You have to adjust quickly to the changing conditions of your life. There just isn't enough time in the day to deal with all the ups and downs, to get everything done that needs to be done, to have fun with friends and family, and to sleep. Poetry enables you to open up a moment, unpack the viscera of emotions, and explore the bones of life, and throughout this book, we see Poorva capturing numerous moments that are worth lingering on.

It’s a short read that can be read in few hours. Hence I will keep my reviews short. It’s a collection of poetries. The book contains poems that are reflective, romantic and spiritual in nature. The very first poem in the book is ellipses and it stole my heart. Author wrote that one too beautifully and in deep sense of meaning that i had to read that twice to get it completely. Some of the topics of the poems are so unique. I haven’t come across them yet. Such as outside Plato’s cave, Aloha Brahma, Professor Pruffrock, etc. Some of these poems express the yearnings of the poet for her unfulfilled dreams, some pertain to her experiences of motherhood and some of them are her poetic interactions with Nature. Most of the poems are written in free style. Author took some unique topics or feelings or interactions and presented them in too beautiful and interesting way that make us leave thinking. Genuinely i was surprised how perfectly author can write. I liked the language and vocabulary used by the author. It’s tough to write poems as one have limited words to express her feelings and author nailed it completely. And lastly here I would like to mention about ellipses because many of us like me are wondering about what it is so here is the explanation author provided in blurb. If you love to read poetry you'll feel the warm sunshine and a chill in the air, and you can relate to the emotions that every verse holds into it . This books gives answer to many intentions like how does a person feel when trapped within the walls of their own making? What happens when someone gives everything about themselves to the one they love? The poems are beautifully written, they are easy to read and connect with. The poetess easily delivers her message and evokes the desired emotions in the reader.
The poems in this book are not short poems of 4 to 5 lines, but they are of good length and provide a sense of satisfaction to people who love reading poetry in the true sense. The book, overall, is an excellent poetry collection that any poetry lover would cherish. But the best thing is that it is the kind of book that even non-poetry readers should check out and give a try as it's quite impressive and accessible due to the language and writing style.

“Ellipses” is a compilation of 78 long and 26 short verses that encompass the echoes of the silence, the echoes of the thoughts and voices intermingling with the silence that engulfs the void in between. These verses are deep-rooted in inner thoughts which are often left unsaid and most of the time get lost within.
From the bittersweet feelings of unfulfilled wishes to the yearning for true love, from the art of manifestation to the feelings of gratitude – these poems mirror a woman’s life experiences, both good and bad.
I have mixed emotions about this collection as a good portion of the verses were a hit or miss for me. There were some verses that I had to read and reread to completely comprehend them whereas there were some that touched my heart instantly.
All in all, it was a good collection that I would recommend to you if you are a poetry lover.

This book is a collection of poetry with randomly scattered emotions, feelings and opinions. I regularly read this genre, but this book is different, in most books poet/poetess are very organised about their writings; the arbitrator flow of poetesses words makes this collection special. In one she speaks about love, the other about professional priorities later it's about a silent memory in a cup of tea, these scattered emotions add a spice of this book.
The very first poem made a mark in my heart, in the present era of SMS and social media DM the poetess asked the reader to discover her not in the explicitly stated words but in it's hidden implied meaning.
In the sixth poem the poetess expresses the bond of pain and love metaphorically, wherein love cherishes the celebration of pain also.
Through the twelfth poem the poetess reminds the reader the beauty of life that we forget lost in the various shades of grey (jealous, comparison, and many similar weaknesses). The ultimate beauty of your life is you.
I've read many write-ups (stories and poems) about virus and lockdown period but in poem Hope the poetess has stringed every character (frontline warriors, counselors, reporters, elders, children, and all others who did many things for the first time). Cannot, Shall Not, Won't this poem is very motivating, a reminder to speak out and not to stay silent. Poems Allons Donc and Vermilion Florets hold a classic style. This book is a cheerful delight for every poetry paramour.
PS : Dear poetess I believe Rehab For Love is your best poem. In this you have mentioned every dream and desire of a lover (especially the one's who have lost their love).

In cases where we want to look for a way to express how we are feeling or help us understand how we want to, reading is proven to be something that is bound to give us a lift and make us perceive more positively about the way we view things.
And as such, reading even a few verses or melancholy words can help anyone feel empathy and get back to a more proper mindset that is very much needed to propel ourselves in the right direction.
In such regards, ‘Ellipses’ by author Poorva Trikha is a wonderful book by the author that has some great collection of poems to help us align with the feelings and other emotions that we are looking for.
These poems do not pertain to a singular or particular theme, however they are all binded together in a sense that they are somehow related to the poet and are her experiences that she has garnered over the years and how she views at certain things, from her perspective.
My favorite poem from the entire book would be In a Decade’s Time that so beautifully captures the essence of how drastically our life changes over a certain period. When we are young, we are so carefree and don’t have to give much thought about any of our actions.
But as we grow up, we start shouldering responsibilities and are so grappled in our day to day life that we forget the most important parts, and the bygones just remain a fragment of our memory that are left behind.
To sum this up, I would say that the book has certain poem for each and every single of the reader that they can relate to, hence I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Reading poetries of Ellipses felt unique yet strangely familiar.
I loved and admired every single line of each of the poetries. The only reason why I took ages to finish this book is because I was re reading them time and again.
One could feel the inflicted pain yet contented through her voice. Few of them reflected the harsh truth and I actually needed time to contemplate them.

