Rafe Rider is the lead singer of Destiny Fades to Blue, the “it boys” of rock. He is living the dream… traveling the country with his band, sharing his bed with the occasional groupie, and just living large… while their singles climb the charts.

Daisy Anderson is the lead singer of Sweet Southern Sass, the sweethearts and most famous female group of the last decade in country. Their sold out tour has ended and they are enjoying the down time while they prepare their next hit album.

Signed under the same label, a cross-over tour between the sweethearts of country and the bad boys of rock is just the thing to gather fans from both genres.
As the tour rolls out and the bands are thrust together… passion and tempers ignite as the “good” girl and the “bad” boy realize they aren’t quite as different as they imagined.

I truly enjoy Rafe and Daisy. Leaders by nature they clashed in a HOT and steamy way. He eerked her just to see the flame behind the southern good girl. She tried to fight the instant urge and pushed whenever her body tried to pull.

What did it for me was his honesty on who he was and never denying what was obvious. In hind sight the reality when saw through someone elses eyes is what constitutes change. Change is different is different isn't always bad but what is needed to grow. That is what they need both as a person and artist is to grow and accept that the sudden change was what was needed at the time. Nay sayers and jealousy will always be there but if you both accept the "change" and move foward nothing can come between progress unless you allow it.

I can say I now have a new series to stalk because Skye had me wanting more when I can to the end. So now I stalk the sexy rockers and southern princesses.

Review:
Good girl country star meets bad boy eyeliner wearing rock star.
What can I say about this book? I loved it. They have such great chemistry. She just needs to learn to let go. She isn’t an angel, she also feels she isn’t his type.

Meet Daisy Anderson country singing good girl, American Sweetheart from the south. Daisy loves to sing and is best friends with her sister and bandmates.
Meet Rafe Rider a tattoo, piercing, eyeliner wearing, womanizing bad boy rocker that makes your panites melt.

When you put them together because they work for the same record label they will combust. She hates him or so she says. She does everything to piss him off. He hates her and he does everything to set her off and get under her skin. He makes sexual comments and leaves ehr flustered. They each have a misguided view of each other. Some things true some things not. He believes she is pink flowers and “girly”, she thinks he’s drugs, booze, and women. Well the women is right. He as a groupie he brings to his shows when he is on the road sometimes.

Rafe wants to get her to bed and leave it at that. She wants a relationship not a one time fling. Especially since the are going to be touring together soon.

When their record label tosses them together to record a collaborated song and do a crossover tour between badboy rockers Destiny Fades to Blue and Sweet Southern Sass. It is a big clash. They have to promote the single before the tour and end doing some radio shows. Then they are to leave on a long tour. Summer, Daisy sister and bandmate tell her to open it up and give it a try. When Daisy feels like maybe she can give things a try with Rafe, they kiss that night for the first time. However, a text happens the next morning and Daisy sees it, and his past comes back to bite him. She second guesses things with and he doesn’t understand why. They were getting along fine then, they just weren’t. Rafe is fed up and frustrated and Daisy doesn’t care. She is forgetting about him and and not wanting to be involved. Can these two people from different places find love on tour?

As a reader obsessed with rock star romances I found much about this book to capture me in its sensual web. From its sexy and larger than life bad boy rockers to the good girl country singers with hints of naughtiness longing to emerge, this story was an entertaining start to what promises to be a decadently delightful series.

Daisy and her band-mates are at the top of the charts living her life on the straight and narrow, a role model to all little girls. That all changes though the minute she meets rocker Rafe Rider in a combustible and unforgettable encounter that leaves them butting heads while wanting to jump each other's bones. From that moment on Daisy's caught up in a maelstrom of chaos and sensuality as she and the bad boy start making beautiful music together in a burgeoning relationship that's put to the test by crazed fans and a vindictive former bedmate. Daisy's a likable character whose reactions to Rafe's past is understandable. Sex means something to her but through his numerous bedmates it doesn't appear that he feels the same. In the early stages of their relationship Daisy's quick to anger, with flashes of hypocrisy, when his past is discussed. She either accepts him wholeheartedly, promiscuous encounters included, or walk away which you see her working through as the story progressed. I enjoyed seeing Daisy take a walk on the wild side and chuckled at her inner monologue over enjoying Rafe's naughty bed play. When with Rafe she was carefree, unconcerned with how others viewed her, which made her more open-minded and demonstrative.

