Don't. Break. Mirrors. Everyone says that. They never tell you why.
My world is not meant for human beings. That doesn't stop them from entering, of course, but it always, always stops their escape. Except hers.
She was just a child—nine years old when she broke her grandmother's mirror and its creatures emerged to pull her inside. When she met me.
I was thrilled to have another playmate—most humans who find themselves in my world dissolve within hours, minds too frail to handle the way the mirror fractures and reflects and proliferates them.
Such a good book, written from such an interesting stance. not something you see very often, but i wish there was more of it. it was a short read but it was really good quality and rich in the writing. the writing style was different and unique, and it portrayed the plot and the characters feelings very well! i definitely recommend reading it! a great thriller, with a great plot twist that will leave you waiting anxiously for the next book.
Wow. This was strange, gritty, raw, breathtaking and introspective. I found the idea of a mirror world to be a unique concept, and also found the authors description and explanation of a mirror world to be fantastically thoughtful.
Though psych thrillers are not my jam at all, I really enjoyed this read. I read it in one sitting. Well done or should I say bravo?
I love this book! It is good for all kinds of readers. I consider myself a casual reader and this was an easy read for me despite such a meaningful story. You can almost feel several layers of emotion the characters are feeling on every page.
