Ann and Rhonda continue to deal with guests at The Beach House Hotel on the Gulf Coast of Florida, including Bobby “Bugs” Bailey, a star player in the NFL. At the Vice-President’s suggestion, Bobby’s coach has sent him there to work to help adjust his behavior after Bobby’s life of fame gets out of control. There’s no one better to handle someone like that then soft-spoken Ann and outrageous Rhonda, who declares it’s time for Bobby to wake up and smell the coffee. Tina Marks, the movie star Ann and Rhonda helped earlier, arrives with her two children and, Sydney Harris, her nanny who Tina has taken in after a bad family situation. Sydney and Bobby strike up a friendship, but it isn’t until one of the children is kidnapped that Bobby proves the kind of man he wants to be, and Ann and Rhonda are put to the biggest test of their lives. Another of Judith Keim’s series books celebrating love and families, strong women meeting challenges, and clean women’s fiction with a touch of romance—beach reads for all ages with a touch of humor, satisfying twists, and happy endings
Judith Keim, A USA Today Best Selling Author, is a hybrid author who both has a publisher and self-publishes. Ms. Keim writes heart-warming novels about women who face unexpected challenges, meet them with strength, and find love and happiness along the way, stories with heart. Her best-selling books are based, in part, on many of the places she's lived or visited and on the interesting people that she's met, creating believable characters and realistic settings her many loyal readers love.
She enjoyed her childhood and young-adult years in Elmira, New York, and now makes her home in Boise, Idaho, with her husband and their two dachshunds, Kacy and Wally, and other members of her family.
While growing up, she was drawn to the idea of writing stories from a young age. Books were always present, being read, ready to go back to the library, or about to be discovered. All in her family shared information from the books in general conversation, giving them a wealth of knowledge and vivid imaginations.
Ms. Keim loves to hear from her readers and appreciates their enthusiasm for her stories.
This book takes us back to the Beach House Hotel on the Gulf Coast of Florida where best friends Ann and Rhonda work hard to keep their guests at the hotel happy and anxious to return again. They are beginning to wonder how long they can keep their current schedules at the hotel -- both have daughters and small grandchildren plus husbands that they want to spend more time with. They agree to cut back a little bit but their plan doesn't last for long because of their love of the hotel and their desire for its continued success.
There are several interrelated side plots in this story
-Bobby, A star NFL player with a major attitude has been sent by his coach to work at the hotel to learn to get along with people. Ann and Rhonda work to find a place that he can learn more about people and be a kinder person. -Movie star Tina returns to the hotel with her two children. This time she brings a nanny, Sydney who impresses Ann and Rhonda and soon catches the eye of the NFL player with the attitude. A horrific event gives Bobby chance to become the man he needs to be.
In this book. we get another fantastic story of love and family and strong women meeting challenges. Judith Keim is an author that her readers can always be assured that they'll get a fantastic story with a happy ending.
Another good read about the Beach House crew. It's part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. I have read several other books in the series and it still took me a few minutes to acclimate to who was who, so don't worry, is not a game changer. This one is a slow burn book and it was nearly 70% before there was significant action. A little disappointed that one of the characters wasn't fleshed out more after she extended her stay and a little more about the perpetrators of the event and how hat occurred,so seemed a little rushed that those were not expounded upon as she might have done in the past. Overall, A good slow moving read. Enjoy! I was provided an advanced reader copy at !y request and was under no obligation to provide a review. The opinions expressed are my own. Many thanks to the author for allowing me to read this book.
It felt so good to be back in sunny Fla relaxing on the beach with my morning cup of coffee.. I wish.. but it was nice to be at least back in the pages of this delightful book catching up with Anne and Rhonda still busy with running their hotel and seeing their grand babies. There are even more changes happening with weddings, a health scare, and an almost tragic occurrence to one of their guests. And when is Brock going to get his comeuppance?? Wish we didn’t have to wait so long for the next book in this wonderful series! I received an arc from the author and this review is my opinion
I have read all of the books in the Beach House series and I have to say that this one was my least favorite. The story did not progress fast enough and I had trouble connecting with the characters … though I knew so many of them from previous books. I know that part of my low rating is that this is a romance book and that is so NOT my favorite genre. But even given that, I can usually find things to appreciate in a book. Unfortunately, this one left much to be desired.
Thank you to NetGalley and Wild Quail Publishing for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
Rhonda and Ann are the perfect partners and best friends. I love ALL of The Beach House Hotel books and this one drew me in right from the start. Not only do I love the main characters but have fallen in love with their families and their hotel family. This is another page turner and I’m ready to sit and have coffee and at least one of Consuela’s famous cinnamon rolls while listening to the advice of two very wise women.