Rafe is the exact opposite of Daisy, or so it seems. He's a bit cutting edge with an air of wildness who embraces his bad boy side. He's been with many women, enjoyed many different forms of erotic play, and owns up to his past. Once he meets Daisy, and has the harsh reality of how he lives his life shown to him, he makes changes that reflect the kind heart and romanticism hiding behind his bad boy facade. I enjoyed him pushing Daisy outside her comfort zone which resulted in scorching encounters mixed with flashes of humor. He's an honest man who never lies to Daisy, despite how jaded it makes him look at times, which had me liking him all the more and drooling over him from the first page to the last.

Along with a scorching romance between two apparent opposites who quickly find common ground in a steamy connection that brings out the best in them, comes a tale of perceptions and fame that puts them to the test. Their romance has moments of desperation as well as heartfelt talks that point to a relationship capable of weathering every storm which is of great importance in the late stages of this story. An event occurs that comes out of left field and feels overly melodramatic, coming to a conclusion before it's barely started. In a story with many satisfying moments, this single act left me frustrated with its being unnecessary but able to forget courtesy of the appealing main couple. Along with a compelling main couple whose interactions in and out of the bedroom crackle comes the remaining members of these two bands whose early interactions promise a sensual battle of wills ahead. From Daisy's supportive sister Summer to Rafe's best friend Sean, fireworks have already gone off with their flirty interactions and his unapologetic appetites that has me excited for future books in this series. On a whole this was a fast-paced series starter with appealing characters who had me blushing while putting a smile on my face and I recommend it to readers looking for a carefree and erotically-charged romance!

I cannot believe that this is the first book I have read by Skye Turner! From the moment Rafe and Daisy meet face to face the first time, I knew this story was going to be epic. Rafe and Daisy are as different as you can imagine. Polar opposites can't even come close to describing them. So it comes as no surprise that Mr. Rock and Roll and Ms. Sweet Country can't be in the same room without setting it ablaze with the sparks.

Forced to go on tour by their label, the bad boys of Destiny Fades to Blue must work with the country sweethearts Sweet Southern Sass. Regardless of their differences, they might actually be able to pull it off... if only their respective front “men” could stand to be in the same room together without being at each other's throat. The chemistry between Rafe and Daisy jumps out of the pages every time they meet. Even as a reader, it's a palpable thing that you can read. Whether in anger, confusion or passion, Turner makes sure we feel every fought for emotion the characters are feeling.

Rafe is unapologetic about enjoying the rock star life and every perk that comes with it. He's the stereotypical rock star and he loves living up to people's expectations of that. Women... scandal... more women... he has it all and enjoys every second of it. Why no? He's earned ever bit of the adulation. When Daisy throws the reality of his life back at him, he finally sees himself through the eyes of someone else and he's not sure he likes what he sees. Daisy can't quite comes to terms with her desire of this tattooed bad boy. One thing she does know, is that she's done fighting them.

Rafe was a bit of a conundrum. He was a rock star that enjoyed everything that came with the title. Yet he seemed more genuine and ready to give a relationship an honest try than Daisy did. Still, I loved the dynamic between the two of them. I don't think anyone else could possibly handle these characters. I loved every second of reading Riff and cannot wait to read the other band members' books!

I have always been a huge fan of Skye Turners! Her Bayou Stix series was awesome and I've always been a sucker for music genre books. This book was "a lil bit country and a lil bit rock & roll". I could not put it down, I just had to see where she would take the characters on this adventure!

Daisy Anderson is the lead singer of a country band called Sweet Southern Sass. She's a wholesale country girl with some sass and sweetness to her. She tends to think of everyone else before herself. Daisy and her band on just recently on break from a tour when a message from their label changes everything for her.

