Rules. Limits. Norm. These words are not for a Prime.
A prime is a group of powerful families who rule everybody in secret, and Christian is one of them. He, Klause, and Rome, own the halls of Rutherford Prep. All the girls want them even though they're cold, indifferent, and mercilessly reign over everyone.
Except me.
I have secrets to protect, especially from a prime. However, Christian has set his eyes on me. He's a psycho who wants to own and consume, and if he can't have me, he'll make me suffer.
I fell for someone like him once and wouldn't make the same mistake twice.
I had meticulously planned to eliminate the primes for years, but Christian is something I hadn't expected. If I'm going to prevail, I must stay away from him.
That's easier said than done. However, my name is Catherine Elizabeth Vanderford and I'm a survivor.
This is a dark enemies-to-lovers new adult romance with triggers, bullying, angst, and dark themes. You're about to fall in love with a troubled hero. Intended for mature readers as it contains triggering content. No cheating. Book 1 and 2 will end in a hook. Happily ever after at the end of book 3.
I read alot! This book took a minute for me to engage fully, but then it was the best ride in the park. Alpha males × 10 & smart, strong women. I also liked the loyalty factor.
Book 1 The Primes Trilogy, ends on a to be continued. Dark Bully romance, Alpha males, enemies to lovers, strong FMC, Possessive MC, Touch her and die, M/F.
New to me Author and a lucky find; was quickly drawn into this story. Although a familiar setting it has it's own voice, the characters are strong and brimming with life and vigour.
It's all here, read this in one go and my eyes are on stalks but I could not stop turning the pages. Medium burn for a sound reason but the spice is so succulent when it hits you.
There are some issues that may be triggering for some readers so please note the Authors Content warning at the beginning however I found nothing was overly graphic, was in context and a necessary part of the story arc.
The character dynamics are strong, friendship, loyalty and I feel there is a lot history hinted at, to be revealed in later books perhaps which is intriguing. Character growth is superb too, no stagnancy and plenty of revelations to keep you on your toes and your interest piqued.
I will add though, I almost did not pick this to read as I did not like the cover. Much prefer my imagination to fill out the Hero but that's just me and it does not look like a Dark Bully read.
Thoroughly enjoyed this and off to find Book 2, Damaged which I believe has also been published.
Honestly this book was such an easy read, I think it read up until like 80/90% mark before I fell off for a few weeks because it became less focused on the relationship but more focused the academic/social drama which is just eh ok. And the ending was like getting hit by a random sock filled with greasy rocks - definitely unpleasant but random AF lol...
What a whirlwind!! It was so fast paced, I read it for 4 hours straight until I swallowed it up! It is currently 2:05 am and I am so eager to buy the next one just to see what happens. It includes love, lust, danger, crime, thrill, action, bitches and pricks, bullies and more!! Honestly I’m in love…. I think I have a new favourite… I would absolutely recommend xoxo!
