A light-hearted holiday romance by bestselling author, T.I. Lowe. Georgie Harlow is all about spreading the magic of Christmas, but the magic of love keeps eluding her. Maybe mountain man Machlan Masterson will help her hunt it down once and for all. *Also included: A special sneak peek of Indigo Isle!

🎄The Holiday Hunt de T.I. Lowe✨
Argumento:
Simplemente me hizo enojar!
I’m typically not a huge fan of novellas because the character development and storyline struggles to satisfy me.
But I’m trying to branch out, particularly at Christmas when there are so many cute ones available.
This one was super cute. I really enjoy T. I. Lowe’s straightforward and down-to-earth writing style. A fun, sweet story that you can easily read in an hour.
Georgie has moved to a small mountain town in the Georgia mountains and taken a position over the town Chamber of Commerce. She takes on the mission of revitalizing the town, even the yearly Christmas celebrations.
Secretly she hides her crush on one of the town business owners Mac Masterson. As Christmases come and go, she begins to wonder if he will EVER take notice of her??
Just the thing to get you in the holiday spirit. Cute touch: the chapter titles are Christmas songs. Georgia has not been home in several years, putting all her effort into marketing the town of Willa Falls in her job as Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce. She has planned lots of fun projects around Christmas and it has paid off. Hunky Mac has been on her radar since she moved to town. Now to get him to notice her. Witty banter, snarky side kick and manipulation mishap makes this a cute Christmas read. *I purchased this book from Amazon in December, 2022. All opinions are my own.*
I love love love T. I. Lowe's books (_Under the Magnolias_ comes to mind as a particular standout), but this one just didn't do it for me. I didn't find the protagonist particularly likable; the love interest and his family were great, but I frankly could not figure out the MC's appeal.
I'll return to some of Lowe's other books before this one.
Christmas time has yummy smells, pretty decorations, joyful music, warm, cozy sitting near the fireplace, delicious hot chocolate, sweet special moments with family, and much more. This is why Georgie was brought to Willa Creek Falls. Her job as the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce was to bring all of these “feels” to the town, rescuing its dying economy. With all this planning, she found the one thing she wanted for Christmas, but he didn’t even see her. In this story, we see sweet moments of holiday fun and warm, delightful connections. I haven’t read many books by T.I. Lowe, but now I think I’ll pick up a few. Her writing style was smooth and enjoyable. It was easy to read, with very fun banter between the characters. It was cute and quirky but also thought-provoking. If you want a clean, romantic book to add to your holiday reading list, this is the one for you. The publisher gave me this book, but this did not influence my review in any way; all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Georgie moved to a small mountain town in the Blue Ridge mountains to undertake the town’s revitalization efforts. While she puts down roots and transforms the town’s commerce, she secretly crushes on one of the town business owners, Mac Masterson. It’s not an insta fall in love and move in together novella. The story takes you on Georgie’s and Mac’s journey which spans over several Christmases with a very sugary, heartfelt ending!
Up until the release of The Holiday Hunt last month, I have read everything Lowe has written. This story is super familiar, but for the life of me, I can't think of when I read it or what the name of the original book is! Anyway, Lowe is a genius writer and I have no problem re-reading any of her books!
The novella was disjointed and simply made no sense. It seemed like something thrown together too quickly and without planning. The sneak peak section of her next novel was fantastic, but the novella isn’t worth your time.
They are usually hit or miss for me. I like them to still have some plot or meaning behind them and relatable characters because sometimes they just seem thrown together.
Not 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁! This one has it all!
It spans multiple years and it flows beautifully. It's got the small town-y, snow-y, hallmark-y vibe.
Georgie moved to a small town to help revive it. She's had the hots for the beautiful mountain man, Mac, for years. She doesn't understand why the'll never give her the time of day.
Don't worry. They end up together, finally, no spoilers there because it's implied and you expect it. But it doesn't happen overnight. 😉
I loved the part when they both get the flu and Mac's mom takes them to the family house and puts them both in the "sick" room.
Short, sweet, fun and believable, this is one you should definitely add to your December/Christmas TBR, available on Kindle Unlimited!
This cozy Christmas novella just warms your heart and has you believing in the power of love. Georgie Harlow is hired by a small town in the Blue Ridge Mountains to revived local businesses. She meets local business man Mac Masterson and wonders if he is truly the man of her dreams. I enjoyed seeing all the holiday events Georgie planned for townspeople and visitors alike. There was a mix of light comedy, miscommunication and assumptions which led to a relationship that developed over five years. Will Georgie get her wish come true and will Mac truly have his wish come true as well? There was a sweet and satisfying ending that was enjoyable.
The Holiday Hunt takes place over the course of a few years and was a breath of fresh air for a novella. It’s added to the realism of the story and as a novella it didn’t need the Insta-love aspect.
Georgie has had a crush on Mac for years. She hopes every year will be the year she gets her Christmas wish but as the years pass, the wish seems more and more out of reach.
Taking place every year during the towns Christmas festival. The Holiday Hunt is a closed door, short and sweet story that will have you cuddled up on the couch reaching for a cup of hot cider.
The Holiday Hunt is a sweet contemporary romance set in a small town. I’ve never read a book whose lead character was a chamber of commerce member, so this was a unique read. The chamber aspect put the lead behind the scene of the main holiday event, instead of as a participating citizen. She works one-on-one with vendors and city officials, which is how she meets Mack.
The biggest problem is that it’s a novella so it feels rushed. But I also liked that it was a straight to the point cute love story.
Spoiler now - I do however find it weird she spend 4 years pining for a guy.. but then when he spent a whole year making romantic gestures … she blew him off until Christmas or made no sense.. but oh well. All is well that ends well.

Well into the midnight hour. This is truly the epitome of a romantic comedy. T. I. Lowe has a way with words. Her descriptions ( i.e., "you gain man" are hilarious. Well worth reading.
I just love knowing that any time I pick up a T I Lowe book, I'm in for a treat. I think I own all of her books and my favorite one happens to be whichever I'm reading at the time. Another great read with The Holiday Hunt 🙂
T.I Lowe does not disappoint. This book is an easy read that warms you up like a cup of hot cocoa. If you're looking for a feel good Christmas love story this is the book.
Pretty typical romance. She is pining for handsome guy who is not interested in her. Eventually things turn around and girl gets boy. She is in charge of the Chamber of Commerce and running the town holiday events, so it takes place over the course of 3 years.
Romance, sweet, contemporary; novella Cute, light, sweet novella. Holiday setting. She’s had her eye on him forever. Misunderstandings and fun ensue. HEA
Perfect Christmas story. T.I. Lowe has done it again. I can’t wait for her next book. Read this in a little over an hour. I hope the next release is longer.