Rafe Ryder is the lead singer of Destiny Fades to Blue. He's a tattooed bad boy that every woman wants and he knows he can get them too. When he gets the news from the label, the band and him think it's a joke.

When Daisy and Rafe meet the chemistry is definitely off the charts!! Rafe liked to push her buttons and she gets all flustered every time he's around. When they write the song for the label that's combining both bands, it's a music masterpiece. Their writing geniuses are something not to be messed with. Once the label hears, they absolute love it and so does their fans. Their tour had sold out across multiple states. They go on the road and start promoting the tour together.

Will Daisy finally admit she has feelings for the bad boy rocker? Will Rafe get his southern belle? How will their fans react to them all touring together?

This book really makes you see that opposites can attract. I loved the banter between Rafe and Daisy so much. I'm really looking forward to Harmony!! This series is definitely going to be epic!

MY NEW FAVORITE FROM SKYE TURNER!!!
Riff is the first book in her new series, A Little Bit Country and A Little Bit Rock and Roll. Two top bands collide, thanks to their record label. A an all female top selling country music group must write and record a new music track with a bad boy all-male rock and roll band, to fuse their music together for a nationwide tour. Both bands dread the news they receive and rant to themselves and their managers how much they’re not looking forward to this. How can their personalities and vastly different musical styles blend to be anything people would want to hear?

The women pride themselves on their clean image and good music; and the men are concerned these “virgins” will tarnish their bad boy, punk rock, partying image to their loyal followers. The men of Destiny Fades to Blue are sex and rock and roll 24/7. The women of Sweet Southern Sass are not. They love the south and being home when they need a break.

The tempers and stress flare the instant the two bands meet, but is it really tension between them? Opposites definitely seem to attract between Rafe Rider and Daisy Anderson, the lead singers of their groups.

This book is sexy and whirls around the world of music and stage, with the new relationship they follow. It’s hot and heavy, and I LOVE the many situations their infatuation puts them in. It’s one of my top favorites by Skye Turner and it will be yours too. It’s out now!!

Rafe and Daisy...... Such complete opposites! And you just know it's bound to get interesting....

And phew! Miss Turner doesn't disappoint! Rocker with a certain lifestyle.... Country star with an air of innocence.... EPIC! The overall antagonism between these two is actually funny. Because you can feel that each is judging right off the bat. I loved it! Because it only added to the overall greatness of the story. The drama level was high but expertly written. Let's be real, no great story is written without some juicy drama. I liked that Miss Turner gives a basic overview of the other characters but stayed the course with these two.

The HEAT! Oh, the heat is hot and certainly true to Miss Turners writing form. Classy yet..... Sizzling. I love that she manages to turn the reader one without being gauche it or unrealistic.

There are some serious life issues in this book that the reader will certainly appreciate the approach Miss Turner took... And how she expertly wrote it. That being said... This book is some serious WOAH moments and I really am honored to have been able to read this book. Overall.... Please hurry with the next book Miss Turner!! Gotta know about the rest of the ragtag bunch!!

This was a sweet, endearing romance novel that was a joy to read. It flowed so nicely and was an easy read. It was a feel good book that had me rooting for the rock star bad boy manwhore, Rafe Rider and the sweet innocent and demure country star lead singer, Daisy Anderson to find true love. Daisy and her all female band including her sister Summer were forced to merge to write a song and them promote it with the all male tattooed rock band by their record label. Both bands were deeply opposed to the idea from the get go, thinking there was no way any of this could work because they had completely opposite styles of dress, music and lifestyle. Daisy and Rafe had instant attraction and sexual chemistry.

This book had smoking hot love scenes, funny and awkward moments and all together a feel good happy ever after. The bands learned from each other and enjoyed spending time with each other in the studio and on tour. I would definitely recommend this book to particularly romance readers who don't want too much explicit adult scenes.

