Where Do The Crows Go?

Ten year-old Jesse Holder could hardly wait for his summer vacation. Then, almost as soon as it started, he badly hurt his knee. What could he do now, Jesse tearfully wondered, having to be on crutches for two whole weeks?

Where Do The Crows Go? is the gentle story of Jesse’s visit with his grandmother, Rose, in Santa Barbara, where Rose uses nature, art, and Jesse’s imagination to help him have fun and move through his disappointment.

This beautifully illustrated little book will entertain children, and encourage their imagination, creativity, and taking a closer look at the world around them. It may even help them meet their own difficult experiences! Where Do The Crows Go? is lovingly written in memory of the author’s own grandmother, and honors the special relationship between grandparents and grandchildren everywhere.

Sweet Delight!

This is a sweet story of healing connection, family, presence, simplicity and dreaming to access inner wisdom.
Beautifully narrated journey of Jesse’s healing and going on inner adventures when his injury wouldn’t allow outer ones.
And how that healing remains with him all his life as a poignant time with his grandmother.
The illustrations are so beautiful and so perfectly blended with the story.
Making this a delightful adventure for the reader no matter their age!Loved it!