Life Goes on at The Beach House Hotel … and sometimes it’s life and death
The Beach House Hotel has made quite a name for itself. Attracting some high and mighty people with strong personalities… and problems, has become commonplace. It seems it has become known for helping those ‘problem’ guests. No snob appeal allowed, not at The Beach House Hotel.
And that was a problem for Bobby ‘Bugs’ Bailey. The NFL star had allowed fame and fortune go to his head. He needed an attitude adjustment and his coach knew just what to do … send him to The Beach House Hotel. Let him experience life in the real world once again. A little manual labor never hurt anyone.
And yes, Bobby ‘Bugs’ Bailey plays a role in this story but he isn’t the main story. Everyday life at the hotel, especially with owners Anne and Rhonda, is the major focus. If you’ve read past books in this series, you know Anne and Rhonda never forgot their roots and learned about life though the school of hard knocks. This book, once again, has Anne and Rhonda taking on challenges, facing off with old foes and dealing with a couple life and death situations.
🤔 OBSERVATIONS:
✒︎ This is a slow burn storyline that deals with everyday life at the hotel. Not a lot of angst until later in the book where a terrifying situation involving the kidnapping of a small boy takes place.
✒︎ Didn’t understand Rhonda’s reaction to having a biopsy. Rhonda never struck me as a fearful woman but here she has herself six feet under. (I’m speaking from personal knowledge.)
✒︎ I thought this was going to be more about the NFL player. What little was there, I enjoyed and look forward to more. I’m hoping for a followup about Bobby ‘Bugs’ Bailey and his relationship with Sydney. She has a story to tell also and melding those two together would make for a good read. Who doesn’t love a good sports romance?.

Coffee at the Beach House Hotel is Judith Keim’s 7th book in The Beach House Hotel series set off the Gulf Coast of Florida. The Beach House Hotel is an upscale hotel known for its beautiful rooms, beach, and above all privacy of its guests. Many famous people have stayed at the hotel knowing their stay will remain a secret.
I love the main characters Ann and Rhonda who own The Beach House Hotel. They are fun and truly opposites in personality. Ann is quiet and well spoken, and Rhonda is robust and basically has no filter between her brain and her mouth, but I love her! In this story Rhonda has a health scare which leaves Rhonda and Ann planning to make changes in their lives to give them more time to relax and spend time with their husbands, children, and grandchildren. Well, maybe once their expansion project is complete and Brock Goodwin (their arch nemesis) is out of their hair!
At another personal request of the Vice President of the U.S. Ann and Rhonda are asked to let someone come stay at the hotel for the summer and work alongside some of their hardworking staff. This is where we meet Bobby “Bugs” Bailey, a star NFL player who is teetering at the precipice of his career. He has gotten too big for his britches (as my Grammy would have said) and needs a major attitude adjustment according to his coach. It’s either come back down to earth with the rest of us and learn some grace and humility for those around him or lose his career!
A past character, Tina Marks (a famous actress) returns to the hotel with her two children and her live-in nanny Sydney. What starts out as a wonderful vacation quickly turns into a parent’s worst nightmare!
If you love strong women, sweet romance and women’s fiction, this is the book for you! I could hardly put it down! Since I am not one to ruin the story by retelling it, I will just leave it there. Coffee at the Beach House Hotel was an excellent, fast read for me, and I highly recommend it!
The Beach House Hotel is a luxury hotel known for great service, the wonderful staff, wonderful tasty food, and for the privacy. The owners, Ann and Rhonda love running it day to day. What’s not to love since it’s in the Gulf Coast of Florida. The Vice-President of the US ask them for favor. They can’t tell her no. She’s sent several guest their way. So when asked to take in a NFL star player in they agreed. His name is Bobby, “Bugs” Bailey. He’ll work for them because his coach asked for that. He needs an attitude adjustment and to humble himself. Not that Bobby is happy. Will he listen and learn from the staff? Will he blow his career? Movie star Tina Marks returns with her family and their nanny, Sydney who Tina took in because she was in a terrible family situation. It reminded Tina of her own terrible family life. Sydney loves her new family. When she meets Bobby she has no idea who he is. They start a friendship and that really helps Bobby. Someone that likes him for himself and not his money or fame. She’s really good for him. Will Bobby succeed? Will he mess up with Ann and Rhonda? What will Sydney think when she finds out that he’s famous and rich? What could go wrong? A wedding and their wedding party, a horrible neighbor who always causes them trouble, the guest who stay there, some things just don’t go as planned. There’s also a twist in the story. If you love a little mystery and good strong characters, this book is for you. The characters are always wonderful. Judith Keim always makes you feel like your right there with them. Worth the read. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily
I've been reading this author for a few years now, and I always look forward to her new books. I found this a particular delight, enjoying revisiting Ann, Rhonda, and their friends and family at and around The Beach House Hotel. While every book showcases different guests and shares the continuing Story of the female owners of the hotel and their families, each book simply feels like a continuation of the next, as we become privy to the lives of these women and those who enter their lives, even if only for a short time. It's a comfortable place to hang out and the perfect read when you simply want to escape for a while. Women's fiction is overrun with stories about ladies running quaint little seaside inns, but this book is a bit of a departure. Instead, The Beach House Hotel is a high-end getaway, so the clientele is of the upper echelons of society, like the featured bad-boy football player needing to redeem himself in this story and the wedding of a governor's daughter taking place on the grounds. Yet, the two ladies at the heart of the story are very down to earth, perfect opposites and complements of each other. I look forward to more trips to visit these wonderful ladies and those they give top-shelf service to along the way.
