This is the conclusion to my Bayou Stix Series.
This is right on the line of being my favorite of the series.
I threw some suspense in this one and even surprised myself.
I do hope you fall as in love with Cruz and Tifanie as I am.
This also contains a SERIES epilogue.

WOW!! talk about going out with a BANG!! Skye Turner did not disappoint in Alluring Surrender - the last installment to her rockin' hot Bayou Stix series. First I want to say that the whole time i was reading this book was a little bitter sweet..kind of like saying Goodbye to an old sweet friend moving on to bigger and better things. I have LOVED this series since the start and was so ready to delve deeper into the moody but oh so swoon worthy drummer boy, Cruz- what is it about those boys who need to come to terms with that they ARE worth loving! Skye has always done a fantastic job with her characters and describing them so that you feel like they live next door to you or are the BFF that you can talk to about anything. This time it is Tifanie - and I have to say truly she may be one of my ALL Time favorite characters of all times- I mean who does not love a a sweet fun loving girl that is not afraid to do anything to be the person she wants to be not what her family says she should be. Plus it does not hurt that she is a bad ass :)She wants Cruz and decides that not even his totally messed up past is going to get in her way. Skye takes us on one wild ride like no other she has done before and I must say I really Loved it. Can not wait for future series or works from this author.

First of all, I want to say, I cried a bit when I finished this book because I didn't want it to end! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Bayou Stix series and Alluring Surrender was an amazing ending to it.
Cruz Edwards is the drummer for Bayou Stix. On the outside, he's a rock god but on the inside, he's a tortured soul. Tifanie Jeffries is a independent woman who broke the yoke of her upbringing when she dropped the Bellaforte name. She's an amazing and strong woman who let's nothing stand in her way of what she wants no matter what anyone thinks.
Tifanie decides she wants Cruz, even though he is sure he's not good enough for her and Cruz is trying to do everything he can to push her away. When Tif finally puts a crack in his wall, it was HOT HOT HOT! Add in some crazy relatives, great friends helping, and love conquering everything, you have a 5 star read!
Skye Turner pulled out all of my emotions in this book. I laughed, cried, got mad, frustrated, cheered, and the extra added suspense thrown in, had me biting my nails. This is the final book in the Bayou Stix Series by Author Skye Turner. I had the pleasure and honor of being a beta reader for Mrs. Turner. This final book was absolutely fabulous and was the perfect story to end the series. It is my favorite book of the series and Cruz and Tifanie are my favorite Bayou Stix couple.
Cruz is so untrusting and cautious because of his past. He, of course, has every right to be. Tifanie is the exact saving grace he needs. They go together so perfectly. She brings out what has been dormant in him for years. She shows him that he is worth loving and will stop at nothing to prove that. This is a beautiful story of how a strong woman saves a man from himself and his fears. Mrs. Turner tells the story beautifully. You will not be disappointed.
The book ends with an epilogue to wrap up the entire series. Let me tell you, this epilogue made me so incredibly happy. Everything you wonder about the band and their significant others is resolved. It takes place in the near future and you will be just a thrilled as I was to see where their lives are.
I loved this series so much and will be forever grateful to have been a part of it. I was very sad to see it end. However, I can't wait to see what Mrs. Turner has in store for us next!

So sad this series is over, but wow it's one of my fav series EVER!!!
Cruz, oh my dear Cruz. This poor man is so pained from his past and afraid to see the real man he's become.
Tif, gotta love this chick. She's independent, determined and willing to fight for what she wants...even if it goes against what her family expects of her.
These two characters are set to win one another over, but not before their worlds try to tear them apart. I enjoyed seeing their strengths overcome their weakness and in the end a valuable lesson that is learned.
The ending brought me to tears in more ways than one. Six years of friendships turned into so much more...I love Bayou Stix and everything they represent. #teamliam

More the 5 stars needed ......
So the last stix boy to fall was Cruz he's had a tough life and felt he wasn't good enough for anyone that was until he meet Tifanie.
Tifanie may sound like your average girl but she aint she has spunk and a whole lot of it nor without her faults either in my eyes there perfect for each other.
We find out a bit more about Cruz past and why he is the way he is and a little about Tifanie too.
Holy f#@k at the epilogue I was close to tears in fact I did have tears when I read it I was so happy for the way it finished.

