Book 3 in the series beings us Ella's story.
We met her before as an entitled, bratty young woman who seemed a bit lost. Ok, she's worked as a barista but now she is at Make It Easy Design (the company formed by Victoria, Shelby, Marina and Dru) and focused on proving her worth. Dru's niece Gia comes to town with a mission to forge her own path without any family help. She is working at the Kensington Art Gallery and loving it. Fun loving Gia is drawn in by Ella's seriousness and Ella is taken by Gia's love for life. A tiny spark of attraction is lit. The two are perfect foils for each other - they just can't see it!
Moody does a fine job of taking us through the growth of both young women, adding heat and romance and a wonderful cast of supporting characters. There are glitches but love is the prevailing factor holding everything together. Perceived obstacles loom large until demolished by recognition of love.
This story is a lovely addition to the series.

I rec'd a copy from the author. My review is completely voluntary.

This is the third book in the Second Chance series and it is also the book with the youngest couple Jamey Moody has ever written about. I almost never read books anymore with characters in their early twenties because of my own age and one of the things I adore about Jamey is that her characters are older and I can relate to them. But after I met Ella and Gia before in this series, I wanted to find them their happiness (if possible finding it in each other). As often my wish was fulfilled by Jamey. 🥰

I was pulled in right from the start. As soon as Gia and Ella meet there is this instant attraction. You would think being as young as they are it won’t take them long to act on their feelings but you never know with young people these days, they may surprise you. 😆🥰 And to be honest I definitely got surprised a few times in this book. The thing is sometimes things are so obvious that I miss them and then I ask myself how could I have not seen that coming. Lol

Aside from the sweetest build-up between them (one of Jamey’s) strength we also get lots of ease that fits to characters at that age. Don’t get me wrong not everything is easy. Ella is actually dealing with lots of self-doubts. She is looking for her place in life and for others to see her as the person she really is. Coming from a rich family and often having been seen as spoiled, this took its toll on her. What I meant is the ease when these two are together.

Gia with her family history is just perfect for Ella. Perfect to show her she is perfect just the way she is and sometimes all we need to be is a bit less serious. They definitely have lots of fun together and maybe sometimes do something without thinking it through. But this only added to a wonderful reading experience for me. I am not sure if I ever laughed so much in one of Jamey‘s books. I mean when you get older it’s possible you forget things. Even though in this book I learned it also happens to much younger people. Lol

If you wanna know more about what I mean, well the only way to find out is to read this book. If you’re a fan of Jamey‘s sweetness, you definitely will be very happy with this story. Gia and Ella are just the sweetest and getting to see all the other characters from the first two books in this series was just wonderful.

Jamey you did it once again and by that I mean, you made me very happy and filled my heart with lots of love. Thank you for another fantastic read. I can’t wait for more by you. And to everyone else who sees this, if you’re a romance fan like I am, you definitely have to read this book.

I received an advance reader copy from the author and voluntarily leaving a review.

Sweet, low-angst, and lots of pages of the the MCs together, this is a neat and satisfying end of series. It also works as a standalone, with plenty of catch-up regarding the relationships in the two previous instalments.

If you like high drama and a lot of angst, this series is likely not for you. If your like your romance, gentle and stress-free than there's a lot to enjoy in this trilogy from Jamey Moody.

Definitely a well worthy last one on this wonderful series. I particulary like the very clever plot twist, but sorry, NO Spoilers :)In all aspects it is as smooth as the other two and all four of the previous heroines are in here, too. Drew's niece Gia is a wonderful addition to the cast.

I highly recommend this series!

Ella used to be a privileged party girl, then she met Mariana, Shelby, Dru and Victoria. She was hired by them to interest investors in their wonderful business. Dru's niece Gia has moved to Texas to work in an art gallery. It's at aunt Dru's work she meets Ella and sparks fly. Ella fights her feelings for Gia because she's afraid that she'll mess things up, but Gia believes in her and them. They decide to be "just" friends, until Vegas. What a lovely, loving book! 5 stars!!

Youthful hearts and wise women make a great journey.

I was given an ARC copy by the author and I bought it too because Jamey Moody just writes the best stories.
This is book 3 in the second Chance romance series.
Gia and Ella come from wealthy families. The "privileged" life allows options but these two want to give/be more. Gia and Ella meet and the spark is there. They fight it but they are drawn together. The awesome twists and magic moments makes this a great read. They are a young couple but their hearts are so wonderful. It was fun to see this group build a family and embrace life. I loved this story

Jamey Moody is a dependable romance writer that readers know they can rely on. She writes with real passion, building her tales on strong dialogue and relatable characters. The Woman I Found in Me is no different; it’s heartfelt and swoon worthy. Readers are quickly swept up in the passion and romance of this contemporary love story.

The Woman I Found in Me is the third and final book in the Second Chance Series. In this final book, readers journey down the road of romance with Ella and Gia, two very likable and endearing characters. They are introduced to each other through the Make It Easy Designs crew—Dru, Marina, Victoria and Shelby, characters readers know from the previous two books. Together these six women form a tight-knit group and the perfect support for Ella and Gia to find themselves and build the life they desire.

