Cassie Howe is a descendant of the infamous Salem witches. Tasked with protecting the veil and the sleepy little town of Mystic Hallows, she begins the Festival of the Dead and the month-long celebration of Samhain. When Cassie encounters a sinister presence that threatens to wipe out the Salem bloodlines, she'll have to join forces with a cast of unlikely heroes to protect her powerful Howe lineage from evil and help prevent an uprising. But nothing is easy. Trouble follows the Howe family like a curse. As Samhain thins the veil between the living and the dead, how will Cassie prevent evil from taking over Mystic Hallows and stealing her magic? Something wicked this way comes . . .
AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a romance about a snarky, stubborn witch who doesn't have to choose between multiple love interests to find her HEA. Not suitable for anyone under 18. Contains dark themes, violence, paranormal elements, a little humor, and a handful of sinful immortals. The series should be read in order.
Welcome to Mystic Hallows, home to thirteen witch covens that keep the veil between the living and the dead closed. It's a world of monsters, mayhem, and magic where the ancestors of the powerful Salem witches of the past struggle to keep balance. Discover supernatural mystery, thrills, danger, and romance in a place where everyone has a deep, dark, and often deadly secret.

I really like the covers of the books in this series.
Book 1 in a Paranormal Reverse Harem Romance series takes place during the Samhain and festival of the dead, and follows a young witch, Cassandra (Cassie). During the celebrations, dark witchcraft by an unknown source harms/threatens Cassie and those she knows/cares for, so Cassie attempts to find out who is responsible, as she does she finds herself dealing with three immortal men, who show a keen interest in her.
This was a relatively nice light quick read. There were some small moments of humour and I did like some of the interactions between vampire Damien and witch Cassie.
The premise had potential to be something awesome but the execution was just ok, more needed to be written. A longer book would have also allowed the characters to be more dynamic and layered.
Overall, I did like this read, but in all honesty, I don’t think I’ll re-read this for a long, long time if ever, and it hasn’t left a potent imprint on my memory.
This book ends with a cliff-hanger so I will be acquiring the second book via kindle unlimited to see what happens.
What a great foundation to this fast-paced, high-energy series and it looks to be heating up in following additions!
Cassie, a direct descendant to the Salem witches finds herself a target to a dark and sinister entity and her new-found protectors are the most unlikely group of supernaturals to come together!
Nikki Landis has set the stage, introduced the characters and promises some sizzling interaction in this paranormal reverse harem series! Humor, heat and one colorful heroine promise to entertain readers completely. If Cassie doesn’t do it, I promise, the werewolf, vampire and ghoul are going to make this rollercoaster ride HOT!
BLACK MAGIC VOODOO has it all, from witty dialogue to dark villainy to the promise of even more great reading to come!

This is an amazing story or a strong willed fierce girl ..who is in for the shock of a lifetime when she is matched by a dark force .. she is then left up to her devices and the help of her friends to find out why she is a target. This book is a fun rollercoaster of emotions and humor .. I could not put it down .. absolutely amazing .. can not wait for the rest of the series
Wow! I have a new favorite Witch series. Black Magic Voodoo incorporates the Salem witch trials, pagan witchcraft, voodoo, lycans, vampires, ghouls, spirits and a Samhain celebration into one cohesive and completely intoxicating story. Cassie is a total badass who is completely devoted to her family and trying to make sense of all that is happening around her. Each of her protectors are given distinct personalities and the interactions when all of them are together are amusing. I can’t wait to read the next one. Black Magic Voodoo, Mystic Hallows Harem #1 by Nikki Landis is an amazing story to read. This amazing story has witches, werewolves, vampires, ghouls and all other types of supernaturals in this whole book. I can not wait to read second episode to come out so I can read it. I love this story and I highly recommend it to everyone who loves paranormal stories.

This was a very great beginning to Cassie story I can't wait to see how her relationship to this hot werewolf, ghoul, vampire and maybe one more but I need the next one to find out who would it be. It definitely has this intense moments that have made me so anxious to get the next chapter as soon as possible to learn and discover more of Cassie life.
Black Magic Voodoo by Nikki Landis is a reverse harem paranormal romance. This is a very well written novella. The main protagonist is a witch, Cassie. The story revolves around Cassie and her three potential partners—werewolf, vampire, and a ghoul. World building is remarkable as the author flawlessly sets up the story in a mysterious town of Mystic Hallows. I give full stars to Ms. Landis’ lucid writing. The reason I have deducted a star is that the plot could have been made a little more tighter. More intrigue and sizzling chemisteries between the leads could have added more spice to this otherwise flawlessly done book. All in all, a well written paranormal romance book that could make any paranormal romance reader glued to it till the very end. Waiting for the second installment in the series.
Nice story. A witch and her gardians : a werewolf, vampire, ghoul and witch hanger. They fight an evil enemy. Well written and nicely created characters. Lots of action. Pleasurable read.

