WINTER'S WALTZ
The Marquess of Sundenbury needs to stay out of trouble. Genevieve Winter needs a favor. What could go wrong? Only everything…

Sundenbury has a gambling problem. Genevieve has a Sundenbury problem. Namely, she has been tasked with keeping an eye on the scandalous lord. Gen has plans to open a ladies’ gaming establishment, and while she’s saddled with London’s biggest ne’er do well, he has to make himself useful. In exchange for her aid, the marquess must help her gain the ladylike polish she requires to lure in her lucrative clientele.

Max, Marquess of Sundenbury, is the undisputed black sheep of his family. With his gambling debts mounting and a ducal father who has cut off the purse strings, he needs to reform his reputation and find a wealthy bride. His plan? Take a month away from society, give the wagging tongues time to settle down, then reemerge a changed man, and all that folderol.

But he never bargained for the hellion in breeches who amazes him with her sharp wit, sharper tongue, and undeniable beauty. Gen wants nothing to do with a handsome scoundrel like Max, no matter how sinful his kisses or tempting his embrace. An independent lady gaming hell owner and a penniless lord who can’t stay away from the hazard table could not be more wrong for each other.

Or mayhap, just mayhap, they could not be more right.

WINTER'S WIDOW
Demon Winter is an unabashed rogue. What better way to find more women to warm his bed than helping his sister Genevieve with her ladies’ gaming establishment? It’s the perfect arrangement. Until a duchess he can’t resist walks through the doors and everything changes.

Mirabel, the widowed Duchess of Stanhope, has rigidly adhered to propriety her entire life, and all it garnered her was a miserable marriage to a cruel man. With her time of mourning over, she is on a mission to be wicked.

Fortunately, the sinfully handsome, wildly unsuitable Demon Winter has offered to aid her in her quest. He’s perfect for the task. Demon is a silver-tongued rakehell ten years her junior who was born in the rookeries. There is absolutely no chance Mirabel will fall in love with him. None.

A lady who has never broken the rules is about to break every one of them. But Demon Winter? He just may break her heart.

WINTER'S WARRIOR
Gavin Winter has earned his reputation as one of the best prizefighters in England the hard way: using his fists and sheer determination. With the biggest bout of his career approaching, Gavin will do anything to win.

Until he’s attacked and wakes with no memory of who he is.

When Caro Sutton finds a bleeding man outside her family’s gaming hell, she has no idea the felled giant is the bareknuckle champion. She nurses him back to health, charmed by the handsome gentleman who has no recollection of what happened to him or what his name is.

After she discovers his true identity, Caro is faced with a difficult choice. Will deceit, danger, and warring families prove too much to overcome? Or will their love be strong enough to unite the Winters and the Suttons?

I truly, honestly, completely wish I could give this book more than 5 stars!!! I absolutely, I mean ABSOLUTELY, loved it!!! 😍

This story was increasingly enticing to the point where I could not put it down. I wanted- for lack of a better word- more. I cannot stress how much this novel deserves a high rating because it was deliciously good.

WINTER'S WALTZ - Max, the Marquess of Sundenbury, heir to the Duke of Linross, is a rake, spoiled son with money, and an obsessed gambler who lost more money that he had at a gaming hell & although his ten-thousand-pound debt of paid, his father, the duke, cut off all his funds. His sisters had come up with a plan to keep him out of trouble and in turn he could do a favor for their sister-in-law by teaching her some polish to interact with the fine ladies of society. Sounds simple but oh, how wrong that assumption would be. Genevieve Winter is the true definition of a hoyden - she prefers comfortable breeches, shirt, cravat, & boots rather than stays & gowns. She has a mouth that would put a sailor to shame. She is part of the bastard side of the Winter family & grew up on the East End with her brothers - the brothers own a gaming hell & Gen is opening one just for women but she needs to get her manners in order so she can lure the high society, rich ladies in to gamble at her establishment. Max & Gen are such opposites - their bantering, arguing, Gen's physical abuse of Max is hilarious & the only thing better than this was their undeniable lust for each other - that turned into such romance and love. This story was so much fun as it never entered a ballroom, but the entire thing took place on the East End. Gen was such a strong female with humor, mental & physical toughness & she did have a soft side. Max, oh Max, what a wastrel but he had such a good heart & my, those dimples! Finally, Arthur, Gen's three-legged dog she rescued after he was struck by a carriage - he was loving, protective & thanks to Max, he loved sausages. I highly recommend this book & the entire series - if you like steamy romance that surrounds one large extended family, this is for you. I have become so attached to the Legitimate & Illegitimate Winters & I hate that the series is close to ending.

WINTER'S WIDOW - First of all, let me say this book was well written & researched - whether it be the happenings in a gaming hell on the East Side or the Ballrooms in London's high society. Damian/Demon, runs Lady Fortune, a gaming house for ladies only, for his sister. He is a handsome rogue, one of the Wicked Winter bastards, but living the life he is enjoying with everything running smoothly. Until, she entered his life - a widow, ten years older than his with three small children.

Mirabel, Duchess of Stanhope, has mourned her dead husband for the required year, a husband she was forced to marry for the good of the families. Her younger sister has encouraged her to take a lover since her husband only bedded her to get the required male heirs but lived with his mistress.

Mirabel goes to Lady Fortune & speaks with Damian/Demon - she is masked, as all of the lady's who attend are & they are known only as numbers. She tells him she is looking for a lover, Damian is intrigued by her & with many things happening, it begins a love story for the ages. I laughed, I sighed, I fanned myself, I cried & at the end I took a deep breath & felt so happy for their love, family & happiness. Yes, this is steamy but it is such a great story!

WINTER'S WARRIOR - This final installment of The Wicked Winters takes us into the life of the last illegitimate member of the Winter Family - Gavin Winter. Gavin Winter grew up in the East End of London & you had to be able to take care of yourself & your family. The Winter siblings (not by blood but chosen) succeeded in becoming one of two East End family crime leaders - the other being the Suttons. One night someone tries to kill Gavin & he wakes up beaten, shot, no memory of who he is, where he is & what happened to him.

Caro Sutton is a healer in the Sutton group of siblings - something needed when your brothers have fought their way to lead their territory in the East End. She is beautiful, intelligent & when not mending someone from their injuries or sickness, she spends her time making ointment, tinctures etc. One night she steps out of the Suttons Gambling Hell & finds a man barely alive, she has the guards carry him to her bedchamber & begins trying to save his life but even in his beaten & bloody state, she recognizes Gavin Winter. After four days of being unconscious to delirious from fever, the first thing Gavin sees in the angel tending to him. Over time the two build a friendship - Gavin has not remembered anything & Caro's brother Jasper is the only other one that knows Gavin is here & he knows who he is - their sworn East End enemy -The Winters. The lies, deceit, the building of a friendship & growing romance culminate is truths being found out, Gavin turning his back on Caro for not telling him who he was or contacting his family - but things are not always as they seem to be & the exciting & wonderful ending will leave you smiling. I highly recommend this entire series - although these can be read as standalones, I recommend reading them in series order to get to know the reoccurring members of the families
