Interesting
The FMC was very indecisive. First lying to the LC in the hospital, then on-going, deciding to go visit him in another country on a whim without notifying him, even though he'd expressed wanting to see her.
She was able to track him down, but not find any information about his family? Then, she almost left him again in the hospital while he was hurt.
The constant reassurance and insecurity, and shyness is just weird for someone who was willing to go all in for a one night stand.
Also, during the rescue, she saw him get hurt but wanted him to stop and reassure her that HE didn't kill the man fighting to hurt them?
My rating is a 3.72.

Idk why Alex told his dad they didn't need bodyguards. Amari was already kidnapped once. Also I can't see in real life that the workers at the airport would of been so dismissive someone telling them that their woman was missing. With sex trafficking at an all time high I can't comprehend why they just assumed Amari would of left Alex at the airport by himself with all their luggage🤦♀️

The kidnapping was a bit much
Like the title said, the kidnapping was a bit much and very quick to resolve. The plot could have been different for this short of a format. Also, there are some continuity issues. One minute, I thought she had curly hair and caramel skin, and then they mentioned her having locks and chocolate skin. So, I just need some continuity and consistency there.

I love this couple!!
Oh my goodness, every episode just gets better and better! Alex was not playing when it came to Amari. The connection these two share is so palpable. I almost fell like a voyeur reading their story. I love how they love each other completely. I'm definitely rereading these books over and over again. On to the next book!
