This is a good guide to Yule, which is my second favorite Sabbath, Christmas has become overly commercialized and people should not just be good and kind on one holiday, they should be kind everyday. I am now off my preach box. Yule is a celebration of the shortest day of the year and the longest night. It is celebrated for 12 days with lots of community, and gratefulness for the year's blessings. I especially like that there is some spookiness to this season too. read the rituals of the 12 days of Yule to find out. This is a good addition to anyone's mystic library.

What I liked about this book is how the author made the crafts, recipes, practices, and traditions in this book very simple and realistic for modern day celebration. There are lots of great ideas for ways to celebrate without the need for hard to find ingredients or locations.
Wonerfully detailed book. Mari covers history, modern practices, everything you need to know about Yule. She even has several recipes to fill your tummy.
Super short and easy read. I definitely recommend if you’re dipping your toes in Yule or trying to brush up on the origins of the traditions we still hold onto.