The romance between Ella and Gia is sweet and tender. It’s built on a quick and easy friendship, one that gives the romance the substance it needs. It’s convincing as well as inspiring. Readers will be drawn to Ella and Gia’s love story as they find their way to one another; the emotional honesty is touching. There are some unexpected twists and turns along the way, but that’s what makes this romance fun. The HEA is well done and matches the life these ladies want, and that’s something readers can always get behind.

Final remarks…

The Woman I Found in Me is the ultimate romantic escape. It’s a romance built around two strong women striving to be the best versions of themselves. Their romantic arc is sexy and full of heart. However, it’s complex and layered enough not to feel full of fluff. There’s an emotional strength to it that feels real and honest. Ella and Gia take readers through the ups and downs of turning a friendship into a romance and it’s well worth the ride.

Strengths…

Passionate storytelling
Likable characters
Likable supporting characters
Compelling storyline
Immersive story world
A “whisk me away” romance

Make It Easy

Ella was finally succeeding at her work in the business world with her friends. When Dru’s niece come to Dallas to work in an art gallery, she finds a friend. As their friendship grows into a beautiful love she is panicked by thoughts of messing up. A story of friends and family and making life easy. Love the series and author.

This is another book with some of my best friends. To me, all Jamey Moody's books are that way. It was time for Ella's story. Ella had got to the point where she wanted to make something of herself. Not just be the party girl, with parent's money. Dru's niece, Gia, came to Dallas to work in an art gallery. Instant attraction. Gia wants more, Ella is scared she will screw everything up. I always go to a Jamey book if I need a feel-good story. She has a way of drawing her readers into the life of her characters. I really enjoyed the twist and turns. And catching up with Dru and Marina, Shelby and Victoria. I highly recommend all of Jamey's series. Especially this one. Enjoy.

Ella and Gia meet and hit it off right away however, the decision to stay just friends was made by Ella so she didn't 'fuck up' the family dynamics of the friendship group and her work. However the more time they spend together the more they realise that want to be more than friends.

When a trip to Vagus for a work event - that the whole gang attend as a mini vacation, turns into something more, they both have to deal with the consequences. Does what happens in Vagus really stay in Vagus?

This is yet another fantastic book for this epic series! Jamey has once again written another fantastic, amazing, brilliant book! It is beautifully written, and I couldn't put it down! I can't wait to read more from Jamey.

This book is highly recommended along with the other two books in the serise - "The Woman At The Of The Stairs" & "The Woman How Climed A Mountain" If you haven't read them, go read them NOW! These are both equally as fabulous as this one!

Star rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (for all three books)

This delightful love story is just the last in this series of wonderful, poignant love stories.

Jamey Moody has written yet another home run to complete this series. The characters meld together to form a large family each with their own strengths to bring into the group to make a whole, both personally and as a business team. I loved how the interactions grounded the two main characters and drew them together. There is no better love story then one with love at first sight. Jamey has not failed to bring us to a wonderful conclusion with this love filled satisfying story.

We meet Ella and Gia, Ella was introduced in the previous books, if you haven’t read them, please do.
Gia is the niece of Dru, like Dru she has her Italian roots.
When Ella and Gia meet, they fall in love hard, they both want to keep their friends happy and don’t rush into this love.
When they go to Las Vegas for an Expo, a big party, lot’s of drinks, love and I do’s…….. Next day they don’t remember……

If you want to know how it ends, please read the book. I couldn’t keep my eyes dry in the end.
Jamey, is an amazing author, she gives the characters real depth and make them feel like family when you read the novels.
I hope she’ll keep on writing.

I just love all Ms Moody’s books, she has a lovely writing style that is easy and interesting to follow. This is the 3rd book in the Second Chance Series. Is a stand alone, but I would highly recommend reading the other two for some background characters. Ella and Gia are in their twenties, both not looking for love, but are surrounded by it. Ella has been flaky in the past, but now has a sensible job and wants to be taken seriously. Gia is more fun loving and wants to see Ella have more fun. They get together and this makes for a lovely, minimal aghast story. A book for a lazy afternoon read. Would highly recommend.

Ella works with Victoria and the others at the Make It Easy Design business that was formed in the previous story. Since she has led a privileged life, and with her parents' connections, her job is to help garner investors. She loves being a part of something to show that she's more than her pampered upbringing. She hopes this is her second chance at really being someone who is committed, someone who matters. Ella is great at her job, but doesn't feel free to be herself until she meets Gia.

Gia comes to live with her Aunt Dru, another member of this fabulous design family. She has just captured an internship at the prestigious art gallery in town. Gia is full of life, joy and happiness and these infectious qualities draw Ella toward her. They become insta friends since both gals are in their twenties, commited to their jobs and want to prove themselves to the others, as well as to themselves.

