I will say I would marry Sasha any day of the week!

Никога не е имало свидетел, когато отстранява мишената си. И сега, той трябва да направи избор. Да елиминира свидетеля, или да се ожени за нея, привързвайки я към себе си и убеждавайки се, че тя няма да има възможността да го предаде на полицията.
Точно както е заглавието на книгата, Александър е намусен братва убиец, който не харесва празниците.
Холи пък е изпълнена с доброта и обожаваща празниците млада жена. Двамата са пълна противоположност. Но както знаем, противоположностите се привличат.
Новелата е доста кратка, и сладка. Имаме любов от пръв поглед, принудителен брак, намусен герой и невинна сладка героиня. Идеално Коледно четиво напълно в стила на Соня Грей. Препоръчвам на всеки, който иска да прочете нещо леко, сладко и порочно.

This was super cute and quick read! Not a lot of angst or anything nor a conflict. So if you want something fluffy to pass the time, this is it. He is in the Bratva but he's pretty sweet with her and strangely so was his family so this isn't that type of mafia book. It's on the lighter fluffy side and he just happens to have a job in the mafia but I didn't mind it.
Holly and Aleksandr were cute! Holly witnesses Aleksandr unaliving someone one night. Unfortunately he can't leave any trace or witnesses alive so it's kill her or marry her to keep her quiet. Obviously he chooses the latter 🤭
They fell in love quick! Holly melted his cold hitman heart from first sight and I loved her making his grumpy ass get into the Christmas festivities with her and he indulged her. Aleksandr was such a big softie for her. It was really sweet to read.
This also had that trope I love! Aleksandr gave Holly a nickname in Russian, lisichka, but originally he told her it meant "pain in the ass." Even though it really means "little fox." And she thought it meant PITA for a while 🤣

I'm not sure exactly how to feel about this book. It was the first ever mafia/Bratva book I read and I needed it to round out a challenge. Going in, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I think I really liked it. My only question or hesitation is how realistic it was, and I'm guessing not really realistic at all. But the story and the characters are truly endearing.
Holly is a 23 year old "orphan" living with her stepsister. She works as an elf/helper at a department store during their busy Christmas season. Holly loves Christmas and all that it entails. Alexandre is 13 years her senior and a hitman for the Bravta. He's cold and calculating and has closed himself off from love because of his profession.
When Holly happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, she is forced to be under Alexandre's watchful eye and soon to become his wife due to her unfortunate timing.
There is an instalove, morally grey with a soft heart, V h and experienced older man, grumpy/sunshine dynamic. And an awesome cat. Enjoy.

Really great story
I thought this might just be a similar storyline of a Bratva & Age Gap. But it wasn't.
While the blurb is true to the rest of book, it doesn't do it justice.
There was just a different feel to this book; whether it's was the innocence of Holly, the Christmas theme, the beautiful budding and gradual relationship that grows between them or just the way the Aleksandr realises what matters in life and Holly realises that she's never been so happy after so much lose.
While I would've LOVED the reveal of the pregnancy test and then the way Aleksandr is with Holly's body changing (especially with they way he already worships her after her past trauma). Then the birth and the first time as an actual scene.
We did get a brief mention of these things but it would've made the book so much better after feeling for Holly's physical trauma's.

This was the very first Sonja Grey book I read. I wanted something fun and light to read over Christmas. Not sure why I thought a Bratva hitman would be light and fun but it was. It send me on a slipper slope. Between Christmas Eve '23 and January '24 I had read everything she had written and was devastate when I realized the 5th book in the Paved in series hadn't been written yet.
Aleksandr (Sasha) & Holly'. I loved these 2.
It could have gone a completely different way if it had been someone else that had committed the murder that Holly witnesses. I would rather be married to Sasha then be killed by him but that could just be me.
Who doesn't love the idea of naked laser tag 😊
All in all it was a cute story and chances are if I can't find another Christmas Bratva / Mafia book this year this will be get another read.

Another great read by Sonja. I really enjoyed Sasha and Holly’s story. It was a little shorter, but a super sweet holiday read. When Holly witnesses something she shouldn’t have, Sasha has no chance but to take her and make her his own! Sasha may have been a grumpy hitman, but with Holly he was sweet and such a softie! These two were really cute together and I loved reading their story. As soon as I started reading I knew I wouldn’t be able to stop, and before I knew it I was reading the epilogue. There were a few moments I was laughing- like when she thought he was calling her a pain the a$$ in Russian, but he actually her his little Fox! And I loved the naked laser tag! There were some pretty spicy moments too, especially the one that involved Christmas lights!!

And I don't know what to think, that is, what things I'm reading this year, I say, if I want to read something real I read the newspaper, but this is already very fucked hahaha, that is, I understand the issue of the boom of sexy mobsters who end up inevitably developing Stockholm syndrome in their captives, and let's be honest if he's a mega handsome guy, with a lot of money, who is able to set the world on fire for you, well anyone falls in love, but... wey this fell in love in 2 seconds, literally saw it and He fell in love, then kidnaps her and already loves him, and in less than 24 hours they get married, re precocious the girl... Anyway, at least give me some romance, time to fall in love, but hey, you can't have everything in this life... 2.5 🌟🌟✨

This book was awesome!!😊 I really enjoyed reading this book. I almost missed out on reading it because I thought it was too short. What a surprise this book was. It had every tropes that I love in it.😊 Sonja really took her time to write this awesome book. I didn't feel it was instant love at all. Everything in the book was well developed. I usually don't give too many books a five score but this one is definitely one. I only wished it was longer. The epilogue is was awesome also. I really like Sonja's writing style and most of her books. I really love her new series books.

I loved this one! Sasha and Holly were wonderful! Even though he's a hitman, he had a hidden heart of gold and he fell head over heels for Holly the minute he saw her. When she saw him at an inopportune time, he had to make a split second decision that would change both of their lives forever. This was such a great read!.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I thought that I knew what I was getting with this book. It turned out to be a lot more humor and sweetness to go along with the conflict and heat. These two had many differences but Holly truly brought a light he didn't want to extinguish. This was such a fun and quick holiday read! I loved the romance and spice in this book. The two main characters were likable and super cute together. I’m on my Christmas books hunt especially but the authors that I love, so when one of my friends reminded me that sonja (my new favourite author) had a mafia Christmas book published, I immediately ran over to KU to get it.

Short, sweet, and spicy
I completely fell in love with Aleksandr and Holly's story! It's sweet, super spicy and filled with so much holiday spirit! These two are adorable, and yes, a little cheesy, but that's exactly what I was looking for. Trust me though, the blazing steam definitely levels out all the sweetness.

It was good and just chill vibes, I love how she had him wrapped around her finger, had him loving Christmas, making cookies for neighbors. They were so cute together. They had me wanting to play laser tag with my future significant other 🤭

I've been dying to start this novella ever since I saw it on Tiktok. It's good and smutty. They both get down and dirty pretty fast. I liked it but sometimes started skimming through the paragraphs. I felt it was drawn out more than it should. Other than that, it was good.

As usual another great mafia romance from Sonja Grey. Heavy on the smut and light on the danger. That's perfect though being as it is a Christmas novella and it intention is to be quick and dirty. 😏 I really enjoyed reading about Holly and Aleksandr. Exactly what I have come to expect from Sonja and that is always a great thing.

It’s cute like a Christmas tv movie. It’s well written, I like the way this author writes. 3 stars though because I don’t really like that everything happens so fast. Meet marriage love unprotected sex and probably pregnancy (which I dislike a lot in any book I read but I ignore it most of the times) in just 2-3 days…
