Hard for me to get through especially the first half. Too much introduction on too many characters to keep up with. I almost gave up, but I try to complete each book I buy. There was no offending language or descriptions, just way too many people the writer felt we should know their background on from twenty years ago.

It did get very compelling the third part of the book and I stayed up late reading it. Then it bogged down again for the final fourth. If you are looking for an outstanding suspense, this isn't it but it is pleasant.

Wow

Another great book. Sam is probably one of the best detectives ever. He longs for family and quiet life. But with all his babies will he ever find the peace
