Excellent Lovecraftian horror

5 star is probably too much but I enjoyed it very much. Well written mythos horror with good protagonists. Just about the right balance of ruthless attitude and willingness to help.

I really enjoyed The Other: Encounters With The Cthulhu Mythos, but this second series is fantastic. I did not know what to expect considering how the first series ended, and was definitely not optimistic the second series would appeal to me; however, I could not have been more wrong. I was hooked by chapter 2 and cannot wait to see where this story leads in future books.