I love Rafe!!! This is book one in a new rocker series from Skye and as hot as anything she's written to date. When a music label makes it darlings of country write a song and tour with its best selling band of rockers, sparks fly between Daisy and Rafe and their chemistry throughout this story is off the charts hot! Although they both try to fight it and pretend to hate one another, especially in the beginning when both are judging the other by their reputations rather than their true selves, they end up finding out that they are not as different as they assume they are.

This was an easy one to give five stars to- it keeps you hooked from the first slap of Daisy's hand across Rafe's face. Lol! If you've read Skye Turner books before, you're used to her strong female leads and sexy hot male bad boys. This one doesn't disappoint by continuing that tradition and this series promises to keep delivering the sexy, so I definitely recommend you read this series, starting with Riff. ~ Kellie for Eye Candy Bookstore

This is the first book in a new series by this author, having only read one of her books previously I must say that I enjoyed this book quite a bit. It was well written and decent character development though I don’t particularly care for how fast the book goes, that part made me kind of sad. It’s a typical trope of the bad boy with a heart of gold meets the good girl and voila they fall in love and that’s that. This was a good quick read that was wrapped up nicely with a little bow.

I personally would have loved to see more of Rafe’s back story to find out why he has some of the predilections he has. I also would have liked to see how him and Daisy are after more than like 2 weeks. :)

Reviewing for Book Boyfriend Heaven

Riff by Skye Turner was a great read. Every time I think read one of Skye’s books I think I understand her writing style and then she goes and changes it up always surprising me in a good way. This book is no different I love that Daisy and Rafe are so different from type of music they play to how they think about their fame. The bantering and chemistry between Rafe and Daisy is fun and sexy and just want to read this book to see what they are going to say or do next. All the characters are well developed not just your main ones you get just enough details about them and their personalities that you get invested in everyone in the book so it leaves you waiting for the next to see what happens to them all.

Everything necessary for a good read!
This story was different than any other book that I have read by Ms. Turner. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'll admit it is my new favorite of hers! There is plenty of heat, a lot of humor, and more than enough confirmation that sweethearts and bad boys can come from opposite sides of the fence, or tracks, if you will, and bring plenty of passion with them! The chemistry in this book is so combustible! I love the verbal exchange, back and forth in the two main characters conversations. Ms. Turner kept me reading, as always. With plenty of laughs to keep it light and make for a quick read. I look forward to seeing what she has coming up for us next with these two and/or any others introduced in this series.

I absolutely loved Rafe and Daisy's story, but I do have a soft spot for bad boy manwhores that turn out to be soft, cuddly and loveable. I just knew from the beginning that these two were to be hot once they stop fighting with each other.

Skye is a fantastic author and I can highly recommend all her books.

Rock'n Roll and a Little Country, can they come together, will it work out! That's what two groups are about to find out! Thrown together, not by choice, but then their lead singers also feel something, the chemistry is so hot between them, will they combust and burn, or find their true love? Great story!❤️

Bad boy rocker. Good country girl. What were they thinking. This book was one of the more enjoyable ones I have read for awhile. I loved how it started. Record labels always pull crazy things, but pairing to different types of groups together was priceless. You could feel the tension when this all started. Its hard to be following a routine for so long and then be told it could be better if they did it this way. The group of people in this book lived up to what you perceive bands to be in real life. If you are in a rock band you must be players and just let me tell you, the group lived up to it. If you sweet country band then your morals must be intact, and yes they lived up to that too. Love is blind to the public though. They cant dictate what you are suppose to like, but they can try. So when to lead singers of the bands come together, fireworks begin. Daisy is a great person. She is strong, independent, and leads her band. She loves life, but when Rafe walks in, all bets are off. Rafe is you hot rocker. He is a player. He admits to it and doesnt hide from it and I think that makes him so strong. I love that he knows who and what he is and makes no excuses for it. When he meets Daisy for the first time he knows his life is going to change. They are both bull headed and try to hide what they are feeling, but it eventually it is too much to hide. The band members are awesome in this book also. They play such a key role in this book. They are needed throughout the book whether it is to be a friend, a sister, father, mother, or even a brother, they are there to help. Everyone thinks family is blood related but its not, you can make a family out of who is the most important people in you life. What happens though when you past catches up to you? Can you make amends or is it to late? Will Rafe and Daisy come out of this with their hearts intact?

