Unfortunately, my first of this series didn't know back story. It didn't matter at all.
Except now, I want to go back and read prior books in the series . I really enjoyed the story and the plot. Great story, good characters !

Coral Celebration by Jan Moran is book 5 in the Summer Beach series. Summer Beach is turning 100 years old so they are getting ready for their centennial celebration. Marina, after extensive convincing, and her Sister, Kai are organizing the event. Marina will need to have help in her Coral Cafe to be able to find time for this event. Ginger, their Grandmother, reveals interesting details about a little known event, to Jack who is working on a secret news article. New relationships, rescued sea lions, and more make this another fun installation in this series. Enjoy.

Summer Beach is about to celebrate its 100th Anniversary. The town is working to organize a big celebration, but the person charged with figuring out most of the details isn’t doing her job.

Marina’s looking forward to her first wedding anniversary and celebrating her marriage to Jack. That, and business at the café is keeping her very busy. When the mayor reaches out and asks her to take over organizing the festivities, she really wants to say no, but her family steps in and offers to help. I’ll be honest, as in previous books in this series, Ginger is the highlight..

Jack’s busy, too. He’s working on a new story for his New York editor. There’s a connection to an older story he worked on, and he’s wary of his main source. He’s trying to keep on top of the story, one that deals with financial intrigue, while making time for Marina, his son Leo, and his work illustrating Ginger’s children’s books.

Marina’s daughter, Heather, is working at the café for the summer, before returning to school. She’s good friends with Marina’s new cook, Cruise. Then there’s the young, handsome aquatic veterinarian she meets by chance. There’s some hidden secrets here, too.

There’s a lot going on in Summer Beach. Life is tinged with a bit of mystery, a touch of romance, and a lot of dedicated work. This is a story about family, friendships, community coming together, and more than one surprise.

This is the penultimate book in this series. I’m looking forward to the next book, but I’ll be sad to see this series draw to an end.

This was a delightful and entertaining read. It can easily be read as a standalone. I highly recommend it.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author.. I thank her for their generosity, but it had no effect on this review. All opinions in this review reflect my true and honest reactions to reading this book.

I have read and/or listened to every book in the Coral Cottage series by Jan Moran. I love the Summer Beach location and all the characters and Coral Celebration was another book in this series that I thoroughly enjoyed reading.
There many things going on in Coral Celebration, most importantly was the Summer Beach centennial celebration and Marina takes a leadership role along with running her café and other responsibilities.
I also found the mystery behind a shady character that arrived in Summer Beach and the direction that the story went with it. I was hoping for a happy outcome, afraid that Ginger or Marina or the Coral Cottage might be in danger. That kept me reading feverishly, turning pages to be sure everyone survived the evil deed that Chaz was attempting. Thank goodness Chief Clarkson put a stop to it just in time!
And I loved the happy ending, I won’t give it away in this review, but it made me smile when I read it. This was another wonderful book by Jan Moran. I’ve read nearly every book she’s published and enjoyed every one of them, I’m a big fan!

Coral Celebration, the fifth book in The Coral Cottage at Summer Beach series, is my favorite one yet! Centered on the 100th anniversary of the city of Summer Beach, this book continues the journeys of Marina, owner and head chef of the Coral Café, her husband of one year journalist Jack, her sisters Kai and Brooke, grandmother Ginger, and Marina’s children, along with a few new characters. While this book could be read as a stand-alone, I strongly recommend starting with the first book in the series, Coral Cottage, and reading the series. What you’ll find is a great escape to a California beach town filled with interesting, multi-dimensional characters facing real-life situations (some challenging) while navigating new careers, new loves, and new friendships, while strengthening the familial ties that make life so much better. However, if this is the first book in the series you’re reading, don’t worry: Ms. Moran does an outstanding job of weaving in the main characters’ storylines from the other books (and there are even some cameos from her equally wonderful Seabreeze Inn series, also set in Summer Beach) so you can catch up quickly.

What I especially like is the way Ms. Moran writes about strong and compassionate women who help each other. Marina, who’s experienced more than her share of loss, continues to rise from the ashes like a phoenix, not only in her private life but also as a businesswoman and enthusiastic community member. I like that she’s nobody’s fool (and the descriptions of the foods she cooks sound delightful!). I’m eagerly looking forward to Coral Memories, the sixth and final book in this thoroughly enjoyable series, when it’s released next summer.

