I can't believe how much I love these books

Cute & impossible
Max is on her way back to Crimson Lodge to be the snowboard instructor to the failing Crimson Lodge. Sloane gets hired on last minute at the lodge also as a ski instructor. We find out why Sloane was hired so last minute, but the story is mainly how fast Syndicorp can purchase the lodge & get a fast investment back. Along the way, we learn things about both MC’s that help to tell the cute story of absolute ‘Polar Opposites’. Max keeps returning to Crimson Lodge because she loves teaching others to snowboard & loves the mountain. For Sloane it’s her first time & she falls for the mountain, too. Sparks fly, Sloane runs. Why does Sloane run? Hmm, gotta read this cute & impossible book. Sloane & Max both think at times that they’re impossible to get along with each other.

Fluffy like snow. A fun sapphic fluff romance centred around a mountain lodge and the rivalry between a skier and a snowboarder.
- Having read the previous books I can say that Fletcher's writing has definitely improved over the series. There's still a lot of dialogue but it felt relevant and suited the plot.
- A typical enemies to lovers story that progresses well. The two main characters have more depth to them though I wish the book had been longer and we'd learned more about their backgrounds and pasts.
My favourite of the Midwest Weres series and if you're looking to lighthearted shifter fluff, then I'd definitely recommend.

Two women, two shape shifters who wins?
The wolf or the polar bear? In Michigan? A defunct ski resort, a owner who no longer likes being cold and a maybe new investor! Hmm! The wolf (Maxine) and the polar bear (Sloane) start off on the wrong foot or word! Until a moment occurs and a quick kiss, where did that come in place of constant bickering with each other. What is going on? Enjoy!