I loved this author. Everything in this story had me reading longer and longer. It took me about 2 hours to finish this book and I am so glad I did. The characters were great. The problems that followed were perfectly placed. Just the whole story itself kept me fully interested. There is going to be more books to this series and I can't wait to read them. I wish there was an epilogue or more of a conclusion to this book, it felt a little incomplete, but I'm hoping the books in this series complete Daisy and Rafe's story.

When I began and met Daisy in the book I didn’t know where this would go or how I would feel about it. Daisy in the beginning was very judgemental and uppity for her own good. How she treated Rafe was wrong and many levels and watching him get her goat because of it was awesome. I really wanted to slap her upside the head when she said those things to him and hurt his feelings. She was unrelenting and mean. Not something you would think the singer of Sweet Southern Sass would be.

Rafe is a womanizer when the book begins but underneath the eyeliner and womanizing was a kind, caring, smart as a whip guy. He wasn’t what you would seem. So when he meets Daisy and she gets to him it is wildly entertaining to see. He doesn’t go all mean like Daisy toward her though. He goads her and teases her but doesn’t hide from his feelings. He is upfront with everyone and says what he thinks. that is admirable. He changes the most because he becomes a one woman guy and stronger because of it. We see him start to show more respect to woman and that he has a romantic side.

Daisy learns to not let fear and what others think to enter in her personal world. With Rafe she begins to be free. She sees that he isn’t just tats and sass but a nice guy. He shows her respect and patience but she doesn’t always give that to him. When there is a moment in a bathroom she misinterprets and becomes an ice queen to him again and they have to fight it out for her to understand. She is less frigid and more open as the book goes on and this is due to Rafe. they both have tremendous faith in each other and are honest with one another as well. We get to see how they feel in each word uttered, caress and action. They are good for each other and although they seem like opposites they mesh well together.

the characters are fun and sassy. They don’t hold anything back and are tight knit in their friendships. It’s like they are family for each other and they will have you smile as they get on Daisy and Rafe for their ways.

This is the entertaining, sexy, and sometimes sweet story of Daisy and Rafe. How they are forced into each others world by the record label. Have instant chemistry in which one doesn’t runaway and helps the other to come to give them a chance. the story of how they fell in love and their time on tour. A sexy sometimes growly story that shows us how opposites not only attract but help the other to become better people. I am excited to read the next and hope it’s sean and summer that we see fall.

A lil bit of Country, a lil bit of Rock ‘n Roll. I loved this story – it was so amusing. Daisy is in a well-known Country band – they have #1 songs on the charts. Rafe is also in a band – all bad boy – Rock ‘n Roll baby, they also have #1 songs on the charts! So what happens when the label pairs the two bands up – “forces” them to make a song and tour together? Magic, baby! All. Magic.

So, let’s talk about the lead singer of Sweet Southern Sass, Daisy – she comes across prude-ish, a good girl. As much as she is a good girl – she is also a daddy’s girl and completely bull headed. “What are you talking about? Are you out of your ever-lovin’ mind?” That would be her reaction to touring with the bad boys of Destiny Fades to Blue. Rafe’s reaction? “ The label wants to tour…..with that chick country band. You know, the ones that are so sweet it makes you want to hurl?” Rafe is exactly what you’d expect from a rock ‘n roll band – different women in different states, you know the drill. So what happens when the two lead singers meet? FIREWORKS BABY and THUNDER – some major thunder. Daisy will not bow down to Rafe – and Rafe finds it amusing to rile her up.

This was a light hearted, typical bad boy goes good once he meets the girl of his dreams. Yet, somehow, it was different and I LOVED it.

This is the first book in the series and quite honestly, I cannot wait to read more from Skye Turner! I adored her writing style – girl’s got talent, ladies!

4 ½ stars from me!

This is A Lil Bit Country & A Lil Bit Rock & Roll # 1
the first book in the Series
I gave this book 5 stars.

