I have read a few of Viktor’s books- I’m aware of his taboo writing, which is why I usually enjoy diving into one of his books. When I read the blurb I was so excited for this book. Older woman, younger men!! But, it fell flat for me. I could not connect to Kate. The sexy fell short for me. For me it was just Meh. It doesn't mean I won’t pick up another of Viktor’s books, this one was just not for me. I wanted better for Kate. She is an independent, single mom, living in a man’s world and hasn’t had sex in YEARS. Only to go on forced vacation by the sexist stone age men she works with. She decides to take advantage and books a vacation at a beautiful resort to have mediocre at best- sex. I so wanted her to be able to embrace her dominant side and get to see her explore it, but it wasn’t really there for me.


Ever since her divorce Kate has been building her career and raising her daughter. When she feels dismissed during a meeting she calls out the men she works with for the rude behavior. The solution is for her to take a vacation. At first she is angry, but then decides why the heck not? Go to an exotic location, maybe hook up and live out a few fantasies and escape.

The resort is beautiful, the people are too, but the first couple of encounters do not give Kate the satisfaction she was looking for. She loves to be in control, but just cannot seem to find a man willing to put his ego aside for it.

One thing that does come out of the vacation- the determination to put the men she works will in their places.

Kate is a strong independent woman in the corporate world. Even though she is the head of her department, she still finds some of the men show her less respect than they do her male colleagues. During a presentation, this disrespect causes her to call the men out for their behavior, leading to a confrontation with her boss and a forced vacation for her. She heads to a resort in South America, planning to hook up with some men for sex the way she wants it, with her being the dominant one. After several encounters, she returns home better able to face those same colleagues and demand the respect she deserves.
Kate is an interesting character, she knows what she wants in and out of the bedroom, and the reactions of the men she meets does surprise her. She is confident in her expressing her desires in the bedroom and in choosing her partners, and that confidence carries over into the boardroom on her return to work.

This is the first book in this series. It features Kate. A single mother of an eighteen year old daughter. She is a strong, successful woman in a male dominated business. This opens with her trying to give a presentation. But a few of her colleagues are talking and snickering. In other words disrespecting her. And when she looses her temper her boss sends her on a forced vacation. She ultimately decides to do just that. So she books 3 weeks at a resort in South America. She embarks on an exploration of her desires. She wants a physically fit male with strong features. Yet she also wants to be in charge. After several unsatisfactory encounters she finds what she wanted in two younger men. Will this be the answer to her internal struggles? Can she use what she learns back in the real world?

This is a fast paced story that can be read in one or two days. I like how Viktor Redreich gives us a glimpse into many different types of sexuality. I did receive an advance copy for my honest review.

Explicit Demands by Viktor Redreich is a bit different from other books of his that I’ve read so far. This book follows the story of Kate, a woman stuck in a man’s corporate world who just wants to be taken seriously regardless of her gender. While trying to navigate her job, which consists mostly of male coworkers, she finds herself in a situation where she now has a whole month to herself. Next thing you know she’s planning out a trip to Argentina. From there she gets into some rather steamy, interesting situations in which she gets to take the lead for once. While I’m typically more into the reverse of this type of story I have to say I found it rather intriguing and it held my attention from beginning to end. If you’re looking for a story with a strong female lead who is tired of being walked on then look no further. I highly recommend Explicit Demands by Viktor Redreich.

Kate works for an electronics company. During her presentation, the men didn’t pay attention to her like they did their male co-workers and Kate lost it. Her boss makes her take a month long vacation. Since her daughter is 18 years old, Kate decides to go to a beachfront property in Argentina.

She is looking for someone to fulfill her needs the way she wants to not the way they want to.

She meets Gerard from Italy but he’s almost too young for her and the sex wasn’t great. Then she meets Marcus on the bus tour and has sex with him on the grassy hillside. Kate decides to go to a club dancing and hopes to find a fling there. She meets best friends, Fabian who is 26 and Alessandro who is 29. Kate has fun with them and bends them to her wishes but lets them go when they get too attached.

She is determined to go home and change her life. Will she be able to fix things with her daughter and her job?.

This book wasn’t for me. You’re probably wondering why I gave it 4 stars. It’s not Viktor’s fault so it wouldn’t be fair to him. The plot was well developed as was the characters. I just didn’t like Kate and how she treated men. That’s on me as a reader. Even after finding out why she’s that way, I still couldn’t like her. I also didn’t like the way she handled the situation with Claire either. I love Viktor’s writing style and taboo stories so I chose to read this one even though I knew I didn’t like Kate when she appeared in Claire and Vince’s story. I had hopes that I would change my mind. I do recommend this book to readers that love those taboo stories. Viktor takes topics others don’t want to talk about and pulls you into character’s world.