As a member of Jan Moran’s reader’s group, I received an advanced reader’s copy and am happy to provide this honest review.

Summer Beach is having it's 100th year celebration and the town is abuzz. Marina and her family are excited about the celebration but Marina is pretty firm she has no time to help organize the event. That is until the Mayor personally asks her and when her family volunteers to pitch in, well, she just can not say no. Even if it falls on her first wedding anniversary.

While the planning is underway, things are happening behind the scenes. Marian's daughter Heather seems to be quite chummy with the new chef Cruz, but when a handsome new aquatic veterinarian comes to town, Heather has a decision to make.

Jack is on his own hunt to write an article that could unravel a huge money laundering scheme but has to be very careful as he might just be putting not only his own family in danger, it could cause chaos for the entire community of Summer Beach. When secrets are uncovered, how will Marina and her family be affected? Can they still pull off the biggest celebration the town has seen?

Jan Moran brings her readers another delightful, mysterious new story in this fifth book in the Coral Cottage series. I loved visiting with Marina and her family and a few past characters from the previous books. If you are reading this as a stand a lone novel, do not fret as Ms. Moran does an excellent job of filling in the back stories. The whole series including this novel has everything you could want, family, friends, love and intrigue. I am already excited about the next and final book in the series! A huge thank you to Jan Moran for my advanced readers copy which I voluntarily read and reviewed. You are going to love this one friends!

"Coral Celebration" takes readers on a heartwarming journey into the small town of Summer Beach as it gears up for its 100th-anniversary celebration. This book, part of the Coral Cottage series, seamlessly weaves together family, friendships, romance, and a touch of mystery, creating a delightful and entertaining read.

The narrative revolves around Marina, who reluctantly takes charge of organizing the centennial festivities amid her bustling life—a first wedding anniversary with her husband Jack, managing a thriving café, and navigating the complexities of a blended family. The author skillfully introduces a myriad of characters, each dealing with their own secrets and challenges, adding layers of intrigue to the plot.

The story not only captures the essence of a tight-knit community coming together but also explores the dynamics of Marina's family and their individual journeys. Jack, grappling with a potentially dangerous assignment and a past connection, adds a layer of suspense and depth to the narrative. The author masterfully ties up loose ends from previous books in the series, making it a satisfying read for long-time fans.

The characters are well-developed and relatable, and the author's knack for blending humor, warmth, and a hint of romance makes the book thoroughly enjoyable.

I received an advance copy of the book. All opinions expressed here are my own and reflect the genuine enjoyment of this delightful and well-crafted novel. "Coral Celebration" is highly recommended for anyone seeking a heartwarming story about love, family, and community.

"Grande festa a Summer Beach " di Jan Moran
Pagg. 256

⚠️ ATTENZIONE SPOILER ⚠️

Coral Celebration is such a great addition to this series. Jan Moran, as always, spins a wonderful story filled with small town, family, friends, and found family that leaves readers with all the feels and a longing for the next book in the series.

Summer Beach has all my favorite things about small towns ~ the celebrations, the friends that have known you seemingly forever, and the closeness that those in a small town seem to have. Of course, no small town is complete without a few rivalries and that person or two who take pleasure in gossip, but with enough good around, that can be overlooked.

I love that this series is more women's fiction than pure romance because I love how the author explores friendships and so many of the things we all experience in our day-to-day life. Ms. Moran's descriptions are so well done you feel as if you were actually there and many of the characters jump off the page so convincingly that I wouldn't be surprised to bump into them on the street.

Treat yourself today and pick up a book in this series, if you haven't already. You'll be happy you did! Thank you to the author and publisher for an ARC at my request. All thoughts are my own and happily given.