It is Riff and Daisies book.

I love Skye Turner's books, but when she goes all rocker on us I love them even more. Her Bayou Stix Series is amazing and I was so afraid that this would not live up to it, but Skye of course does what she always does and shows us all that she can do anything that she sets her mind to.

Riff is a bad a$$ Rocker and Daisie is a beautiful gorgeous country bad a$$. Put these two together and what does that make ? Two amazing bad a$$ess !! I couldn't get enough of this story. I loved the side characters and wanted to learn more about them and I eagerly await their stories as well!

This book is full of humor and anticipation and hot steamy love scenes that are going to melt your panties ... Don't say I didn't warn you!! Ms. Turner thank you for your amazing stories and for doing what you do. You take me to another world for a little while and I don't know what I would do without that. I cannot wait to read more about this series!

Riff (A Lil Bit Country A Lil Bit Rock & Roll #1) by Skye Turner is a cute story about two people who are thrust together by their record label. Daisy is the lead singer of the hottest girl country band and Rafe is the lead singer of the hottest rock and roll band. As with many rock and roll bands Rafe and the band is living up to the lifestyle of sex, plenty of sex and they are always in the tabloid for one thing or another. Daisy’s band is America’s sweet hearts and a role model too many young girls. The band represents good old values and they have no problem with who they are. The band’s record label decides it would be a great ideal if their 2 hottest bands write a song than go on tour. The only problem is that they are polar opposites. Both bands hate the ideal but have no choice. From the very first day Rafe and Daisy are like oil and water. The saying there is a thin line between love and hate is their story. I enjoyed their relationship. The back and forth, the push and pull and the hot and cold feelings between the two of them was not only entertaining but at times quite steamy. A good start to a series which I am looking forward to reading. I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review. I give this book 4 stars. A feel good story that left a smile on my face.

I love this authors work she certainly knows how to write about hot rock stars.

We meet Daisy Anderson a southern girl and part of country girl band Sweet Southern Sass and all round American sweetheart. Her sister and her band mates are her best friends.

Next we meet singer of rockband Destiny Fades to Blue Rafe Rider. He's heavily tattooed with piercings. He's your typecast bad boy rocker who thinks nothing of sleeping with a groupie and then tossing her to the side and moving onto the next groupie andbeing part of a rock band he's not short of offers.

They both are under the record label when the record label decides to put Sweet Southern Sass and Destiny Fades to Blue together and send them on tour together. Daisy insists that she hates and despises everything about Rafe and does everything in her power to piss him off but it is water of a ducks back as Rafe insists that he hates Daisy and in return he does everything he can to get under her skin. Daisy hates the fact that whenever Rafe says sexual innuendos make her get flustered and this gives Rafe the green light to carry on.

Even though Daisy and Rafe say they don't like each other you know that underlying underneath is a attraction between the two of them.

Will they end up in bed together? Will a argument between Daisy and Rafe make Rafe see women more than sexual objects?

Riff by Skye Turner

Daisy is beautiful, smart and talented. She is lead singer of one of the most popular country artist in the last 10 years. She doesn’t know what to expect on this tour because it’s a cross over tour with other artist.

Rafe is living the rock star life style. He has been all over the world with his band . Rafe is sexy and on top of being the lead singer of Destiny Fades to Blue. The ladies have never been a problem. Now on this cross over tour his eyes and heart wanders to someone completely different and maybe out of his league?

Daisy and Rafe are pretty much thrown together because of the tour but spark and fate find them.

Will they be able to push the barriers and make something special, coming from two different worlds?

5 Star Sexy Fun Read.

Skye Turner novel titled Riff. This novel totally worked for me. Skye has this skill on keeping the reader emotional involved. I find myself with all her novels finishing in one sitting. She will amaze you, she will shock you but you will always want more. When I read this author I feel like I am in a movie and its playing out for me. I totally recommend Riff and all Skye Turner books

Remember this book is has sex and if your not comfortable don’t read or write a bad review you have been warned.

