I wasn’t expecting so much emotion!!!!
This was supposed to be a fun, light, steamy instalove quickie!!!
And it was steamy, it was a quickie but it wasn’t light and it managed to pack in so much raw emotion I was crying big ugly hiccuping tears. My husband actually got worried and thought something was wrong with me. He was very confused as to why I’d want to “read something that’s gonna make you cry like that! qué loca!”
Ahhh men! Such adorably obtuse creatures at times!
But I felt this one down to the marrow of my bones! The heroine had been adopted by the hero’s family when she was a teenager and she had spent her childhood being shuttled from one place to the next, unwanted and tossed away and never quite good enough to keep. It reminded me of when the state would periodically come in and take me and my siblings away, due to my mother’s prostitution and the abusive men she surrounded herself with. Despite my mothers chaos and depraved lifestyle, most of us always somehow ended back with her, but the being rejected and tossed from one family to the next, or one relative to the next…well you never felt as if you belonged to anyone. And this heroine experienced that and it brought the ugly tears!
I loved the hero, too! He WAITED for the heroine. He wasn’t like some of these useless zeros who “pine” for the heroine with their dicks in other women! No, he stayed faithful and there ain’t nothing more swoony than that!

Y cuando finalmente confiesan lo que sienten por el otro lo tienen que mantener en secreto? Son adultos, me pareció que los demás lo tenían que entender. También fue fuerte que su hermano y ella siguieran pensando que los iban a echar si hacían algo mal. Fue conmovedor que les dijeran que ellos eran parte de la familia y que nadie los iba a enviar lejos como lo hicieron cuando eran huérfanos.
West y Cassie son el Santa y la Sra. Santa de la temporada y mientras decoran y envuelven regalos comienzan una relación que los llevara al para siempre que soñaron. Me encantó que West sea protector con Cassie, él la adoraba y se comportaba como un caveman pero a ella le encantaba. Creí que habría mayores problemas con el hermano pero una vez que West le explicó que no había otra mujer para él que Cassie lo entendió.
En general un romance corto navideño entretenido, dulce y sexy.

This book was a fantastic best friend’s sister romance with a twist. Not only is she West’s best friend’s little sister, Cassie is also his adopted sister. This twist added a beautiful but heartbreaking layer to this Christmas romance. Cassie has been in love with West since she met him, but always worried about being sent back to the foster system if she voiced her feelings. West has become a grumpy cowboy over the years. That’s what happens when you try to keep the woman you love at arm’s length. When he has to take over as Santa at his family’s tree farm, he knows exactly who he wants to be his Mrs Clause. Spending this extra time together makes it impossible to hold back their love and attraction. I really enjoyed how their relationship unfolded and how their family reacted to the news.
You will LOVE West!! He’s a protective, caring, tender hearted cowboy who’s wanted Cassie to be his forever. Cassie is also a really fantastic character. She has such a big heart, taking her creativity and creating a business that allows her to give to kids who really need it. Her desire to have a home of her own will break your heart. Don’t worry the Kringle’s are an amazing family and exactly where Cassie belongs. There’s a lot of heat in this Christmas romance. The heat is written really well and I loved how West was always willing to wait for Cassie to be ready for the next step. Everything comes together in a really beautiful ending! Too...
I had high hopes, but was honestly disappointed. I paid for this read and it was over in a matter of an evening. Everything about it was too rushed. They got too physical way too fast. There was no foreplay or time for that prolonged struggle to build up the excitement, emotion, and sexual tension. It basically just dove straight in. The wording sounded like it was straight from a man's perspective. Little to no inner emotions, even though it was supposedly there in the sex scenes, just crude, raunchy, lust. I don't mind a bit of that. It comes with the territory, obviously, but it just sounded like it was written from strictly a man's point of view. Worded the way a man would word it. Which for a woman, is just lacking a little foreplay. I really missed the build up. Way too much was left out of the story line too. As a whole, for me it was all, wham, bam, thank you ma'am, like a one night stand and you're kicked to the curb before the sun comes up. The base story line was good, there just wasn't enough story to back it up. The potential was there for a great read, but pretty much the whole story was just barely skimmed over, leaving way too many questions and disappointment. It needs more of everything, except the "man" verbs. If the one's used in this were scattered throughout a "complete" story, instead of all packed into such a short, seemingly unfinished story, it would be just right. Keep the concept, just greatly elaborate the ... well everything.

