Fans of romances set in the sensual world of music will find themselves drawn to this decadent delight full of steamy encounters, with just a bit of angst, as the bad boy of rock falls for the good girl of country music. Fears over fidelity, issues of jealousy, and possessive fans are just a few of the roadblocks to HEA in this second installment in Ms. Turner's series that charmed me along with making me blush. As their tour continues, so too does my enjoyment of these entertaining characters trying to live their lives and find love under the glare of the spotlight.
Sean Scott's gained notoriety for his revolving bedroom door. He's a player, having sex with numerous women as befits his rock star status, but it's beginning to lose its allure. Before meeting country crooner Summer he never felt the need to apologize for his behavior, but the feelings she's engendering in him have him wanting to be a better man. He's never committed to any woman before either but she's the first to see past his bad boy facade to the good guy beneath the guyliner, tats, and blue hair. Coming out as someone's boyfriend though puts their trust to the test in a relationship full of erotic encounters, and moments of jumping to conclusions, that put their HEA in jeopardy. Through everything though I adored Sean! He was open and honest, never sugarcoating his past. He acknowledged his highly sexualized past but never made excuses for it and in so doing he showed why Summer was different from the others. His reasons for wanting her were truly romantic and heartfelt and endeared him to me. Sean was at turns fun and flirty, as well as scorching in his erotic interludes with Summer as he was a master of sexual innuendos.
Summer may be one of the good girls of Sweet Southern Sass, but she's immediately drawn to bad boy Sean the moment they meet. Though their connection was crackling from the get-go she couldn't look past his being a player at first. She thought only a good guy would claim her heart, but bad boy Sean soon shows that he's a bad boy with a heart of gold in their scorching relationship of opposites attracting. Worries over being enough, and encounters with crazed female fans, weigh on their burgeoning relationship and led to a bit of rockiness as she dealt with her feelings. At the end of the day though, who can deny the truth that's in front of her...that she's tamed the bad boy of rock! Summer's a likable character who tries to do right, but sometimes falters, as she's honest and doesn't want to hurt people's feelings. Sean brings out a wild side in her though that was entertaining and added to their already combustible connection. By the end of the story I found them to be a formidable couple with a solid relationship that left me cheering.
There was a sense of familiarity when reading this book as its narrative felt similar to the previous book in this series. Good girl fell for bad boy with his past causing a few doubts in the HEA. Thankfully, the issues keeping them apart this time around were far less melodramatic. That's not to say that my enjoyment was any less though as I enjoyed the characters for their realism and likability, along with the erotic interludes nicely spaced throughout the story. The other members of both bands are slowly moving to the forefront in this book as the four of them start deaing with their own romantic entanglements. They're an equally likable cast who have me intrigued to see if two of them give in to their attraction and another moves on from a cheating boyfriend. Ultimately fans of romances set in the music world will enjoy this depiction of living on the road and giving your all for the fans, while falling for the sexy rocker in a relationship that I rooted for every step of the way.

Summer is the fiddle player for the good girls of Sweet Southern Sass, who has a bit of a crush on the guitarist for Destiny Fades to Blue, who they are on tour with. They have done a bit of flirting, but after she witnesses his revolving door of women, over and over again, she finally decides she must move on. But when she accepts a date with a sound tech, Jake, her crush seems to have taken notice, and is jealous. Sean Scott is one of the man whores of Destiny Fades to Blue, and while he won't apologize, it seems to have lost it's appeal lately. He thought that he and Summer were getting somewhere, but she just stopped talking to him, so he went on with his bad boy ways, until he sees her on a date. Sean decides to man up, and reveal his feelings to her, and she chooses him. But when a bad boy rocker decides to settle with one woman, it upsets his fans, and they are not the nicest. Will Summer be able to handle his past, without losing trust in his changed heart?
I have been a huge fan of Skye Turner's since her Bayou Stix series, and I had some conflicting emotions about another group of rockers from her, thinking in the back of my mind that they couldn't replace the EPIC first ones. But she knocked it out of the park with this newest series, and I'm right back to the fan girl who's drooling over the thought of the next bad boy rocker in the series. Her brilliant writing style is once again at the forefront, and frankly, I cannot get enough of it. This time she added some country girls, who I absolutely LOVED, and their feistiness was some serious well placed humor that kept me laughing hard. The way she writes the tortured soul rockers never fails to impress me, and boy do I ever love them tons, and Sean is no exception. Plus, this author knows how to writes some seriously FIERY BALL OF FLAMES for sexy scene goodness, guaranteed to ruin all panties in its path. I cannot say enough great things about this amazing author, with her amazing new series, so I'll just end with HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY and HIGHLY RECOMMENDING Harmony to ALL!

