The Pawn's Revenge 05 is a creepy series, but I appreciate parts of it, especially because of the unique chemistry between the characters. It’s not your typical love story, and I love how their relationship feels so different compared to many other BL comics I’ve read.
Do Seong-rok is a character heavily influenced and manipulated by a straight woman who pushes him to kill people, which is dark and intense in itself. But what makes the story even more intriguing is how, despite all this, he falls for Lee Je-oh, creating a dynamic that’s truly unique.
The story is full of dark themes, intrigue, and psychological twists. It might not be for everyone, but I admire how it takes risks and ventures beyond the expected. Even though it’s unsettling at times, it’s hard to stop reading.
