Killer Case Files: 20 Shocking True Crime Stories Volume 5

Rate this book
Shocking and brutal true crimes against innocent victims who deserve to have their stories remembered.

A true crime anthology of 20 stories, Killer Case Files delivers gripping accounts of depraved and horrifying murders. These killers can range from seemingly normal people to psychopaths and serial killers who commit years of murder and mayhem.

Follow law enforcement as they use forensic science and old school detective skills to identify and apprehend these violent criminals, deviant predators, and serial killers.

20 Shocking Stories in Each Volume

Volume 5 includes . . .
◆ Disappearance in Sunrise City: When an eleven year old girl goes missing and is found dead days later, it’s odd how quickly the case goes cold and then stays cold for decades. Where was the murderer all those years and what was he doing every day? Maybe, he was a first responder who was supposed to help find missing children.

◆ Mother's Lack of Mercy: Any normal parent’s worst fear is having harm come to one of your children. None of us can really even imagine having two children who came to be known as Jane Doe #4873 and Jane Doe #6607 in separate incidents that were a year apart. Even more unimaginable is their own mother being responsible for both of their murders.

◆ When Evil Meets Evil: One of the highest positions of trust in our society - some would say sacred trust - is that of a priest. A man who is supposed to represent the best of human nature, the model of moral and righteous conduct, especially to those who are disadvantaged and vulnerable. When that level of trust is repeatedly and systematically violated it can trigger resentment and even outrage. As it turns out, not only for regular people in the community, but also for the most hardened and violent prison inmates.

◆ 'Til Death Do Us Part: Love triangles are relatively common. Thankfully, murders are much less common. But sometimes the web of lies between multiple people is so incredible that when someone finally admits guilt, it’s actually only the beginning of the story, not the end.

. . . plus 16 more shocking, true crime murder stories from Jamie Malton's Best True Crime.

I watched a true crime doc about one of the cases written about (coincidence) and it was told very differently (friends of the victim were interviewed) than how the author wrote about it, I understand some details have to be left out to keep the stories brief but it was almost completely different so I wonder where she gets the info to write about them.

This book contains 20 cases including obscure crimes that have not been covered previously by other authors and shows. I enjoyed the detail the author has put into, especially as she doesn't hold back from the gory details, which admittedly is something I enjoy in these books. Jamie clearly has a talent for writing true crime and it's evident that she has put time and effort into her research.