Cassie has been in love with West since she arrived at the ranch ten years ago. Her brother Micha and her went from foster home to foster home and finally ended up with the Kringles. Even though West is a grump, she still feels like he is the one for her. West has had to try and stay away from Cassie. He’s known she is his soulmate and now he needs to do something about it. He volunteers Cassie to help him set up Santa’s workshop at the Community Center and be Mrs. Claus to his Santa. He’s hoping she feels the same way and then they can figure out what to do about their family. This was an emotional read. You could really feel for Cassie and what she’d been through all those years in foster care. That has made her scared of being removed from the ranch and her family yet again. West has been patient and caring and now that he and Cassie are on the same page he’s become even more protective of her. The chemistry between them crackles when’s they’re together. An awesome read. Can’t wait to see what happens to Micha and Ledger. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a short, steamy and delectable romance. Though they met as teenagers, it has been a decade since then, and West is beyond ready to claim the woman who stole his heart the moment they met. Both were warned away from each other, but it didn’t stop the yearning or the fantasies they have had featuring each other. Cassie has done everything she can to fit in with her adopted family, though her feelings toward West are definitely not those of a sister. He has always kept his distance and been grumpy and almost rude around her, but suddenly he is giving off a whole lot of heat and his glances are steamy. Could their fantasies be about to come true? There is more than just Christmas magic in the air this year!.

Cassie and her brother live with the Kringle. Where she was adopted by them, her brother was too old. This did not stop her feeling for West. the Kringle's son. West has had feelings for Cassie from almost the time she began to live with him, but his parents told him she was off limits, plus she was his best friend's sister.
West and Cassie have a great connection, and I love that the family was not against them being together, just understanding it was not the right time. This is a fast story that take you on a wild ride with a few twists and turns that holds you till the end.
Love West and Cassie together, their spark and electricity is bright.

Terrific Story
Being adopted is something I know nothing about, I felt their pain, one bad thing they feel they did wrong would send them packing again, when West and Cassie fell in love, Cassie thought they would kick her out, the emotions were so high, but her mom assured her, that she would never do that and she has always been her daughter Cassie, I really loved this story of Love, sacrifice, determination, caring, survival, Micah and Cassie was adopted by a fantastic family, the Kringles, West assured Micah that he has a real family and that he will be taken care of if something happens to mom and dad. I love that West and Cassie finally declared their love for each other, wow 10 years, now they are married and baby on the way and living happily ever after.

West's parents warn him to stay away from her. She feared her and her brother would be sent away as all their other foster homes. She cannot help herself, she still had a crush on West. Would they ever find their way to each other? A wonderful holiday story with a little spice to make it all nice and warm the heart. Plus throw in a surprise or two to keep you guessing along the way.

I liked the story 'A Christmas Bride For The Cowboy' by Mia Brody. A brother and sister who have been adopted years before into a family learn during the Christmas season to know what it means to truly belong in a family. The sister has always felt as if she had to be careful or she and her brother would have to move on again is afraid to acknowledge her feelings for the son of her adopted parents and the man has been hiding his feelings for her but this Christmas their feelings can not be denied.

This was a wonderfully sweet yet steamy Christmas cowboy romance that will leave you smiling, swooning, and wanting more from the Kringles! West and Cassie were perfect together. I loved the connection and chemistry between these two as they both have loved each other for 10 years. These two are finally ready to let their love out however, Cassie and West have to tell their family first. I can't wait for Chloe and Micah's book next.

One of my favourite holiday books this year! Absolutely loved this story. West is fiercely protective but has the sweetest heart under all the gruffness. Cassie has her demons (with good reason) but she just wants to be loved. They are the balm for each others soul, and it only took 10 years to get there 😅 As always, Mia never disappoints and I can't wait Micah's story.

They were both warned away from each other when they met. She was just 15 he was 18. 10 years later and those warnings do not matter. He has waited for her all this time. One almost accident and they realize the feelings are mutual. I really enjoyed the characters. I hope we get Michah's story next. I would like to know if the baby is his.

Perfect Christmas read! It’s a sweet short story that will have you rooting for the characters. Micah and his sister Cassie were in the foster system until they got lucky and ended up at the Kringle ranch. The two did great with the family. Micah became best friends with West who was the Kringle’s son and who had a crush on Cassie. Over the years he kept his distance but as they’ve gotten older their feelings have gotten stronger! Great watching it all play out at Christmas.

He asks Cassie his best friends little sister... As always Mia has written a wonderful story I was unable to put down. Her characters were well developed and I fell in love with them both. Her plot evolved effortlessly which kept me reading to the last words.

I love a good grumpy cowboy but one that is pining after his best friends sister is my catnip. I loved Cassie and West so much. West has been hiding his feelings for Cassie for a decade. He’s finally ready to stop hiding and now he has to convince Cassie they belong together.
I loved how West turned from grumpy to a sweet marshmallow for Cassie. I am so excited for Micah’s story next!!

Oh my gosh, I just loved Cassie and West! These two stole my heart from the beginning of the story and never gave it back. West was this perfect grumpy cowboy with a heart of gold, and Cassie was so sweet and innocent.i loved the relationship between these two.

Oh this one was good. I loved, loved West. His secret obsession with Cassie was fire. Cassie was sweeter in her love for West. These two staying apart for years and years because of their family was so hard to read. I loved the heat, I loved the secondary characters and loved the plot. Great read!.

This is a wonderful short Christmas story. I loved West, his secret obsession with Cassie was pure fire! Those two were staying apart for years and years, loving each other, but have never acted on their feelings because of certain beliefs they have. The path to their happiness is a very sweet story.