Coral Celebrations the 5th book in Jan Moran’s Coral Cottage Series, this time we are back in Summer Beach for the town’s 100th birthday celebration. While this book is part of a series, the Author does a fantastic job of breathing the past parts of the characters stories into this small town set gem, so it could be read as a stand alone. What I do promise is if Coral Celebrations is your first read of the series it’s going to leave you wanting to go back and start at the beginning with Coral Cottage, but don’t stop there as characters from Jan Moran’s Seabreeze Inn series are also a small part of the Coral Cottage series as well. You will want to get to know all of the characters better, they are easy to love and their strong personalities draw you right in. I love a good book with a strong female main character and this book delivers with Marina, and her sisters Kai and Brooke along with the rest of their family and friends as they take on planning the Summer Beach Birthday Bash. I can’t wait until their story concludes this coming Summer with the 6th and Final book, Coral Memories.

Well Jan, you have done it again. When I read your books, I feel like I am coming home for a reunion to see all of my friends and family. We are celebrating 100 years for Summer Beach and the town is getting ready for the big celebration. And of course, we have to think of the past and bring back forgotten memories and make new ones.

Jack is working on a story from his past that could potentially put everyone in harm's way. Ginger brings down a box with all sorts of memorabilia and her mother had saved an old newspaper article that will help in the investigation.

Marina is super busy with the cafe, food truck and her kids. Your kids grow older, but you still worry and wonder what they are up too. Jack and Marina have an anniversary coming up and what do they plan for that? Now the mayor on top of everything else has asked her to be in charge of the Centennial Celebration. Will everything come off without any problems or anyone getting hurt?

I am a member of Jan Moran's ARC team, so I got a copy of this book in advance. I highly recommend this book to you all. You will not regret your choice with any of Jan's books.

This is book five in The Summer Beach : Coral Cottage series and it continues Marina’s story. The Summer Beach are having there 100 years celebration and Marina is asked to take on the running of it as the person who was in charge for some reason wasn’t doing what they were supposed to be doing which was causing big problems but with Marina being so busy her family has jumped in to help her. Jack is working on a new story for his editor and also hoping that it doesn’t put his family and Summer Beach in danger but he is also still doing the illustrations for Ginger’s children’s books while trying to spend time with Marina and his son Leo but Jack seems to be burning the candle at both ends which could cause major complications along the way. Marina’s daughter Heather is helping at the cafe for the summer before returning to school but she also has her own problems and decisions to make which just added to the family drama. This book is about family, friends, suspense, drama, secrets, intrigue, friendships and mysteries that will have you turning the pages and unable to put this book down and I can’t wait to read the final book in this amazing series.

.“We’ve been too busy looking ahead to spend time looking back."

With a new husband, a blended family and the Cafe and Food Truck,Marina's life is coming together in many marvelous ways. She's hired Cruise to help at the Cafe, her daughter Heather is also helping and beginning to come out of her shell. And, big things are coming to Summer Beach!

The town is celebrating it's centennial and this story focuses on the preparations as well as tying up some past kind of loose ends. Jack gets caught up in a past story and how it might affect things now. He gets a lead that might make a new career in journalism but how could it affect his new life?

When the mayor approaches Marina to head the floundering Centennial Committee she's torn about doing it. Can she do it and everything else?

And how about the rest of her family? One sister is trying to get pregnant while the other is still struggling with her kids and to have her own life?

And why in heaven's name is there a box of tests in the bathroom?

With the addition of a wonderful recipe Jan Moran has given us a great read and addition to the Summer Beach saga. Highly Recommended 5/5

Summer Beach is planning their Centennial Celebration, the highlight of the summer. Rhoda is the chairperson and has it under control, or does she? Heather is trying to figure out where life is taking her but is keeping big secrets, or is she? Jack and Marina are getting ready to celebrate their first anniversary and they have big plans, or do they? Jack is also working on a dangerous story that could affect family and Ginger is definitely not telling what she knows.

This is another enjoyable read about the Summer Beach crew. There is just the right amount of drama, intrigue and romance to keep you reading. This is a continuing story and in each book you get to know the characters a little better. The families are woven together and are so reminiscent of small towns across America. Enjoy the read.

I received an ARC of this book and I’m happy to always leave a review on Jan Moran’s books.

Summer beach is turning 100! It is time to celebrate. Somebody has to take charge. Marina has a first wedding anniversary coming up, has a husband working on a mysterious possibly dangerous assignment a
thriving cafe to run, has just fired her chef, has a young stepson and 2 adult children to worry about, so, she is the logical choice.