Wow!! Not even sure where to begin with this one!! I do know that I absolutely loved every word. The storyline was fabulous. It had everything that I love...suspense and lots of humor. I couldn't put it down.
As soon as I read the first page I was swooped in and got addicted to Cassie's story. Loved the fact she in surrounded by all these supernatural hotties. Looking forward to learning more about her life and where she goes from there. A page turner that leaves you wanting more.
A magically wicked good read In this first book, we get the basics - we get to meet our heroine - her Aunt - her Bestie and some of the members of the original 13 families - Oh and her protectors 🤤 Cassie's character is intelligent with a wickedly fun sense of humor at times she seemed a bit grumpy though she did seem to have good cause. Her calm and mundane world is about to be knocked off its axis Her "protectors" - talk about opposite attract these guys couldn't be more polar opposites - We get to meet three of the four on a somewhat personal level - the fourth is a brief encounter - I am eager to get to know how each of them got where they are - I do not want to give spoilers Great start to the series - The chemistry between the characters is perfect a little annoyance, a little laughter and a whole lot of dominance - There are some serious "Oh Hell No" moments blended with lots of action and mystery Looking forward to reading 📚the next in series
This story was my first to read by this author and I was not disappointed. There was a great mixture of the paranormal with suspense and mystery. This story intertwined the characters so well into each other that it had you guessing or better yet wondering what was coming next or who was going to do what to whom. The amount of suspense was perfect and the twists that come, you really do not see them coming, they just happen. This story will pull you in from the beginning to the end. There is plenty of humor in this story with its moments of seriousness and the plot line was well developed throughout the story. This story builds as you go through and read it, perfectly leading up to the next event and so on. I look forward to reading the next in the series and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

5 wicked stars for Episode 1! I was spellbound by this reverse harem story and couldn’t put my kindle down. Cass is one of the Salem Witch descendants and now that the festival of the dead has begun, evil is determined to win. This is a great PNR read filled with suspense and laughter. In this episode were introduced to a vampire, a werewolf and a ghoul. Each one of these men have their own personalities and my favorite is Gabe and the possessiveness he gently shows. Ryder is quiet for the most part but absolutely hilarious at the same time and then there’s Damian, this man infuriates me with his mindset but I love it at the same time. The way this story is told we’re given the precise about of detail that has a movie playing in your minds eye as you read and I cannot wait to see what’s to come in the upcoming episodes. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
Strange things started happening in Mystic Hallow exactly on the day Samhain was to begin. Damian Rockcastle, a vampire .. Gabriel Alton, a Lycan or Werewolf … Ryder a Ghoul showed up acting as if it were coincidence but knowing Cassie and having answers. Things Cassie didn't immediately understand. Once again, Nikki Landis has created a world full of magic, both good and evil, with a plot so intense it will leave chills and characters that will make you laugh, shed a tear, while infusing you with loyalty. All the while, you'll be infused with indignation and outrage at the evil she has created in this story. What an enchanting tale and what promises to be an outstanding series. Congratulations once again!!

Nikki Landis has outdone herself with this sexy Harem. An intense Vampire, a panty meltingly hot Werewolf, and a sexy, soulful Ghoul, add in a mysterious Hunter and you have one wicked reverse harem. Nikki captivates us with these dark alpha males and we've got one helluva storyline to get wrapped into. Samhain, the festival of the dead, has brought up some sensual visitors to the town of Mystic Hallows and they all have their eyes set on the sultry Cassandra. Add in a centuries-old curse, an evil that lurks in the dark and is after Cassie, and you have one wicked badass tale. Trust me lovelies, this harem will leave you purring for the next episode in this steamy series. A highly recommended series.
I really liked this first book in this series. The way this series is being written it will release another book in 2 months but man that is so long away. I didn't want to put this book down once I started reading it. I also feel bad for Cassie because no one is giving her the full story but she seems to be taking all the hits. This is described as a slow burn harem and there is nothing wrong with that. This story gets built up nicely and then leaves you hanging because you want to read more and quickly. I can't wait for the next book to come out. I will be following this series until the end.

