Cole had to flee to Faerie. His best friend Flynn—my bully and tormentor—holds all the answers. My family secrets are like a noose, slowly tightening around my neck.
To vanquish my demons, I’ll break all the rules. I’ll kneel before my dark prince and infiltrate his world.
Mortals shouldn’t eat Faerie fruits. Every witch knows the rule.
Can I handle just one bite? Or two? What about a taste of forever?
Immortal Sins is the third book of Dark Falls Academy, an action-filled enemies-to-lovers, fantasy romance. The steaminess increases with each book. Fall under the dark prince's spell and discover a world meant to bring mortals to their knees.
Wow! This book is incredible! It is full of intrigue, suspense and romance. This book is impossible to put down. I love the characters. The plot is engaging. The cliffhanger ending is intense and I can't wait for the next book. This series is amazing. A must read.
The continuous insinuation that Cole and Flynn are having sex is the biggest turn off. The story has been pretty great until this. It’s really making me not want to finish the book.
I'm really enjoying the Dark Falls Academy series. There was quite a wait between books one and two, but fortunately, this latest instalment came quite quickly. It picks up where our last book left off, Cole has been exiled, and Jules and her friends are trying to work against new headmaster Oz and also to clear Cole's name. To do so, she must work with Flynn, Cole's best friend but someone who has never really been on Jules's side.
This story sees Jules and Flynn travelling away from Dark Falls academy, following Cole into Faerie, somewhere that she has never been before, but has heard plenty about. It's clear that as she does things are going to change and Jules will have to try and come to terms with these changes.
I really enjoyed the developing relationship between Jules and Flynn as well as the growth of the relationship that she has with Cole. I'm not sure where any of these are likely to go next, but I have a few theories.
This book doesn't conclude things, with a cliffhanger at the end which just makes you desperate to read on and find out what will happen next. Sadly, we have to wait a little longer, but with the fourth (and final?) book due out in May, it's not too long.
I love this series. This one takes place in Fairie. We learn more about their culture. I love the twists and suspense. Jules surprises me all of the time with her compassion, wit and loyalty to her friends and family. She goes through transitions and becomes "more". Allie is surprising as well. She wants to protect her sister, yet she has her own agenda. Which is more important to her her family, or her boyfriend, Professor Oz? Cole is also a force to be reckoned with. He does something to Jules that she can not forgive him for. For better or worse they must live with the consequences. We are introduced to Cole's uncle Erron. His first appearance is at Cole's mansion in Fairie. What he tries to do is a surprise. Then we have Finn he is and always will be Cole's friend and ? maybe more. I love how they seem to work things out between the three of them. Very steamy. Well written with lots of mystery, suspense and intrigue. The ending to this book was a surprise. I can't wait to see what happens next to Jules and Allie. I was given this book by the author through Bookfunnel with no obligation to my honest review.
I LOVED LOVED LOVED this story so much that I've already started to read it again since I'm sure that I missed things along the way because of turning the pages so fast. This particular story pops off in Fairie, and not all is right there that's for sure. Jules is an amazing girl who I fell for from the jump as not only is she coming into her own, but her compassion & loyalty is something we should all aspire to have. Jules has her hands full with all the other involved as there are layers upon layers about where everyone is at as they get started on a new and exciting journey of chaos with a kicker of supernatural darkness. The suspense is definitely next level as there are so many twists coming in hot that it left my head spinning, and my heart racing. I found myself all in right from the beginning, and I did nothing else until I had devoured every last page, and since it ended on a mean cliffhanger, now I'm super impatient for the next book so here's hoping it won't be out of control long LOL! This author is a talent so don't pass her or this book by as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
The whole series, so far, has been a great read. I enjoyed the slightly different concept. Just as I was finally liking Cole, it all shifted. I'm not going to lie, I am hoping for a happy ending. I hope that Flynn finally gets over his jealousy and prejudice.
Here's to hoping that she manages to find a way to tell him that she loves him. Also, I hope she finds a way to get her dad to understand. I hope she can help the mortals in faerie. Most of all, I hope her trip in the underworld isn't in vain. I bet Allie's mom isn't even sick. I bet she just wanted mortality for herself.
I read book 1 to this in less than 2 days. I'll be impatiently waiting for the last one.
After murdering Miss Ellis while under angel dust influence the fae prince was whisk away to Faerie. Flynn and Jules take a journey to find Cole at Faerie but not all is as it seems. Jules is struggling with the information as to what Cole has done, the chaos at Dark Falls and who is behind it, the safety of her family and friends as well as her own safety. A war is brewing in both realms putting everyone in danger. Oz and Mr. Darkwood are still plotting and scheming and disposing of anyone who gets in their way. Allie learns the truth putting her own life in danger. What a wild ride! It only gets better with each new book!
With her world spinning out of control, Jules is fighting for her life, her friends lives and the truth behind the death of her mentor. Thrust together to try to find the truth Jules must work with Flynn to help Cole, while resisting all the temptation thrown her way. Another wonderful addition to this series, so much intrigue, passion and suspense, what an ending, can’t wait for the next book!!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Danger, mystery and suspense. Its a good read, but there are areas where you will get confused. Hopefully the next book strightens this out. How do the guys really feel about Julia? Will they get their way? Will she find out her sisters secrets? Will Julia get stronger?.

I liked this series so far but the ending of the books are so fast that I never have an idea of what's happening. So is she immortal now? Wouldn't she have already been immortal because she is half demon? Is she a unicorn? I'm v confused and hoping that the last book will clear everything up.
From Dark Falls to Faerie, solstice balls, seelie court, fae wine, betrayal and a sudden fall through a tear...excellent third in the series. Loving Jules, Cole and Flynn...Trent? Mhm maybe not so much. Steamy;p. Highly recommend. 4.5 stars.
While I have fallen in love with this author’s writing style (for the most part) and her descriptions are incredible… the plot is all over the place and it’s driving me insane.
2.75 MCs are in “love” now but besides attraction there was no really love story or bridge between the bully to the romance. Not much shown on why they love each other
I have enjoyed this series, but things got a little strange in this one. I will most certainly see it all through, but there were some surprising pieces in this one and I am wary to continue. Perhaps I am naive but I did not see some of these twists coming.