Skye has done it again. This does have more annoying tendencies (you want to slap the characters more often than not)but it's a great wrap up to the series. I'm going to miss my boys. Luckily I can visit them any time I want.

Crazy good!
Book 5 in the Bayou Stix series is an awesome culminating book. Full of thrill and drama, but also emotional and engaging. Cruz and Tiffanie are destined to be. But while one is determined and confident the other is closed and turbulent. Both have outstanding careers. Two successful humans who strive daily to better who they are and what they do. It's nice that the band and other friends continue to demonstrate that friendship is important too! I love how the series ends. Lots of children and elders to complete the nuclei...I wish Skye Turner lots of success. I too would like to write and create my own world of fiction!

March 21, 2017I'm only 18% into this book and already the authors sloppy timeline is annoying me. In the previous book Clove was 6 months pregnant, the story moved along about 3 months by the time it ended and book 5 starts which made her 9 months. Now this story starts with her on bed rest as they don't want her going into labour too early, but the time of year is Sept as Cruz mentions Halloween is the next month. Seeing as how the baby's due date was 27th Aug why would Clove be on bed rest as she would be overdue. It's really frustrating me and detracting from enjoyable stories and characters.

This book was bittersweet for me.
This is book 5 in the Bayou Stix series.
All of the books in the series can be read as a stand alone, BUT I would not read this one as a stand alone. The one and only epilogue you will find in Skye's books is in this book and it is a spoiler alert!!!
I recommend to get the full affect that you read ALL of the books from the beginning. It just isn't the same when you read them out of order .. You will miss so much.
This is Cruz and Tifanie's book. I felt like Cruz was the most troubled of the group, but that might be just because I connected with him on a deeper level. I wanted to ring this guys neck at times and say wake up and OPEN those eyes!!! When bad things happen to you in your life you tend to think that you are not worthy of any love, any affection, anything period. Cruz is no exception. Cruz is fine on his own, he feels like he is too damaged for anyone to love. He barely can stand the site of himself. I really think he feels lucky to have the people that he does in his life and he is happy with that. That is until Tifanie comes sauntering in. She is a fire ball, a force to be reckoned with. She will not take no for an answer. She is willing to show Cruz just what he is worth and more. She won't give up and she is willing to stay around for the long haul. BUT Cruz has other plans. Can Tifanie convince him that she is worth it? That they are worth it?
This book is a page turner right from the beginning and never slows down. These two together are smoking hot, just like all of Skye's other characters. She sure knows how to find the perfect matches. I do love how Cruz had to deal with Cruz before he could even realize that he should be with Tifanie. There were so many sad situations where I just wanted to take this man and cuddle up with him and tell him everything would be okay. The things that Cruz has been through would have broken anyone else. He is weak and he is scarred, but he is strong and he is beautiful. He just has to find his purpose, his reason. Cruz is a beautiful tortured soul. Tifanie is just the one who said I am not giving up on you. I see inside and I love what I see and I will spend my whole life showing you that it is beautiful.
You don't want to miss this book. As I stated it was bittersweet for me. I had to say goodbye to my Bayou Stix crew. The ending will have you cheering and shedding a few tears. I am so sad to read the last book in this series, but I look forward to reading more from this talented author. She has a fan for life. Thank you Skye for this spectacular series. You get a little bit of everything in these books. You will be able to relate to at least one or more of the books. So don't wait pick up your copy of Alluring Surrender today!!

The epilogue , the ending OMG say it isn't true , this cannot be the end....but since it is it could not have ended in a better place and the epilogue was just so heartwarming and bittersweet. Thank you so much for this fabulous series I am thrilled I was able to take part in all the events on my blog for these wonderful books !! These guys are hot , alpha and just sexy as sin. The chicks are bad A$$ and not to be messed with !! The combo of couples , family and friends is just electric !! Never any shortage of drama , love and sex !!