Love when you least expect it…

Country and Rock & Roll definitely meet head on in a more philosophical difference of opinion rather than a musical one. And when I say philosophical I really mean moral. In other words, the boys of Destiny Fades to Blue are rather lax in the “will sleep with anyone” department. Or should I say they excel in it? The ladies of Sweet Southern Sass, on the other hand, are sweet and sassy. Brought together by their mutual record label, when the lead singers of these very opposite-minded bands meet, the sparks were sure to fly!

The friction between Rafe and Daisy was delicious from the start! Surrounded by band mates, family, their obstacle-stricken courtship was going to happen in full view of them as well as the whole world. They are news and when sexual tension gets the better of them they are quickly on the hot seat! Are they lovers or friends or simply bedmates? That’s what they have to figure out and the road is bumpier than the highway beneath their tour buses!

And through it all the characters, all of them, were snarky and cranky, loving and sweet, and as down to earth as one could ever imagine musicians could be. A rock star tale with a country twang that hit all the right notes!

Riff is the first book in the A Lil Bit Country& A Lil Bit Rock & Roll Series. This is Daisy and Rafe's story but it does introduce all the band members who I am assuming are going to be the next books in the series. I would give this book a 3.5 stars and recommend to others. This was rock and roll and country singers book... I did enjoy this book it just didn't grab me and pull me in like some stories but I think it had great potential and I will be reading the others in this series.

Sweet Southern Sass and Destiny Fades to Blue come together and create a song and tour together because there label makes them.... both bands think its a horrible idea... Rafe and Daisy despise each other but will they let there hate takeover or will they give into the passion the ignites whenever they are around each other???

Mixing 2 musical genres together can be quite the disaster waiting to happen but these stars make it work.. but can they make it work long-term or is it going to be short lived???

Get to one clicking to find out what happens and look out for the other books in this series coming soon!

This was a pretty good book. Rafe Rider and Daisy Anderson are both in the music industry but he's a rock star and she's a country singer. They both are under the same label that actually wants them to write a song together and then go on a cross-over tour.

Daisy has been with her band for years and they've been around awhile in the music industry. Their band Sweet Southern Sass are considered the sweethearts of country. She's the lead singer and her sister Summer and two of their friends are in the band together. She's used to being in control and she likes things to be a certain way. She and Rafe have a tendency to go head to head. They are both attracted to each other but they are such different types of people.

Rafe is the lead singer of Destiny Fades to Blue and they are considered the IT band. He's known as a playboy that goes from girl to girl. He's considered to be hardcore with lots of tattoos and at times wearing eyeliner. He's never had a relationship really but no one has ever really turned his head like Daisy does. They both learn that they have lots of differences but they have many similarities as well.

Worth reading.

Can a rock band and Country girls group survive a tour together? Rafe Rider is the lead singer of a band who is forced into going on tour with a country girl group lead by Daisy Anderson. I expected chaos , but what I did not expect was how well these two groups would mesh together. Rafe and Daisy have an immediate dislike for each other , but something burns beneath the surface. When forced to co-write and begin a tour can they put aside differences and learn maybe opposites do attract.

I went into this book wondering how the author was going to top her other rocker series which I love. The story of these two bands and especially Rafe and Daisy sucked me in from beginning to end. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next in this emotionally charged novel. The characters were well developed with a great story line and attention to detail. With two headstrong leads how could you not fall in love with them!

I truly enjoy reading this author's books and it had been awhile since I had opportunity to do so. When I had seen this one come across my vision as the first one that starts in this series with the mix in title , said to self OH YEAH! She lays a excellent foundation with the characters and the idea with sitting back and rolling with this one. Even I was curious like Daisy and Rafe to see what would happen crossing this country band with that rock group. As they do come together this author will give you some good ole lovin' off the charts with the how and why's being the fun in the reading. You get so that your are stuck like glue to these two that it is like witnessing a prime soap opera going down. She will melt you six ways around as you see how these two survive the combo. By the time I come to the ending of this one I am more than ready to continue on with seeing who will bite it next.