One such poetry is "A Sonnet on the Ad Page" which perfectly depicted the stereotypical and hypocrite society.

I would suggest to give the book a read atleast, and you would know why it is not simply justified by expressing my views. The choice of words were marvelous, the expression was versatile, the thoughts were imaginative and moreover, the emotions were unfiltered and raw.

This book, Ellipses written by Poorva Trikha is a poetry collection. There are poems written on 76 different topics and at the end there is a short poem collection too. Almost all the poems focus on the theme of spirituality and love. This compilation was a pretty good read for me and this is something I will add to my poetry shelf ! This is such a beautiful book. I just read it all at once, not able to wait further once I started with it !
The author's way of writing is very simple and at times thought provoking. I was actually able to relate to certain things in this book. The very first poem itself was so impressive. Below are the few lines picked from it -

Often there are emotions that we want to convey which remains stuck within the confines of our heart. Things that remain unsaid contain the gravity of the moment which change lives.
The author has captured these poignant emotions beautifully with her poetry. More importantly, the author has poured her heart out regarding the quagmire of emotions which a woman undergoes, be it in terms of embracing motherhood or thinking about your insecurities.
I enjoyed the fact that the author has incorporated a lot of unique elements pertaining to various scenarios and poets.

The book is a reflection of a woman's thoughts and feelings, bearing testimony to all the anguish, emotions, and agony that shape our path. Some of the poems certainly move you because you will be able to sense the raw emotions flowing through them. There are underlying layers and deep thoughts and emotions beneath those words that make me want to savour and reread it. What an unexpected find of wonderful writing and amazing poems that are honest, simple, easy to comprehend and full of passion.
There are numerous perspectives on love, heartbreak, loss, uncertainty, joy, sentiments, revelation, passion, and grief in this collection of poems. I absolutely like the variety of pieces chosen for inclusion in the book. I strongly recommend this emotional and comprehensive collection of verses to all readers who are interested in poetry and the essence of life.

This is a collection of poetry. The author has penned down the different ideologies and emotions through these pieces. The reflection of reality in these pages make it even more interesting. The simple words are easily relatable to the readers' mind. Each piece of poetry leaves an impact on the heart and mind of the reader. It captures the essence of feelings in th different situations of life. It's a beautiful reflection of reality and human life.
Its a nicely layered book with a good narration through out the book. The language used is pretty simple and easy making it a comfortable read. I finished it in one sitting only and I believe it's perfect for any new and young reader, even.

▪️It contained poems on Women's misery and empowerment, Intelligence, Misery of animals, Covid-19, Nature, Transition from a daughter to a mother, friendship, Love and many more.
▪️Few lines were really mesmerizing and heartwarming. Some of them became very close to my heart and with some I felt a deep connection.

It was so beautiful to read. "Eclipse" is a collection of poems, and what makes it more beautiful is each poem contains a different topic from the rest of the poems in the book. Poet Poorva Trikha constructed the poems so well that while reading them, you'll feel the word "Love" in every single cell of your body. This book will take you on a journey of an emotional rollercoaster. The usage of words is so elegant. Poet really knows what she was doing while writing this book. Thank you Poet Poorva for penning down such beautiful verses and gifting us with the book. A worth-reading book. Mesmerizing. Loved it.

The title of the book piqued my interest, so I decided to read it. I was intrigued by the title and was eager to find out what was inside.
More than anything, I enjoy reading poems and writing poetry. So here's the first reason I adored the book.
So our lives are divided into many phases, and we go through many experiences. Because we are humans, we are affected by a wide range of emotions and sentiments.
So, with all of this in mind, the author composed poems. The poems are really interesting. They have profound meanings. It was a pleasure to read.
The author has kept it simple so that readers can easily understand it. I really enjoyed the content.

Ellipses is a poetry collection written by Poorva Trikha. There are more over 70+ different topics in this book. Most of the poems are focused on spirituality and love. It's a pretty short book and can be completed in go but if you want to feel the poem then go slow.
It's a simple and lucid writing style of the author. I really loved this book. I would like to reccomend this book everyone. From starting to the end the book will keep you hooked. The cover of the book is just wow with some green trees in it!

This is a small book that runs for 164 pages. Altogether there are 78 poems. As a bonus there is short poems in the end which has poems in the format of haikku. The book runs around a simple and beautiful concept that is properly conveyed. This book is a compilation of poems. This poem comprises of mixed emotions. Loved the way it talks about personal experiences and it also is a representation which is universally accepted. The usage of spoken word poetry indeed makes it easy to read. If you are a lover of poetry go ahead and give it a try.