I received a free digital copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
So this is book 7 of the Beach House Hotel and if you have not read the others in this series I totally recommend that you do so. As we started with book 1 we began to meet the different characters who were involved in the Hotel itself. The owners Anne and Rhonda met and through a series of events they became partners owning the property. Well we have traveled with them through the adventures they have had, the people they have provided services for, the people who have stayed at their hotel, the people who have become more than guests but have joined up with the hotel working in different avenues and brought new people into the inner circle. These books and Judith Keim have brought you into the inner circle too and each book you read you will feel like it is that time again in your life for you to join the family reunion. Characters are at the reunion and you get to meet spouses, children, grandchildren, uncles and aunts and all sorts of people whom you either love or would prefer they never attended another event. So, if you are taking a vacation this summer or if you vacation consists of finding a comfortable chair with a glass of wine and the phone off make sure you get this series and delve into the best vacation of your life.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. I hate that I am so late to this party. This book is amazing. This book had so much going on until the very end. Readers will be panting with all the drama and activity that goes on. I can't wait to read the previous books in this series. I don't know how you get that much in one book but Ms. Keim does it with ease.
If you have read the previous books in this series, you know this but for people like me buckle in. Rhonda Grayson and Ann Sanders are co-owners of the Beach House Hotel. They have made a name for their hotel by being discreet. A lot of well-known people stay there for help when they need to get away from their life in the spotlight. Bobby "Bugs" Bailey is up next. This superstar athlete was sent to the hotel to get a handle on his attitude and ego. This is his last stop to get a grip before the team drops him. Bobby is a football player not a gardener or kitchen staff and he lets the other staff at the hotel know it.
On top of Bobby being at the hotel, they have Tina Marks coming in with her family to relax. Tina was in Bobby's shoes before and now the hotel is like her home. She is part of the family. Sydney, her new nanny, quickly becomes part of the family as well. Bobby and Sydney strike up an easy friendship that is quickly becoming more.
Did I forget to mention Rhonda is also a self-proclaimed matchmaker? She has he eyes set on an older couple and Ann is trying her best to stay out of it. The things that happen when you through in Ann and Rhonda's kids, grandkids and spouses will have readers laughing and crying.
This book has it all. Love, family, fun, and danger. Yes, danger. I said it before. I don't know how Judith does it but readers will go from one situation to another with ease. I can't wait to read the other books in this series.
Coffee at the Beach House Hotel is a wonderful continuation of the series even though this is only the third one I've read. Ann and Rhonda are co-owners of the Beach House Hotel in Florida. Set on the water their hotel is known for its privacy, good food, service, wonderful events and accommodations. The staff works well together to give it a gold star reputation.
The characters have a depth to them and I enjoyed catching up with ones I've met before as well as getting to know new characters that are now part of their hotel family. Ann and Rhonda are caring and go above and beyond no matter what they do or what they are up against. There's a nosy neighbor, some tears, a crime committed, angst, anger, fear, lots of family and friends, romance and love. There was closure and a happily ever or two in the offing and I can't wait for the next book to see what they are up to next.
Ms. Keim is a go-to reader for me. I look forward to reading more of her books, not only in this series, and many have been added to my always growing TBR pile.
I rated this book 4.5 stars but rounded to 5 stars here and on other sites.

The Beach House Hotel Series: Ms. Keim writes stories filled with friends, family, romance and community. Well written with good characters and interesting story lines make it easy to get immersed in all her books. Source: My Kindle library.
