She’s gorgeous, innocent, with the looks of a goddess. The way she looks at me makes me wish I’d lived a completely different life from the beginning. I can barely contain myself when I’m around her. All I want to do is protect her, keep her safe, and the worst part of all, I’ve been sent here to kill her.
Jenna !! Why do you do this to us ?! I was going crazy reading this book. I needed Gage to get his girl back. I couldn’t get enough of this duo. I thought it was amazing how deeply they loved each other.
Ugh !! This book made me want to scream !! Just f bombing amazing 🏆🥇!!
Billie is an aspiring author just trying to live her life with a dead end job at a museum. She meets Gage one night when he saves her from a group of perverts.
Gage, on the other hand, is a hitman sent to kill her. He takes one look at her and knows he can't go through with it.
I’m a devil. She’s an angel. Everything about this is wrong…Yet all that does is make me want her more.
This book is classic Jenna Rose with an OTT possessive hero and an innocent heroine. There's sizzling chemistry between them! What I didn't like was the separation! There's a two week separation, then a five month separation between the main characters. I understand it was needed for the storyline but I wasn't a fan.
safety: virgin heroine age gap (19h, mid-30sH) kidnapping daddy kink/breeding/rough sex no OM/OW no cheating/sharing HEA with epilogue four years later ♡
I thought this was a dark and steamy novella. Gage is sent to kill Billie. However, once he sees her, he can’t go through with it. However, there are darker forces behind all this that they will need to overcome. I found this story to be quite exciting.

Billie is an aspiring author who spends her days planning her books, this day though had no idea how much her life was about to change when a tall handsome stranger walked into the art gallery nor that her very existence was in danger. Meeting Gage throws her for a loop she is attracted to him which is a new and exciting feeling for her. He’s the perfect muse for a book boyfriend, that is until she discovers why he walked in her art gallery. Thrust in to a world she never wanted and falling for a man she doesn’t know, can she trust Gage to keep her safe and tell her the real truth?
Gage is an established Hitman and has been hired to kill Billie, according to his information she’s a receptionist at an art gallery run by the mob, and could be dangerous to them. Gage knows the second he enters the gallery that she’s innocent and had no clue as to what is really going on behind closed doors. From that moment on he knows he’s meant to be there to keep her safe, and claim her as his and his alone. He knows that getting to the truth is his only way of getting Ellie to trust him, will he be able to get to the truth and will Ellie believe in his love for her?
Well what can I say this was another Jenna Rose hit for me. I always find her writing gives me characters I can see in my minds eye. Ellie was feisty in ways you don’t always get and she was certainly no pushover when she wanted the truth. Highly recommended sweet and steamy 4.2* read.
It's an insta-love story in 105 pages. Very short and super rushed. I barely had time to get to know the characters. The FMC is inexperienced and insecure, almost to the point where she's not realistic. The MMC is the typical "I swore I would never fall in love, but suddenly I saw you and now I'm in love."

A quick read you put down until you have turned the last page Billie working as a receptionist in an art gallery innocent to why anyone would want her dead, yet a hitman is sent to take her out. Gage sexy as get out hitman takes jobs as they come but also works by a set of rules so when he is sent to take out a young women working in an art gallery he knows he isn’t going to be able to take her out like instructed he also know that if he doesn’t do something to protect her because if he doesn’t take her out as instructed his boss will send another to compete the job so taking her to keep her safe is his only option. Billie is an aspiring author working at an art gallery. Unbeknownst to her, she’s been targeted by an FBI agent gone rogue. Gage is the hitman charged with taking her out, but once he meets her he realizes that she’s not a part of the crime ring that’s involved in the art gallery. Gage decides to save Billie, but she makes it difficult for him because she doesn’t trust easily.
This was almost an instalove, almost because of the trust issues that get in the way. I didn’t really care for Billie, she was kinda dumb in the beginning, but turned into a smarter victim by the end. I wanted more Gage. The heartbreaking way he felt it when she didn’t trust him was everything. But this was a short novella, with more running than there was time with the hero and heroine together.

Sorry. The dumb girl ruined it. So you've got Gage (hitman) sent to kill Billie (a dumb nobody) and he insta-loves her. So he takes her in order to save her from the other bad guys and she's all, "but let me close the store and set the alarm." Please. I was willing to forgive the stupidity once, but then he explains what's going on, all the people trying to kill her, and she's like oh but let me go out on my own because I can definitely protect myself better than someone that's actually trained to kill. Then when he has to rescue her again, she's all, "but let me get my laptop. and what about my job". Girl, just die already. I was DNF at 50% because of that alone. There are way better books out there.
Hitman by Jenna Rose Billie and Gage are instantly attracted to each other. Billie is an aspiring writer and Gage is a hitman sent to kill her. Their first date leads to a drama, distrust, and an obsessive love. I can't say much more without giving the story away. I will say this is a J.R. book that I would reread and I love the strength Billie shows along with Gage’s dedication. The epilogue is perfectly done and is the cherry on top.