Nikki Landis has sucked me into another series that leaves me craving more. I generally do not care for PNR but this author has me hooked on her style. This slow burn as she describes it is killing me. It's my first reverse harem too. Each one of these men have already hooked me. Strangly, Ryder, the zombie, has the biggest pull on me. He's quiet and gross. Eating zombie flesh... ewww. But I am a huge Walking Dead fan so maybe that is part of the draw. I cant wait to read more about the witches and other creatures. Mainly I can't wait to get to the juicy sexy parts. Nikki Landis has brainwashed me into loving her PNR story again.
I love reading this author when she goes dark... adding that mix of mild horror and suspense with her style of paranormal romance. However, I think the next instalment is going to be a little more erotic than this one. This story starts with a young witch whose family are descendants of the Salem witches, there are three hunky immortals interested in her, and there is an evil entity hunting her; a spicy mix for readers. If you enjoy reading Nikki Landis, you'll be mad to miss out on this one.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story with it's ups and downs, an interesting twist for a RH but interesting enough to keep me reading and really looking forward to any next one if there is a series. This author has a great imagination and it really shows in the way they write. This is the first of this authors I have read and it has left me wanting more.

Witches, Vampires, Werewolves, Ghouls. This book has every element I love in a good pnr. Wonderful characters and an awesome storyline. I really enjoyed every word and couldn't stop reading.
Action packed, sexy, exciting and engaging set of adventures filled with magical and interesting charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and emotionally thrilling turns. Great reading!
This book is clean for a harem series. All you get so far is kissing. You meet Cassie Howe who has just her Aunt Gwen and her cousin Gypsy remaining of her family. The story tells you about the 13 original members of the Salem Family of witches. You learn there are other families too, but they practice dark magic and are evil. There is an evil witch trying to kill members of the Salem families and then it sets it sights on Cassie who is the last Howe witch of her line. When her mother died all power transferred to her. She is not yet 21 so she is inexperienced in a lot of spelling magic and learning. Men are appearing and know her aunt, but seem to want her. Damien Rockcastle a vampire, Gabriel Alton a werewolf shifter and Ryder Steele a Ghoul. They are expecting a fourth. Cassie and the other witches are able to communicate with the spirits of the dead past members of the Salem witches so Cassie gets to communicate with her mother and they also help her and the men out. I enjoyed this story and will continue reading this series.
I do not know what it is about this book, but I devoured it despite all the typos that made me laugh (I still don't know why "They we cursed" made me laugh so hard, but it did and it was great). It had the same writing flair as Vampire in Defiance by Dale Meyer and like that series I went and bought the 4 book boxset as soon as I finished reading this book like you cannot leave me with that ending. I love the conflict between the four men and how each one is different, but yet they are all so possessive except for Ryder (he's got his own brand of special) and Kayde (I hope I spelled that right) who is a witch hunter. And knowing what I know about why they have to protect her I want to know what they did that they now have to protect Cassie. This book has me so intrigued and I love the whole concept of witches and immortals. 500 out of 5 stars.
What A great start to a new series. We meet Cassie a descendant of the original Salem witches. This makes her powerful and it just gets better as Samhaim approaches. Unfortunately evil is coming with it making her have to battle for her life while trying to discover the secrets of what is going on around her. Great world building that really brings the story to life filled with characters we can both love and hate. Perfect for fans of paranormal RH. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
This book has the first four stories in the Mystic Hollows Harem. These stories consist of the following: Black Magic Voodoo: It has nonstop action from beginning to end. There is a touch of reverse harem in this beginning story. This is not a stand alone story as it ends on a cliff hanger. This is a must read, but be prepared to be left hanging for the rest of the story. Toil and Trouble: How much trouble can one witch get into. Action packed from beginning to end. Love her Harem, such sexy characters flaws and all. Slow burn with tbeir connections. Cannot wait for a full out burn. Maybe even a pairing or grouping. She is in trouble again and I have to wait and to read the next book to see how she gets out of trouble. A good read. Witching Hour: Action packed from beginning to end. This is a must read reverse harem series. Third installment to the story has so much action and pulls on all your emotions. It also has some very hot scenes as well. Great Job. It leaves you hanging and I cannot wait for the next installment. Third Eye Blind: This fourth book in Mystic Hollows Series is the best yet by one my favorite Authors. The characters are brought to life and are very well-developed and they keep growing and their relationship is evolving into something better each book. I love their bond and how each of them has different type of bond and how the supporting characters are strong and lifelike also. A must read story and series. These are not stand-alone they need to be read in order