Breakfast at The Beach House Hotel, #1 - An wonderful start to a great new series. Friendships and romances come from unexpected sources. Rhonda is a trip, I love her. Ann can hold her own, too. There's a small amount of vulgar language and a bit of non-explicit sex, which I personally could have done without, but there's plenty of fun, discoveries, battles and love. 5*
Coffee at The Beach House Hotel, #7 - About eight years have passed since Breakfast ended. I missed a lot of happenings not reading the previous books but this was still an interesting story with a few new characters and a bit of drama. 4*
High Tea The Beach House Hotel, #8 - More of a lighter vein compared to Coffee but still interesting and entertaining. 5* Source: Booksprout. The Beach House Hotel Series.
Another delightful volume in the Beach House Hotel series! Ann and Rhonda continue the expansion of their Beach House Hotel, hosting one-of-a-kind weddings, and treating each of their guests to a getaway experience. Their nemesis, nosy neighbor Brock, continues his vendetta against the women and their property. The story includes all the family members this reader has come to love, some new faces that are subject to Rhonda’s matchmaking attempts, and some unhappy patrons that put Ann’s and Rhonda’s patience to the test. An unexpected encounter beachside causes a life-and-death situation, that brings everyone together in support and assistance. The Beach House Hotel series is a wonderful escape…highly recommended! I want to pack up and head over to the Gulf - and I live in Florida! I received an ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.
I loved everything about this story. Rhonda and Ann are the owners of this hotel and run it very smoothly. They are learning to relax the reins a little as they have hired competent help. We got to visit with Ann, Vaughn and Robbie. Robbie is so cute and growing up. I loved the part of about the puppy. So cute. Lots of babies in this story. 3 at a time? Yikes! One of the things I like in Judith Keim's books is that there is sex, but she doesn't describe it in detail. It's behind closed doors, but you know these couples love each other. There was some romance, some drama and a close look at an important medical issue. Brock was there and trying to cause trouble, but they got a little even with him. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. He just lives to cause trouble.

This book is another great addition to the Beach House Hotel series. Ann and Rhonda, the owners of the inn, are a hoot to read about. They are complete opposites, but have a great working relationship. They get themselves into many interesting situations but always come out on top. The cast of characters who come to the inn throughout each book bring with them their own challenges, but the proprietors always find a way to get through to the guests and help them through their individual situations. Ms Keim has a gift for making the characters come to life, and you will find yourself cheering them on. They are well developed and you feel like you know each character personally by the end of the book. A great summer read...not only this book but the entire series! I was provided an advanced reader copy for my unbiased review. Joan S.
Thank you NetGalley, Judith Keim and Wild Quail Publishing for the ARC of Coffee At The Beach House Hotel. This is my personal review.
Ann and Rhonda run The Beach House Hotel on the Gulf Coast of Florida. They cater to many different types of guests and each one is always given the treatment as every guest that stays there. This is another amazing book by the author. She writes so the characters all feel like someone I want to meet. The stories revolve around friends and family and each book in the series has a bit of everything in it. The connection the main women Ann and Rhonda has with the other characters is perfect. Every time I start reading a book by Judith Keim the rest of the world drifts away until I have finished reading the last word in the book.
Once again we return to an old favorite stomping ground in Coffee At The Beach House Hotel by Judity Keim. Ann and Rhonda have worked hard for years to make their hotel a happy and inviting place for all their guests. In this book we are introduced to Bobby an NFL football player with a attitude, that is sent there to help him realize that the world doesn't revolve around him. And we also are reintroduced to many people that we have met over the years. As with all this author's book we fall in love with the characters. I would recommend this book to everyone.
I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher, and I am leaving my review voluntarily and all opinions expressed here are my own.
Feel-good women's fiction is a genre that Keim does exceedingly well. Coffee At The Beach House Hotel has everything. Romance, mystery, suspense, and a dose of redemption too.
You'll love the recurring characters, but you'll also love the new characters introduced for this volume. There are enough twists to keep you turning pages and several moments where you'll not be able to put the book down. A great read for a summer afternoon by the beach!
[I was fortunate to receive an Advance Reader Copy of the book from the author through Booksprout, with no obligation to review. The opinions expressed herein are given freely and are entirely my own.].

The Beach House Hotel series will make you want take a trip to the Florida coast and meet Rhonda and Ann. I have been inspired throughout this series. Each book has been heartwarming and I have thoroughly enjoyed “meeting” the characters. I especially enjoy that besides the main character, many of the same people re-appear throughout the books. They are all believable and relatable. Judith Keim is one of my favorite authors. She has such a special gift of story telling to share with her readers. I have laughed and cried with the characters. It may sound silly to some, but it means a lot to me to be able to take a “visit” to The Beach House Hotel! Happy reading!
