This is a very interesting and important subject, and I respect the author for tackling the subject, from both a personal and professional point of view. That being said, I thought that the book could have benefitted from some additional editing. For example, I thought the correspondence from her father was perhaps too extensive, and could have been minimized. Additional content from specialists in the treatment field may have helped to provide additional understanding of this condition.

Interesting to delve into the mind of a convicted pedophile, but was strange to have an author trying to have the audience feel sympathy for someone who did something so awful. Almost speaking down on the mother of the victim saying how she wished she would not come to hearings and show mercy.