Sean is guitarist for Destiny Fades to Blue. He is best friends with Rafe. He is crude, crass, and loves the ladies. He is know for hooking up with lady fans for sex and moving on to his next conquest. Sean is covered in tattoos and piercing, and his body is well taken care of.

A bit of love déjà vu….
It is Summer and Sean’s turn at the emotional love wheel and they are following in Rafe and Daisy’s bumpy courtship footsteps. Brought together by their record label for a multi-city tour, the bands they belong to are committed to being together for the for-seeable future. Sean is definitely a bad boy with his casual approach to female companionship (it’s all about sex) and Summer’s determined to not be another notch on belt. Their physical attraction is obvious to everyone even if they both aren’t quite sure what to do with it….
If you read the first book in this series than the plot will seem very similar. While their personalities are different from the lead singers who fell in love before them, the challenges and arguments they face are the same. Sean and Summer, however, are definitely their own people and they bring new life to the story. Sean is a man-whore but he owns it, taking responsibility for his past as well as his commitment to change. Summer, like her sister Daisy, could have been a pampered prima donna but she is anything but as she suffers the uncertainty and tentative happiness of new love…

So I picked up this one so fast I bet there was smoke coming from behind. I just had to see what Summer was going to do with her bad boy. Thing with her though is she will be a bit in denial at first trying to see how goes it with someone else first but honey you got to have that spark and dynamite too. Sean is one that I found captivated on how it would go down with him largely due to his character. You know what they say when you meet that right one, you go down even if kicking and screaming. Funny the screaming he does is loud protest for what reason at first when he does not even know lol. Interesting too would be to see does she have the guts to give him a try? I got to see alright with these two doing their own brand of shaking and exploding with this being a perfect escape if anything ails you. She is on to something with this series, these girls holdn their own with the bad boys of rock but when they are all said and done bet they could say oh oh so good.

Summer has harbored a crush on Sean since she met him. He is into her but only as a sex buddy. Summer is not ok with that so she decides to move on. Of course Sean then wants what he can't have.
I liked that he went after her and stayed true to her. But he could have laid off repeatedly reminding her of his whorish ways. Especially that he had been with girls only the night before!! (I'm not even going to lecture about the unprotected sex with a man ho)
A few fights and disallow later and they do seem to have a good thing going.

I absolutely floved it. 5 star brilliance as usual.
Skye never disappoints me, I love her writing style, a great flowing story with no messing about straight to the point story telling. All with plenty of detail you can't help but fall in love with her work and her characters.

I think this is my favorite one yet. Summer and Sean have a chemistry that really heats up the room. The banter was their foreplay, and when they finally stopped fighting the attraction it was an explosion of epic proportions. These two compliment each other perfectly, and I can't wait to see what's next in this series.

The perfect mix of sweet country and hard rocker! Sean and Summer are that perfect I-don't-want-you-but-I-want-you couple. I love how they each have to over come fears to be able to be together. This is a great sigh worthy love story. Looking forward to the next book in this series!

Wow was this book great. I found these two characters so believable and the interactions between them so great to read. This book kept my attention from beginning to the end. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Her books are bold and sexually intense but never forgetting that love can reform and repair. Sean is determined to change in order to be in the relationship. Summer is not in her element but falls in love regardless.

OMG Skye has knocked it out of the park with this book which is the second book in the A Lil bit country & A Lil Bit Rock & Roll series.

I love Skye Turner's writing style. She ALWAYS makes me laugh while reading those hot, sexy stories. Her Bayou Stix series is in my favorite top ten. I love that Blue from that series made an appearance in this one, as did James Black. I hope there will be more books in this series.

I enjoyed Summer and Sean worldwind.... Why try to replace the irreplaceable? That is basically what this one was. Summer trying to fight the attraction of her heart and soul by giving Jake a slight try. Yeah, uh NO.... Sean was not having that. Get the girl by any means necessary and he utilized all this means. Even enlisted the managers, bodyguards, band members, and all to seal the love of the woman that tamed his heart and bed hopping ways.

This was a fun read! Great second book to the series! Sean, Hot, blue haired rocker! He's never had a girlfriend! Summer, a beautiful country musician! Wants to be in a relationship. Their bands are touring together. Country meets rocker two total opposites or are they? I have to say I totally love Summer that girl has balls and it's great! She stands up to some nasty former conquests of Sean's! You go girl! Thanks Skye for another enjoyable read! I look forward to the next in this series!
