The weakest of the three - the authors have increased POV and are heavy on ignoring the "show, don't tell" rule with writing. There are multiple, long flashbacks to the past, which I had no interest in at all. Besides this, all those pages were fully in Italics, which I can't read. This edition covers more grief and pain, which is understandable due to the death of her daughter and character growth that's realistic - BUT they overdid the story with Oz talking to her repeatably warning her not to turn off her emotions and what happened last time to where it became dull. The magic doesn't make much sense to me either with some of the blocking, her not knowing, and it was just odd. I will see how the fourth holds up.

More werewolf attacks are occurring and the SCI is working hard to stop them, find the witches creating the spell and ultimately locate Cain Abrams.
Kat and friends are doing everything they can to locate and stop the attacks while Kat is still searching for the people who poisoned her daughter accidently instead of her.
Oz and Ruby are fighting to let Kat know something about herself that she arranged to forget when she went into hiding.
Oz is dealing with the human world to fast track the coming out of the supernatural world in the hopes that it might slow down Cain.
A lot happens in this book, there is action, suspense, big surprises, mysteries in finding answers, a bit of humour and a lot more of Kat’s background when she met Oz.
There’s not much more I can say without spoilers except, this series is getting better each book.

Dark Witch Magic (SCI Book 3)
Lots of blood in this book, especially once the werewolves got going! Changing all the rules governing supernaturals was terrifying, especially for humans aka dinner. The measures Cain took to control the werewolves was painful and secret. Kat and Oz knew they had to take him down, but had no clue how to find him.They knew he would come after Kat soon. Oz had to tell Kat she had magical powers they hid from her for 15 years. She is dreaming about kicking Oz and Ruby's butts. This book feels too short!

The hunt goes on
Kat and her friends in the SCI are trying to hunt down Cain and stop him from using the werewolves to kill humans. She is also trying to track down the ones who killed her daughter and get her justice. The storyline in this series is really good and there is plenty of action and humor in the books. I enjoy these books and am looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Nonstop!
The sadness of a mother that has lost her only child and the revenge she feels, makes this a nonstop thriller. The history of Kat and Oz adds the extra life of the tale. With her team of human,witches, and a werewolf, Kat finds what she needs. All that remains is bringing the mastermind to justice. Fast pace, sad and funny at times. Thank you for the great tale and looking forward to the next.

I love Kat and her teem. Cain is really making a mess with the warewolfs. He is having the wolfs attacking humans and having his vampires fight them to save the humans. Cain wants humans to think only him and his vampires can save them. Kat and her teem have come up with a plan to spoil Cain’s plans to take over the humans. I will read the next book.

Absolutely enjoyable and entertaining series!!!!!!
Congratulations to Lyn South and Michael Anderle for this amazing series. It’s extremely nice to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

Werewolf Rampage
Cain is getting more werewolves who can change at will. He is using them to create panic and death. He then can stop them and be seen as a savior.

There is so much going on and I can’t believe what a roller coaster ride this is, boy can’t wait to start the next book, don’t want to give any details about this book or I will spoil it for you, i am so loving 🥰 these books and am looking forward to seeing what happens next.