He doesn't feel as if he is good enough for anyone , especially her so he keeps his distance which is driving Tifanie crazy !! I LOVE TIFANIE !! No nonsense and knows what she wants. She gets sick of Cruz not making a move so she lays it all on the line. It takes a bit for Cruz to surrender but he finally does and damn these 2 are hot as sin and so good for each other. Between Tifanie's family and Cruz's past there is enough heartache and drama to destroy any couple , nevermind a young couple just starting out. Tifanie is my favorite of all the girls , damn she does not give up and I was so happy to read her strength and determination to get her man and make him realize his worth and love !! Throw in some suspense and HOLY WOW DRAMA and you have yourself a freakin fantastic story !! As always Bayou Stix rock the book world and leave me with a book hangover and sadness knowing it is the end.

YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK! I fell in love with this book just like I did with the rest of the series! Cruz and Tifanie pulled me right into thier story and I could not leave until it was done. Once it was done though I still did not want to leave and was sad it was over. I was great to be able to get to know Cruz finally. While reading my heart just broke for him and everything he has had to deal with during his life. Cruz has a huge a heart but he has s omany demons that make him very closed off unless your in his tight circle of friends and family. Then in walks Tifanie! I love her! She is the complete opposite of Cruz! She may be my favorite female in this series and possibly my favorite female in a book that I have read in a long time. I admire her attitude! She goes after what she wants and is not afraid to speak her peace! As these two both face down thier demons and help each other I went through so many emotions!
I was sad to see this book end and the epilogue at the end was a nice way to wrap up the entire Bayou Stix Series! I am so sad to see it end! This series will be one that stays with me!

Great Ending
This was a great ending to a great series. So sad to let the boys of Bayou Stix go but excited to see what Skye has planned next for us.
This final chapter is Cruz's story. He and his mom come from a troubled past. Tiffani is from a well privileged background but doesn't use her family name and money in life. She works hard at love and life working as an EMT.
This book was completely different than any other in the series and also unlike any other I've read. This book had the heroine be the fighter. Tiffani fights for Cruz no matter how much he pushes her away or thinks he doesn't deserve her. She is strong and fights for him. I don't usually like to see the hero fight feelings so much. I want him to want his heroine and stop at nothing to get her but somehow this worked. It was refreshing to have a woman go after what she wanted and tell her man I know you want me and you love me. I won't let you deny us both our happiness.
I would have liked to see what could have happened between Ty, who is Tiffani's partner and good friend, and Tiffani's sister AnnaBeth. I think that pairing would have been interesting maybe Ty could have been the one to break her hard prissy exterior. Lol

Cruz the shyest of the band member has finally found the woman to make him happy. If only he would let her.
Tiffanie has finally found the man of her dreams. If only he wanted to let her in.
This book is filled with a roller coaster of emotions. It is also filled with the love of all of the band member of Bayou Stix and their woman. I was so happy that the dynamics of the first 4 books was still in place, so much so that the gang plays a huge part in making sure that Cruz is happy. Cruz has sheltered himself in guilt, for his mother and the man that he is. But this guilt is misplaced and Tiffanie has made it her mission to show him how much more he is not only on the inside but on the outside.
I loved this book. I loved the way it begins and I love the way it ends with a glimpse of the future giving every fan of the series a huge smile. I know it put one on my face! I love Cruz and I love the gang of Bayou Stix!!!

I fell in love with Bayou Stix and Skye Turner back in June at the Southern Women's book signing. Fell in love with author and her infectious personality. It led me to read her books. Her hot characters and addictive writing style sold me on the series. I have loved each band member throughout this series but my favorite remains to be Jessie. I am hot for a sexy foul mouthed man! This is the story of the wounded and closed off Cruz. He is a tortured soul and he stole my heart as all the band members who came before him. This series has taken me on one hell of a ride! I have loved every minute of it. I hate to see it end. I know I will revisit it often. I cherish my signed copy and all my swag. I look forward to what the amazing Skye Turner has for me next!!!!

