Claire Holly didn’t plan to see Jesse Taylor again. Sure, they were friends back in college, and there was a time when they could’ve been more. But sadly, fate wasn’t on their side. Now, even though they work for the same company, their paths never cross, which is just fine with Claire. Until an office project throws them together and everything changes.
It’s not long before Claire realizes the feelings they had years ago aren’t as stuck in the past as she’d assumed. And somewhere between helping him decorate his house for Christmas and attending her sister’s wedding together, she wonders if they might even have a future together.
But in order to claim their second chance at love, Claire will have to overcome her deepest fears. Literally. Will the cost of keeping Jesse at her side for longer than just the holiday season be more than she’s willing to pay?

Jan lives in Minnesota with her husband. Their two grown children live nearby. And their fur baby is Norman. A rescue Pug/ Boston terrier mix. He loves to sleep under Jan's desk when he's not chewing everything in sight--including flip flops and TV remotes.
Jan likes to knit but scarves and baby blankets and loves buying more yarn. She talked to her house plants. And she waits each spring for her gardens to bloom.
Jan loves to read romances - just check out the titles on her Kindle any given week. It's not surprising she loves to write to them as well. It's fun finding two characters who belong together, even if they don't realize it in the beginning and make things difficult for the author.
This is book two in The Holiday With The Holly Sister's Series and it is Claire and Jesse story and it is definitely a must read. Claire and Jesse have history that ended in a upsetting situation. Claire and Jesse now have to work together on a Christmas Project but with things being awkward between them they will have to break the ice if they are hoping to move forward. When Clair needs a plus one for her sister's wedding she plucked up the courage and asked Jesse who said yes as long as Claire helped him decorate his house for the holidays. Will Claire and Jesse be able to capture the Christmas Spirit and work a miracle in every way including on themselves and eventualities a chance on each other again and get the happy ending that they both deserve. I absolutely loved this book and it was such a beautiful Christmas story full of trust, hope, forgiveness and love and watching Claire and Jesse navigate and grow together and even with all the ups and downs along the way they are so perfect for each other and are certainly stronger together and become a better version of themselves. I couldn't put this book down as it had you turning the pages wondering what would happen next and what the outcome would be for them and it certainly didn't disappoint. Jan Gallagher Dunn is an amazing author and writer and her book's are definitely worth reading and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
I encourage you to read the first book to make sense of some things mentioned in the second book. It’s not a priority, I had forgotten a lot when I started reading and it helped me remember what went on with her sister.

I really enjoyed this book, it was festive and just what I needed being down. I ended up getting sick and wasn’t sure I’d finish the ARC but I managed to pull through. So worth it!!