I like this story. It held my attention throughout the book. Billie is a sweet girl. She is young, innocent, and down to earth. She is doing good for herself until he showed up. Now she is in a tough situation. Gage is a hitman. He is ruthless, smart, and older. He was doing fine until he sees her. Their journey is action packed with a lot of sex. I wanted more of their chemistry than just about sex. The writing was done beautifully. Good work again Jenna Rose!
Billies life doesnt have many thrills shes works at a gallery and spend most her free time writting and she just happens to be hitman Gages next target. But when Gage meets her, his plans change, he cant kill her but hes got to keep her safe, but can she trust him? Well written steamy fast paced hitman romance.

Read this book as soon I get it. Our FMC might be naive but she trust her instincts. I may not understand her motives for running way but I guess that is what led to them being free from the "tyranny" that's dodging their steps.
Of course, the heat is high, full of action in and out of bed and the MMC can't get enough of her.

Billie (h), a receptionist at an art gallery, is the unexpected target that hitman Gage (H) is supposed to take care of, but one look and he instantly falls for the younger woman. While he may be unwilling to harm Billie, Gage knows that others will come for her and he’ll have to protect her even as Billie finds herself unable to trust him. Action and adventure in this hot and steamy age gap quickie with a little bit of drama and a side of heat.
Billie works a boring desk job at a gallery. One day while at work three guys come in and harass her and get chased away by Gage. Gage is a hit man who was sent to kill Billie, but the instant he sees her he knows its a mistake because there is no way this sweet innocent girl is part of the organized crime ring he's trying to take down. When Gage tries to save Billie will she trust him or run from him?
Absolutely love. He's over the top, knows what he's doing and where he's at in his life. What he didn't expect was that one of his hits was going to be the one to take him to his knees. And what a very interesting one she was. I'd like to say that it's no filter at least about things that she's feeling, and her innocence is written all over her, in her words and actions. All around was a great book. HEA.

Billie works at an art gallery and that's where she first lays eyes on Gage, she is shocked at how attracted and turned on she is by this stranger. Gage also feels the same attraction and is finding it really hard to believe that this is the woman he's been hired to kill. Can Gage protect her and earn her trust, he really hopes so cause she's it for him. An enjoyable short read with spice and suspense. 👌.

An instant love short story between Billie, who's a receptionist, and Gage, a hitman sent to kill Billie. I loved Gage as he's so attentive to the needs of Billie. He's protective, possessive, and obsessed with her. Billie was so immature and seems really dense. The story has suspense and steam. Find out why Gage was sent to take Billie out. Loved it.

Billie was a buddy author working in an art gallery. She was unwittingly drawn into the world of organised crime when a hit was put out on her! Gage was sent to kill her but one look and he knew something was right, she was his! As he fought to keep Billie safe he also had to convince her he was telling the truth. Danger, suspense, amazing chemistry and a wonderful HEA.

The author has given us a fast-paced, older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Gage and Billie and does not let go. The story keeps us turning the pages with instant connection, secrets, danger and steam.

This was a good book. I enjoyed the connection and chemistry between Billie and Gage even though Billie was smart to question it. Gage is willing to do anything to get and keep Billie but Billie and Gage's boss have other plans. These two have a bit of ups and downs but they do get a sweet HEA.

It may be a short in length but I found Gage & Billie story had it all - crime, instalove, age gap & action. Will Billie survive the hitmen coming after her & will Gage be there to protect her? What more could you ask for in a book whilst having a relaxing coffee?

This was a fun and steamy novella. Gage was so sweet and smitten with Billie. The back and forth was a bit frustrating but understandable. She barely knew Gage and didn't know if she could trust him. My only issue was the Daddy kink, just because its not my jam. But it didn't takeaway from the story.
I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and I liked that he fell for her first and was all in. She took some convincing to give her heart to him completely. Gage was all kinds of naughty and hot. Billie was kind of all over the place with how she was attracted to him but not sure committing to him was a good idea. I liked how the story ended. I recommend reading this book.
Another incredible read by the incredible Jenna Rose. I live all of Jenna's amazing characters and stories. Billie is so innocent and when she meets Gage he wants to keep and protect her. Their story was absolutely perfect and I adore their story.
His job is to kill her, when he meets her, he rethinks that. His job takes a 180, his new mission is to keep her safe. When he tells her that he will be back, after he is sure that she is safe.

This was a good story with a nice level of heat. It had more of a plot than I was expecting so pleasantly surprised. Just wished we’d gotten to know the characters more. They didn’t feel fully fleshed out.
