This was a great sequel. Amulet followed exclusively Lor’s POV so it was nice to have the additional POVs in this books as there is so much going on that she’s not aware of. So much happened in this book. It made Amulet feel like a mere pinch of something while this book was a whole meal.
If you love fantasy, this is a great story.

I’m curious to see Toby and Wesley’s development and where the stories go where they’re involved. I know Lor just got a whole heap of responsibility and Kai is likely the guy everyone is watching but there is just something about the vulnerability of both Toby and Wes that makes me want to know everything about them.

Can’t wait for the next book!