Each new Beach House novel is like reuniting with family after a long vacation. Ann and Rhonda own and manage the Beach House Hotel and their guests are treated like family. These women have overcome adversity in their lives and want to make sure that everyone else gets a similar happy ever after. And while these books are sweet, there is plenty of action to keep the reader interested and there were some tense moments.
while this book can be read as a stand alone, each and every book in this series is worth the read and it only adds to this book to read the others in the series first. Hopefully there will be more to come for Ann and Rhonda and their families and friends
Every book in The Beach House Hotel series is like a vacation for the reader. The description of the hotel, beach and houses is so well written that I could probably navigate around if it were a real place. The enduring friendship between Rhonda and Ann is inspiring and the family themes running throughout the book are wonderful.
In this book we meet friends from prior books and one neighborhood bad guy too. There’s one incident that could have gone horribly wrong, but the ladies act bravely and prevail. I look forward to the next book!
Thanks to the author and publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.
Ann and Rhonda have their hands full with the responsibility of running a boutique hotel in Florida respected for the privacy of their guests. Again they have taken a request from the Vice-President to accept a guest, an NFL player who has the reputation of being a “bad guy” within the League. Will he be rehabilitated while a “guest” with the plan the girls have in mind? Catch up with the nemesis of Ann and Rhonda since he has a new excuse to be on the hotel grounds. Add the responsibilities of family matters and a health scare: who wouldn’t need coffee with the indulgence of Consuela’s delectable sweet rolls! I received an ARC from my author; this is my honest opinion.
Annie and Rhonda are best friends and own The Beach House Hotel. They run a very busy business and are asked by the Vice President for help to rehabilitate an NHL football player. He seems to be in the need for an attitude adjustment. With support and grace, both ladies have their work cut out for them. Through love and friendship, these ladies are a terrific team and seem to deal well with difficult situations that they are dealt with. I would recommend this book. It's a great summer read.
Connecting with old friends is always wonderful, even if they are in one of Judith Keim's series. Ann and Rhonda, still make all their guests welcome and feel like family. In this story, we meet, Bobby “Bugs” Bailey, a star player in the NFL, who let fame go to his head, and needed an attitude adjustment. Bobby’s coach has sent him there, knowing how they had helped others before. Life at the Beach House Hotel, has love, challenges, family, a sense of relaxation and peace, Brock, but it always feels like coming back to your favorite vacation. I received an ARC from Judith Keim.
I love, love, love this series. Rhonda and Annie are so perfect as business partners and best friends. The story line in this book is wonderful. One of those you just want to keep reading. It shows the love they have for each other and for others. The characters are awesome. How many of us have had or currently have a Brock in our life? This is about families and friends handling life. They have such interesting histories and present day lives. I can’t wait to go back to the beach and visit with my friends again. I received an ARC of this book, but my opinion is my own.
Ann and Rhonda have expansion plans for the Beach House Hotel. Their local nemesis would like nothing better than to interfere with them and now that he is a building inspector, Brock may have the power to do that. In the meantime, however, the Beach House will continue on as normal which includes dealing with conflicts and employing a young football star that needs an attitude adjustment.
Judith Keim brings her characters to life in this story. You feel their joy and their pain. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
Reading this next book in this series was like a family reunion for me. I enjoyed the excitement of catching up with Annie and Rhonda and their families as well as their extended hotel family. I liked how endearing this book was as it touched my heart. It made me laugh, feel warm, fuzzy thoughts, and cry along with those two strong, brave best friends, I enjoyed the fun matchmaking and strolls along the beach and sailing on the ocean. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
We are back at the Beach House Hotel on the Gulf Coast of Florida with Ann and Rhonda. This book is about Bobby, a star NFL player with major attitude. His coach sends him to the Beach House to work, even though Bobby didn’t know he would be doing manual labor. Then comes back Tina, movie star, with her two children. Tina brings a nanny, Sydney, along and soon catches the eye of the NFL player with the attitude. What happens in the end… I guess you will have to read and find out. I was given an advanced copy of this book for my unbiased opinion.
You know how you find an author that never disappoints? Well Judith Keim is one of those authors for me. Her stories are well written, pull you in and keep you wanting more and this one is no exception. This wonderful, enjoyable series continues with book 7, Coffee at the Beach House Hotel, and pulls you in from the start. It's captivating, a great escape from your everyday life and has characters you can't help but love.
