made "one of a kind" hat on p.18-23. instructions not accurate, had to adapt. see amazon reviews re: sizing. i like a lot of the patterns, though. i want to try the nested (p.99-) and organic (p.102-) baskets and learn how to make corkscrew fringe (p.43). library copy. thought about buying it, but decided against it.
pretty good book of crochet patterns. Nice instructions in the beginning, the projects were not the most inspiring but this would be great for a beginner-level crocheter.
All of the clothes were disgusting in this book ... big shapeless blobs! I found 2 or 3 things I thought were cute (that were not clothes ;)), but other than that, I didn't like this book so well.
A library borrowing that is on my (long) wishlist. Somehow crochet pattern books almost always look out of date the minute they're published. But I found quite a few good patterns in this one.
Eh. Not a particular fan of these patterns- they are pretty clunky. I did like the open-backed cardigan, but the striping and flower patterns were a little much.
