Fate is a four-letter word. I know mine well. As the only female shifter in a generation, I had my pick of Alpha wolves. Each of them strong. Honorable. Suitable mates that would ensure my family’s hold on Wild Lake for decades to come. My noble duty.
But I have a secret. My unforgivable sin. I am not who they think I am. My needs are much more wicked. Only one man ever knew the truth.
I knew him only as X. The most powerful Alpha wolf I’ve ever known. My tormentor. My brother’s rival. My father’s enemy.
Though I had no choice, killing him wasn’t enough to drive him from my heart. He still makes me bend for him in my dreams. My dark cravings have only gotten stronger with time.
Now, my past has caught up with me. My brother has gone missing in the ruins of Chicago. To find the men who took him, I’ll have to call forth the darkest parts of myself. Dance with the devil who wants to claim me. Sometimes, deep in the night, I want him to. Except I have one last secret.
My name is Tempest. And I am the storm.
If you like your wolf shifter dudes hot, tortured, angsty, scarred, and ready to rip apart anyone who touches their fated mates, this one’s for you. This is a slow-burn, enemies to lovers paranormal romance trilogy.
Note: "Mark of the Wolf: Part One" ends with a cliff-hanger.
As a civil lawyer, I spent many, many years writing complex legal briefs for unappreciative bosses. To keep from stabbing myself (or them) in the eye with a fork during all of that, I also started writing down the stories in my head. All on my own time, of course ;) Turns out, I'm a sucker for hot, alpha male shifters and kickass heroines.
Now, I've thrown away my shingle (er - more like burned it in a fire pit) so I can devote my time to bringing you sizzling, erotic, paranormal romance stories. If you like hunky, bad boy shifters, women who know what they want in and out of the bedroom, panty-melting sex scenes, and edge of your seat suspense, I've got you covered! We'll put the rahr in erotic romance (okay, okay, that sounded better in my head).

Mark of the Wolf is part one in a new series which is a spin off from Wild Lake Wolves and also the second generation/children born from these couplings❣️
Tem is determined to find her twin brother who left Wild Lakes a few years ago. Having traced him to Chicago, she sets a plan in motion that has significant ramifications and consequences😢 Anson is one of the Alpha wolves she’s drawn to and vice versa but she tries to hold on to her secrets, however, it’s unclear how long this will last as her presence itself has brought more rogue wolves to the area than ever before😳
I’m excited to see what happens in part two🤩 I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review❤️
I love Kimber White, and how many of her books exist in the same world. This is a new concept where the trilogy seems bro be tied together to make one book. That is not ever my favorite way to read, although many authors do write that way. I this book the author brings together many characters from her early stories as a base line for this new trilogy. The story was fast pasted and full of actions and kept you supposed and the the end so well done. I'm looking forward to part two.
I like Tempest. She is very in tune with her other side. She knows that her quest is going to turn out badly, but she still perseveres because the harsh truth is more important than the false possibility.
Whew...what an action packed, exciting, steamy start to the Mark of the Wolf Trilogy. Filled with lies, deceit, twists, turns and steam, this one is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out the who, what, where and when!
There is intrigue in this novel. Anson, MMC, was a character to trust and love. This would have been a better read if there was less ambiguities and plot contradictions. The author leaves it so you have no idea where she is going with the next book in this saga nor the story itself.
A great start to a new series. Well written with great characters. Once you start you won't put it down. I can't wait for the next book. I was given an advanced reader copy and I voluntarily leave this review.
