Created in the secret place where heaven whispers loudly, Wildflower Pages is a collection of poetry that carries peace, joy, and love—precious gifts given to us by God. Inspired by the never-toiling, never-striving wildflowers in Luke 12:27, this book is for anyone looking to exchange the burden of perfection for a carefree day in the fields with a loving Father.
from the very first page, this book felt like home to me. i knew, instantaneously, that this would be a 5 star read for me. 🌷🌸🍒 inspired by the wildflowers in luke 12:27 (one of my favorite Bible verses), these poems and illustrations bring beauty and wonder and whimsy. i am so grateful for this little treasure. it found me at just the right time.
“tend to your heart-garden faithfully for inside it lives who you really are provide enough living water and keep the roots healthy above all give it a daily dose of the Son’s light”
Sweet poetry that makes me fall in love with the Lord even more! “In seeking Jesus life grows quietly sweeter, not because the road is easy, but because I hold with trembling hope the hem of His garment and in that simple grasp healing comes to my heart and a joy so deep it cannot be explained aloud.”
A garden of flowers: these poems feel like flowers with faces turned towards the sun, dancing in the wind with praise, blooming under God's goodness and grace. I love how the sections are named after flowers. The poems are thoughtful, simple, and sweet, much like flowers offered to God's altar.
I first discovered Brittany Litster's @wildflowerpages poetry on Instagram and I grew fond of reading her gentle devotional poems. This book was one of my first Kindle purchases from the devotional poetry genre, and also my first read from her collection. I'm hoping to read more of her books and hopefully, physical copies, too.
I got this from a secret Santa and it was lovely. A perfect book of poetry for the dry season I’m in. Here’s one of my favorite poems:
don’t rush what happens in the ground we are buried like seeds not to be hidden but to be protected in His garden no season is wasted when we wait on God we break through the surface right on heaven’s time
2025 has been a year where I started reading poetry, and followed this great account on Instagram. I later decided to buy the artists book and would read a couple poems almost daily as I found so many gems within, pointing the reader to Christ, and providing great hope.
I found Wildflower Pages on Instagram and fell in love with Brittany Litster beautiful words. I am so glad I now have her book. I took my time reading each poem and found some favorites. Now I can't wait to share them with others!
this was a breath of fresh air. the poems were written from such a tender and sweet place and are so good for the soul. will be rereading multiple times- this is the type of book you keep on your nightstand & reference often <3 full of encouragement for every walk of life!
This is just not a style of poetry I love. There is a lack of structure and depth; the poems are short and straightforward. I do recognize that a lot of people love this modern, Instagram-friendly poetry, but it’s not for me. That being said, there were a handful of poems that included some unique turns of phrase, and I did find the actual content appealing. I appreciated the stripped down basic truths about God that I could consume in one bite—good reminders of who we are and who He is.
“Created in the secret place where Heaven whispers loudly.” What a beautiful little book full of poems inspired by the wildflowers. This is the type of book you can open up to any page, and be left with a little flower to carry with you throughout your day. I know I’ll be returning to it again and again. 🌸💐🌺🌻
i was deeply touched by this beautiful work of art. it was so refreshing & healing to the soul. you could feel the love for God speak through to you. so many things altered my mind. this will truly help you grow in your relationship with Jesus. it carries a form of comfort & warmth. i am in love with this & will definitely recommend it everyone i know! <33
OPEN UP only when we open all of ourselves to God can we begin to know who we truly are for in Him rests our identity and outside of Him merely a shadow of it
this was such a sweet read. i loved being able to grow closer to God through these beautiful poems.
I’ve been wanting to read this book for a while. I loved the imagery and Christian perspective of the poetry. It is easy to read and uplifting. This is one I feel I’ll probably read pieces of again and again at leisure.
I appreciated the imagery and the simplicity of the book itself, however; I ended up flying through the book in one night. I prefer more “meat” in poetry. Some beautiful reminders though that I highlighted.
Some good Christian poetry that I got good reminders from and some I thought were a bit cheesy for my taste. Very simple poetry that I flew through. Not my preference but might be someone else’s.
This poetry was soul soothing and gave gentle yet solid scripture-rooted reminders of God's promises in a beautiful way. I really enjoyed the wildflowers as symbols and metaphors woven throughout.
“the more I seek Him the more I notice flowers landing next to my feet birds singing outside my window all love letters from the God who knows no coincidence”