Cruz's story was the most intriguing of the series because other than a comment here or there, he really doesn't give details about who he is until his story. Tiffany meets him at a band member's house when there is an emergency because of her job as an EMS. Alluring Surrender was the perfect ending to this amazing series. Tifanie Omg! What a little feisty ball of fire. A fighter!! She fights for what she wants and she doesn't ever back down. There really is no push and pull because she doesn't allow the sexy handsome drummer Cruz to give up.
Cruz Edwards is the quiet one of Bayou Stix. But he's hiding some of his demons. Tifanie is going to try and break down the walls that Cruz has built up. Hold on and enjoy this ride. It's the last book of the series and I'm sad to see it end. But Mrs Turner has given us such a great ending that is true to her writing and entraps us from the first page to the last. I'm very excited to read more of Skye Turner. She is absolutely brilliant.

Oh, this story is so bittersweet for me. Cruz & Tifanie's story is the last in the fabulous Bayou Stix series. I'm sorry to see the end of this story, but the entire series is on my re-read list, so they'll always be with me! : )
Cruz has such a hard time believing in love, believing HE is lovable, and Tifanie is the PERFECT yin to his yang, because she has enough fight in her for both of them. It was really refreshing to read about a guy - a big, strong, tough guy - being so vulnerable. This might just be my favorite of the series. And the epilogue? I LOVE a good epilogue, and this wasn't just good. This epilogue was BRILLIANT!

Yesterday I read book 5, Alluring Surrender, of the Bayou Stix series by Skye Turner. She definitely saved the best for last. Cruz came from a terrible beginning and because of it and a few other things, he doesn't feel good enough for any woman, let alone, Tifanie. But Tifanie is not one to back down from a challenge and when she wants something like she wants Cruz, she goes after it 1000%. He pushes her away, she pushes back.
This book has a lot more action in it than the others and Cruz is definitely the most broken of the band members. Up until the end, I didn't know if Tif was going to win over him or not. And of course, at the end of Alluring Surrender, we get a very nice epilogue, letting us know how all the band members, their women, and their families are doing.

The end of the Bayou Stix series. Bittersweet! A great end to a great series. Cruz thinks he doesn't deserve to be happy. He feels unworthy of love because of how he came into existence. Tifanie's blood is as blue as you can get, the opposite of Cruz, but she does not let that rule her life, she does not use her family name, she is a paramedic and lives her life without her family's help. She is one tough chick, who tells it like it is and breaks down Cruz's walls. It's a nice story with a little drama thrown in. Plus we get a look into the Bayou Stix future, 6 years down the line. Great read!!

Awesome ending to an awesome series! Cruz just melts my heart! He found the perfect woman in Tifanie! She is a strong woman and fights for what she wants! It's sad to see this series end, but Ms Turner took us through a wonderful journey with these characters! I'm so glad that the first book, Alluring Turmoil, caught my eye! It led me to a fabulous series! I have enjoyed all the characters and their development! The Bayou Stix Series rocks! If I could give it 10 stars I would.
I'm sad to see the series end, I'd like to say Skye saved the best for last and in a way a she did but the whole series is fantastic. All five guys are amazing.
Skye's leading ladies are all strong willed women and I love that, not one of them is whiny and soft. Tif is no different and she fights for what she wants, which is Cruz. It's a brilliant story line which as far as I know hasn't been touch before. The epilogue is fab completing the series with this big family of friends.

This is book 5 of the Bayou Stix Series. And Skye Turner did it again, she wrote another Amazing Book for her reader. I absolutely loved this book Cruz and Tifanie are wonderful together. They go through so much and I love that Tifanie fights for what she wants. And my heart just broke for Cruz. I hate that this series is done. I have fallen in love with all these characters. Thank you Skye I have enjoyed reading each book of this series.

Loved it!!!!!
This was a great book. The angst, and minimal self worth of the main character was counter balanced by the support and willingness to stand against all, of the other main character. The dynamic and chemistry between them was fabulous. A great ending to a fantastic series.

I have truly enjoyed all of Skye's books that I have read thus far, but Alluring Surrender is my all time favorite now. Reading the story of Tiffanie and Cruz made my heart race, swell and cry through out their journey together and the epilogue for the entire series was perfect. Well done, Skye! Another home run.

An amazing end to the series, Couldn't of ask for more, From the first book i fell in love with these characters and seeing where life took them was so great to be a part of, Thank you Skye for writing these I'm looking forward to reading more from you.
