Surrender Ceremony
In the new future, women have taken over. Under the Female Supremacy Party, men have been stripped of their rights. They can no longer vote or hold jobs without a woman's permission. With this new social order, fresh ceremonies are being developed each and every day. Weddings have become antiquated and obsolete as they’re replaced by the Surrender Ceremony.
When a woman is ready to claim a man, she approaches the boy’s family, secures permission, and then she makes a demand. She tells the boy that he will become hers. Depending on her inclinations, he might be a slave, a pet, a plaything, or a servant. Allison has enjoyed Brandon's service so far, which means she’s ready for their Surrender Ceremony. She will see this boy collared, leashed, and on his knees in front of all of their female family and friends (the boys aren't invited).
Unfortunately, Brandon still thinks he has something to say about his future. He's been able to retain some shred of dignity by becoming her assistant, which means he still gets a paycheck.