Jamey Moody is masterful at writing about love: both platonic and romantic. With her loving writing and the friendship of all the design family, this is a compelling story of a young woman's journey to become the person she was meant to be. The weekend in Vegas adds lots of layers, and humor, to this story and the epilogue is absolutely delicious. I just love these women and wholeheartedly recommend this entire series!

This is Ella's story and like always Jamey delivers. There lots of laughter and love in this one. Gia who is Dru's niece moves to Dallas and the moment she sets her eyes on Ella everything changes. Throughout we get to witness how their love grows between them and also more importantly we get to know what's up with the whole gang. Then they all took a trip to Vegas and that's where everything changed. There is so much love in this book. One of the best.

I loved this book from beginning to end. I totally recommend it.

I received a free copy of this book and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book delivers the perfect, heartfelt ending to the Second Chance Series—one that circles beautifully back to Ella, the woman who quietly stole our attention in Book 1 and lingered in the background of Book 2. This time, though, the spotlight is fully hers, and the story does not disappoint.

Ella’s journey feels deeply relatable. She embodies that universal struggle so many of us face: being our own harshest critic. Her fear of messing up becomes a wall she keeps running into, and watching her navigate that internal battle is both emotional and empowering. The author handles her growth with such care that you can’t help but root for her every step of the way.

And then… Vegas. Because of course. What better place for a turning point than the city where *what happens there, stays there*—unless it leads you exactly where you’re meant to be. Ella and Gia are a perfect match, their chemistry effortless and their connection genuine. Seeing them come together felt like watching two puzzle pieces finally click.

One of the most enjoyable parts of this book—and the series as a whole—is the support system surrounding the main characters. Familiar faces from previous books show up in meaningful ways, and the involvement of the parents adds warmth and depth without ever tipping into unnecessary drama. In fact, that’s one of the rare joys of this series: it doesn’t rely on trauma or chaos to keep you turning pages. Instead, it leans into love, growth, and second chances in the truest sense.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series from start to finish. Book 3 ties everything together with heart, humor, and a satisfying sense of closure. Ella’s story was worth the wait, and this finale leaves you smiling long after the last page.

A Sweet, Loving and Well Supported Love Story!

Being a fan of Jamey’s work, I know what I can expect. Honesty, loyalty and respect. Her storytelling is low angst, has supportive relationships and some serious loving. “The Woman I Found In Me” exceeded my expectations. The third installment in the Second Chance series has the gang all together again with a new friend. Gia, is Dru’s niece and is here to live with her and Marina while working at a local art gallery. When Gia and Ella meet there are sparks and interest. This is where it exceeds my expectations. These two are in their early twenties. A difference from the other four women in this group. Women we now know and love so how do these young individuals fit in. Jamey handle the storyline with humor and love. Completely backed by the supporting cast, these two characters fit in perfectly together and the emotions they are dealing with after a Vegas trip are answered not with their self doubt but with the love and support of their “family” and friendships. Love is all around and you will love the future epilogue, I did!!!! Another win for Jamey 💕

I enjoyed the first two books in the series quite a bit. And since this author usually doesn't throw in unexplained dark moments, I decided to take a chance on it. (Generally i am on a wlw-romance hiatus, because i have read too many that throw in dark moments at the 80% or 90% mark that negate the HEA if not the whole book for me). Happily this book had a lot of communication. It was really fun to watch the relationship grow, though Ella seemed unconvinced for a while. To that end, if I had any complaints it would be about Ella's arc.

title: The Woman I Found In Me (Second Chance Series Book 3)
Author: Jamey Moody

I am happy to finish a series. It has given me so much joy and happiness. Whenever I read Jamie’s books they always reach me.
.

I would recommend all of the books in this series. They can be read as stand alone. it a beautiful series about a group of women who grow and developed together. They were able to make peace with the person they love the most.

I really enjoyed Ella. You get to see how she has evolved from the first book to now. She has truly come into her own as a woman and she has found a peace, that I felt like at the first book, she had not seen in her self yet.

Ella was able to find love and the other part of her heart that was missing. Gia never wanted to be apart from Ella. My favorite quote in the book “make it easy”.

Jamey Moody's book, "The Woman I Found in Me", with the main characters of Ella and Gia was another great read. It is not surprising, given that the author never disappoints me. There was the most incredible twist that I didn't see coming, but I sure loved it when it did.

Other characters were familiar from previous books and I always love seeing them pop up again. It also gives the author another chance to expand on their personalities if they want to; and this can be interesting for the reader as well.

The setting was so good, I think Jamey could easily get another book if she wanted to. I did love this story. Thank you Jamey for another great read.

When I started this book I was feeling a bit under the weather, but by the time I finished it I was feeling much better! The feel-good-stories that Jamey writes can make anyone better, physically and mentally!
Anyway, Gia and Ella find that what started as a friendship developed into something much more. It even include a crazy night in Las Vegas! This is a wonderful story of how friends can become lovers and partners.
If you like happy endings or just want a good mushy, love story read this book!
