About the author

From an early age Lola Faust's fantasies and reveries tilted towards the unusual and the eccentric. Though she entertained curious private journals, it wasn't until she entered the Paleontology program at the University of British Columbia that her romantic notions concerning dinosaurs took full flight.

While working towards her doctorate, Ms Faust began writing her signature saurian prose. Today she is employed by day at a leading university in her field, but maintains her anonymous and risque personality online.

I wasn't planning to read such a short book today, but I didn't have time for anything more. I was preoccupied addressing threats from Goodreads trolls against my family's safety and such this morning. So, that was a fun thing to wake up to. Another fantastic outing with dinosaurs and humans working together. And by working together, of course, I mean having frisky business with one another. Stego certainly rediscovered his groove with the help of our lead, Annabelle. She was as busty and lustful as one could hope for. The quality of the writing wasn't bad at all and, despite the content being so silly, the whole experience was fairly enjoyable. Just needed to be longer and more fleshed out. But the end result was still some high-grade dinosaur on sexy lady action. And that's all that really matters, isn't it?

I’m still waiting for the full Lord Bart book because he deserves more pages but until then I’ll happily read any of Lola’s dino porn. I guess it’s my thing now 🤣🙃🙌

This started out so wholesome and sweet. The lonely stego just wants a companion. And the nerdy geologist who never fit in just wanted to find a home. Then BOOM surprise pocket with not one but TWO special surprises. She pops off of him like a champagne cork (authors words not mine) when he ya know.

Of all the dinosaur porn books in this series (at least, of the ones I’ve read), How Stego Got His Groove Back must be the dumbest, at least in the sense of realism. Because this is dino porn, there’s no sense in seriously criticizing the logistics of human females having sexual intercourse with dinosaurs. That’s already ridiculous. What I’m talking about is in this novel, the beautiful woman is a geologist assigned to supervise a quarry with dinosaur workers. The description of all the special equipment and housing needed for these dinosaurs immediately makes me think that these poor dinos would be too expensive to hire. I mean, we’re in an era right now in which humans are too expensive for employers, what with our need for health care and paychecks and safety regulations. No way would dinosaurs be considered the less expensive option compared with humans and trucks/big equipment. These poor guys would be in the welfare line. Anyway.

So beautiful Annabella doesn’t relate to humans. Oh no! Like all beautiful, smart women, she thinks she is stupid and ugly and has no friends. But wait, now that she is surrounded by dinosaurs, she’s found the human touch she’s been so desperately seeking! And you know the rest. She makes friends with Stego, quickly climbs into his bed and is having screaming orgasms that no human man can give her. Yeah, yeah. Whatever. End of story.

There are two bonus stories: “Tyrannosaurus Sext” and “Mile High Pterodactyl Club.” The second was covered in my review of Triceratops and Bottoms. “Tyrannosaurus Sext” is a brief story of a dumb beautiful woman named Alice who has been sexting with an unknown man named Rex. Maybe she’s never described as beautiful but I’m assuming based on previous encounters with this author—dinosaurs only get hot for hot women. Alice is surprised when Rex is short for tyrannosaurus rex but that’s okay. She’s horny and his texts make her hot. She goes to his house/den and improbable human/dino sex ensues. The end.

At the end of this book is a section entitled “Dino Love Tips.” I think they are supposed to be funny, kind of a wink, wink, nudge, nudge of recognition that the entire book is silly, but I didn’t laugh. Whatever. I’m sure they will be helpful the next time I want to get it on with a horny dino.

These dino porn books are...well, I won’t read another one. They were a joke purchase (that didn’t go over well...oops!) but since I had them I figured I may as well read them and add them to my GR count.

I promise no dino porn books next year.

Shoutout to book club for passing this one along! Truly expanding my reading horizons in new ways this year 🤣
Much like Ice Planet Barbarians or any monster romance, you gotta know what you’re reading going into this book, and you have to accept the crazy. It’s an erotic dinosaur romance. And when you go in expecting it to be exactly that, it’s a fun read. Shakespeare it is not, but it doesn’t have to be. Much like Stego, it’s here for a good time.

4 generosity stars for wtf did I just read? Ya know, this isn’t the next great novel. But it’s fun AF. It’s a fast read and pretty freaking creative. I liked that it had a HFN and that strego listened to romance book on audio. The pacing for 18 pages was actually pretty prime.

Would I read it again? Probably not. But for the vibes alone it was a pretty hilarious Dino erotica 😂

This book wasn't too bad, but I do wish that it were at least 10 pages longer. I really like that we got a pretty in-depth background for the main character, considering that the book was only 18 pages long. I don't have too much else to say about it, but if you're looking for a quick read and want something with dinosaur porn, then this is your book.

This was the first time I had read this author's work. This story is a novella and therefore is very short and the relationship is not as in-depth as a full novel. However, I wish there would have been more storyline with Stego. There was more time spent on the setting of the story than there was between the main female character and the male character. There was a lot glossed over, like their initial meeting and after their first coupling. It's very obvious from the description that the anatomy and sex scenes were going to be a bit ridiculous as the whole idea of dino/human relationships is out there. That being said, while I understand this was a novella, I wish there would have been a bit more interaction between the two characters, more information about Stego, or some perspective from Stego.

I read all of Lola Faust's books this month! I'm a huge dinosaur fan and finally after putting it off decided to go down the rabbit whole and I'm so glad that I did. I feel like they are a must for monster smut and she does a fantastic job.

Each story has it's own unique characters a human girl with her swoon worthy dinosaur. I enjoyed them all each one is unique and very smutty. Highly recommend them. I hope we will see more Dino Smut from the lovely and very talented Lola Faust.

I read this “For research” for an Instagram post lol. It was… hmm exactly what it promised? Yes, Stego did get his groove back. It wasn’t the best short I’ve ever read, but not the worst either. Not a whole lot happens but boy do I love the cover 😍 my only beef with that is that the FMC several times, is mentioned as having glasses and brown curly hair. Not blond in any way 🙄
