It’s a Wonderful Life Advent Devotional is an insightful examination of the messages and meanings within the beloved Frank Capra Christmas film. Each devotion consists of a quote from the film, a discussion of a character or scene and how it relates to the tenants of the Christian faith, and a prayer. Author Anne Morse does an effective job at showing the applicability of the film’s morals, and points out some of the theological fallacies as a gentle reminder that it is just a film and shouldn’t substitute for biblical teachings. Thoughtful and engaging, It's a Wonderful Life Advent Devotional offers not only an examination of faith, but also a new way to view this cinematic classic.

Great Devotional

This devotional used scenes from one of the greatest movies in history and my personal favorite to teach timeless Biblical truths. Very uplifting!!!

Very meaningful, thought-provoking devotional. My favorite part of this book were the scriptures the author used to bring more depth to the movie and the prayers for each day’s reading.
I will reread this book simply for the prayers.