But this Summer Beach, family and friends jump in to help.
But, her husband is being secretive, her daughter is being secretive, her fired chef is being secretive. So many secrets.

As always, Jan Moran has given us a funny, moving, warm and delightful new book in the Coral Cottage series. This book could be a stand alone. But I recommend you start with the first book and follow the series

Preparations are underway for the centennial of the town of Summer Beach. Jack and Marina will be celebrating their first anniversary and she is busy with the planning of the festival. It should be a happy time, but a plot is forming to disrupt the festivities. Jack needs to be on guard to make sure nothing disrupts this celebration or anyone in his family. There are also quite a few good surprises happening. This feel good book shows why Jan Moran is a gifted writer from historical fiction books to sweet romance, she writes stories with family. relationships, romance and a little suspense. Books we can all enjoy. Thank you to the author of this delightful book. These comments and review are my honest opinion.

It is always so nice to go back and visit your old friends on Summer Beach, at this point the characters of the books feel like that, old friends, this time we are back in the lives of Marina, Jack and their family.
The occasion is the centennial celebration of Summer Beach where Marina has been pushed to be in charge of it, of course there is drama in the preparations but also in the family, which makes the book so real, because what is life if not a mix of happy moments and drama?
This intergenerational story will warm your heart and make you believe that when you are in a happy whole family nothing is more important in life.
Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Great continuation of the story

Coral Celebration is the fifth book in the Summer Beach: Coral Cottage series. I have enjoyed reading this sweet and delightful series and this book just continues that for me. The series centers around Marina Moore and her sister who are running Summer Beach. Each book unfolds with family drama, romance, love, trouble, and a lot of interesting neighbors and people around town that they become entwined with . A very lovely read and a great get-away if you can't afford a holiday at the beach.

Coral Celebration is the first book I have read which was written by Jan Moran but it will not be the last as I plan to start the first book of the Coral Cottage Series tonight. The fifth book is focused on the family as they plan and prepare for the 100th year celebration of the Summer Beach town. This enjoyable book has delightful characters (especially Ginger), a sense of family and community kinship, secrets, intrigue, drama, and romance. I highly recommend reading this book.

Rather than summarizing the plot, here is my take on this book! It is the story of multi-generational interactions and the history of this quaint beach town. It has just enough drama for an enjoyable read. The twist involving Jack, Ginger, Cruise and the grand home on the ridge add some tension. Yet, read to the end to enjoy a big sigh! Now I need to go back and read the prior Coral books as my focus has been on Ivy and Bennett at The Seabreeze Inn!

This book is the next book in the Coral Cottage series. Summer Beach is getting ready for its 100th anniversary and the person in charge is not doing her job. Marina is asked to take over even though she feels like she is too busy. This is a continuation of Jack and Marina’s relationship as well as their family.

This was another fun romp in Summer Beach! I love that the characters appear in each others' stories. There were a bit too many subplots for my preference, but I see how they all intertwined. I usually finish a book in one sitting. This one I put down a couple of times due to some frustration with the plot at that time. However, it was a lot of fun and ended well!.

In my eyes, Jan Moran can do not wrong with her different series! The Coral Beach series is so engrossing. I feel like I know all of the characters and can picture everything about this town and locations. Celebration is such a perfect word for this book. I do not want to give any spoilers so I will just say that I absolutely recommend this book and all other in the series and please do not feel that you need to be on the beach while reading- you will be transported there!

Coral Celebration,
is another wonderful book in
Summer Beach: Coral Cottage series.
It's a heartwarming,
moving & intriguing story.
Summer Beach, is planning a
big 100 year celebration for
the town. The original chairperson dropped the ball.
The planning landed in the one person who has enough going on.
Together with family & friends,
they plan the best Centennial.
Jack, meets with someone from his previous job. Luckily he doesn't trust the person & questions the guy's motive.
I truly enjoyed reading it!

Everyone is busy in Coral Beach as they prepare for their Centennial celebration. Everyday life must go on, and the author does a beautiful job keeping us right there in the middle of it all, in such a lovely setting. Jan Morgan’s story-telling is clean, it’s real, and it draws you in like an old friend.