I love Kate! I love how she stands up for herself regardless of the situation. She's worked her butt off to get to where she is in a male dominated business which should mean that she has more than earned the respect of her fellow co-workers. Unfortunately that is not the case and she finds herself in an unfamiliar position. After making some needed decisions, she discovers some things about herself and her life that she always pushed to the side. After re-evaluating certain aspects, Kate becomes even more of a force to be reckoned with than she was before and with a no-nonsense attitude she marches in and demands nothing less than the respect she deserves.

I loved everything about Kate and how she stood up for herself. When the two guys wouldn’t shut up, and she called them out that was one of the best parts. This book was total different from all the others. I loved it and when she went on vacation she knew what she was looking for in wanting some Wei Wei. She knew what she was looking for but to tell the truth she didn’t get it until she met Fabian and Alessandro. This book had you wanting to see who was going to be the one but laughing when they pissed her off. If you love Viktor’s books then you will love this one. The only thing I want to really know is what happened at the end.

Kate is frustrated by how she does not get the same courtesy as men would during the business meeting she was asked to give. Her reaction earns her some time off and she chooses to spend it somewhere sunny. She is eager to explore and finds several men to explore with.

I was intrigued by how Kate reacts to the encounters. At times she doesn't understand their reactions, and doesn't want to deal with it. I love how she grows to embrace her power and own wielding it. Kate needs to be in charge and enjoys the power and control it brings to the encounter. Steamy times!
She becomes a force to reckon with. The boardroom will not know what hit it.

I was hooked on this book after reading only a few lines, the story is about Kate, a woman trying against the odds to compete and be taken seriously in a man’s corporate world. Most of her coworkers are men and due to a situation in the workplace, she finds herself facing a whole month off! Never one to be adrift she plans to visit Argentina, where upon her arrival she finds herself the centre of attention and enjoying some rather interesting and steamy, adventures.

I enjoyed this intriguing and steamy read, it held my attention from beginning to end. I loved that for once the female lead was totally in control of the situation.

Does Kate actually like to dominate?

This book had good potential for the plot, but I could not get into it as much with the main character. I felt like Kate was a little too wishy-washy and indecisive for her to keep saying she likes to be dominant in her relationships. I feel like every scene with a guy, she went back and forth between "I don't like when he takes charge" to "oh I think this is hot after all" to "okay leave now, I am not satisfied with you".
The spicy scenes were written very well and were hot. I just personally was annoyed a little by the main character so it is only 4 stars for me.

a young woman whose life has been more or less quiet so to speak. Until she was forced to take a vacay which she didn't want. After being on vacay she decided to get hold of her life and take what she wants no matter what which included all types of sexual encounters. When returning from the time off she straightens out her daughter's relationship then goes to work and put those men in place to know she will get the respect she deserves.

Kate is an strong and powerful who knows what she needs. After a blowup during a boardroom meet at the men who don’t respect her. She decides to take a three weeks vacation to cool off. But instead she decides to make her stay there as hot as she can get it. She will have many lovers who she dominated for her good. After returning renewed she takes on the men at work and by the time she done they will know exactly who she is. This is another remarkable book by Viktor. I hope you give Kate’s journey a chance.

I recieved an ARC read of this book through book sprout. I am pleased and glad i read it. From the beginning of the book your attention is caught. You find your self wanting to reach through the book and strangle the disrespectful .... I love how strong and hard working she is and that she knows whats shes likes. I was down right awesome to see her speak her mind. Sometimes things happen for a reason and a vaction and time seem to be one of those things. Seriously hot and strong !!! Totally expected by this author.

Im not usually one of books around dominant women but damn this was hot. Kate is a woman you can relate to on a level with all the crap she's got to put up with being a woman working in a man's world! But when she's able to get all those frustrations out - in more ways than one - this book goes from relatable to hot hot hot. Loved reading something from a different POV and once again Viktor does not disappoint.

I usually enjoy this author's books but this one didn't completely land with me.Kate is understandably frustrated but her indicidiveness and internal talk was grating at times.The scenes at the resort are hot and the ending is a bit rushed.

I recommend if a older woman/younger man and dom female appeal to you.

After various hot encounters with men, Kate shows them who’s in charge. A steamy book that will leave you hot under the collar! Great story and well written!.

WONDERFUL

Victor you have done it again. Perfect for the ladies who dream of dominating their men, I can't understand why she didn't pack pudgy Fabio in her case and take him home to keep in her 'toy box'. Great that she came to realize that she truly was a powerful woman and deserved respect and should be shown it at all times.
I enjoyed her holiday eventually finding her real self and for dealing with the daughter's married man. 😍

This book is about a woman who likes to take control in the office and in the bedroom. While enjoying her vacation, she lets herself explore several lovers. But only if they let her dominate them. This is a book with many steamy bedroom scenes. I liked the book but the main character seemed a little too angry for most of the book.

Kate is a great,strong female character and I enjoyed reading about her exploits with her many admirers, whilst on vacation.
I would like to say so much more about this story but, I won't, as I don't want to spoil this for anyone.
