A random old book that was given to me turned out to have some interesting stories. As a horror fan, these stories were especially chilling knowing that they actually happened.

This series of case studies provided an interesting insight into a number of female murderers, contrasting and comparing them. Some of it was written in a slightly over-sensationalised manner (I was not put off by the gruesomeness of the murders, but by the author's choice of description and the sense that he was not writing completely impartially) but there were some very quirky aspects too which were forensically informative.
