I absolutely adored this book, it is a fabulous start to this new series of holiday romance novels, standalone’s written by different authors, all set in Kissing Springs. Lee Irwin set the bar high with her story, a wonderful and delightfully charming second chance romance that not only captivated my attention the entire book but tugged on my heartstrings too. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about too. Meadow Boyd is the new mayor in town and she has big plans for Kissing Springs, they have neglected it over the years and she wants to bring life back to it and put it on the map. The only thing she has to do is get the people of the town to back her plan. Her ex was the former mayor, and she was still cleaning up the mess he left behind, including reminders of his cheating ways. Dillon Montgomery, a musician and single dad, he is tired of trying to make it big in the Country Music scene, tired of touring as an opening act. He wants a more stable life so he can be there for his daughter, Opal, his brother runs the family business, a business he is a silent partner of, so he decides he won’t be as silent anymore and his brother gives him his first task, to speak to the mayor of Kissing Springs, a town they grew up in. Dillon took his daughter with him so she could see his hometown and when he gets there, he learns his ex was the new mayor. He also learns the news he is about to deliver to her is not good news for the town. But he and his daughter will enjoy the weekend before he has to get to business. The chemistry between him and Meadow is as strong as it ever was. His daughter is taken with the town and is impressed with Meadow, who she wants to be when she grows up. I loved how everything plays out in this beautifully plotted story, it has the perfect balance of drama, heartwarming and charming humor, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Zee Irwin, thank you for another wonderfully entertaining story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Matt Haynes and Meg Price were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, gave each a voice that fit the character’s persona and were believable in every role they played. Besides the great character voices, they also set the perfect tone for the story and handled the witty dialogue with ease. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These talented and versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

This story is part of the Welcome to Kissing Springs Series, a multi-author series. Dillon and Meadow's small town romance and second chance to love is sweet, emotional, sexy, funny, and heartwarming. They are both great characters. Meadow is beautiful, sweet, and smart. Dillon, a hot single dad and country singer, is handsome, alpha, and caring. I liked his daughter. The supporting characters are interesting. Matt Haynes and Meg Price did a good job with the narration. I enjoyed it. #HomeCookedBooks

A fun and steamy single Dad/second chance, dual POV, small town Christmas romance between two former high school sweet hearts. I enjoyed this but didn't love the narrators much. Love a good small town woman mayor saves the town story! Recommended for fans of Staci Hart's Blum Sisters series.

This is the start of what I know will be a fantastic series! Dillon and Meadow's romance was so good, the introduction to the small town was interesting, and the secondary characters brought so much to the story. As I was reading the book, I really wanted Robbie, Charles, and Nicoletta to get their own stories so I'm excited that there's more to come. I reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

A heartwarming story about old flames rekindling again. A up and coming country music star goes to his old hometown to find the new mayor of the town is the 'good girl' he had to leave behind when his family decided to move. He has dreamed about her ever since he was forced to move even though it has been years, he has a daughter and had a divorce not to mention his music career as well as his business with his brother. His brother wanted him to go to their hometown to give papers to the mayor about the demolition of two blocks for a distribution center that he was wanting the money from.
She was the new mayor after the old mayor left the office taking off with the judge. The old mayor was her ex husband. She was trying to get her personal and professional lives back on track. Wanting to make the small town into the romance capital of the south to bring tourism as well as businesses.
He brought his daughter with him since she was out for school for a couple of days. They rented rooms at the B&B that use to be his childhood home but without him knowing about it his brother sold. Him and his daughter went out to discover his old hometown when he saw her, he snuck a kiss in the storeroom of the shop her aunt owned. They didn't have much him before her had to get his daughter back home but that time he was wanting to stay and be part of her life like he always wanted to be but he had commitments. Before he took his daughter home he stopped at the mayor's office dropping off the papers his brother wanted him to. Taking his daughter home he finds out that her mother want to take her out of the country, his daughter is upset wanting to go with him but she can't. He calls his lawyers telling them to get a court date about custody. He was to go to what his brother called home but he couldn't so he went back to the small town, still staying at the B&B he went in search of his 'good girl'. Finding her with a small problem he made a phone call to a friend to help her out. He helped out with some singing when it went viral on the internet him and his friend came up with a business that would be in the town. The video that went viral got it where the want him to do a concert but he won't do it unless it was done in the old theatre that he started from. All was set in motion, the poor couple didn't see very much of one another for a long while. The concert happed and the daughter and mother came in to see the couple backstage, the mother told him to keep their daughter during the school months and he would keep her during the summer they all agreed. His brother came in wanting him to sign the papers closing the deal on the demolition but he refused to do it he told him about the business he has with his friend and what he wants to do with a record label he agrees to sign the papers but she she runs out of the room. She goes to her office looking for some papers when she calls her soon to be retired secretary, she tells her wants going on and the lady agrees to sell her property to make new jobs for the town. The mayor leaves town to do some business. He calls her worried but he finds out everything is alright, the tell each other that the love one another. Christmas day comes and he takes her on a drive to show her his Christmas gift to her, they go to the springs where he has paid to have a bridge like she wanted constructed. They're so happy to be with the one that they love.
Superbly done a Christmas story with everything in it drama, suspense, thrills and most of all romance. Wonderful characters are amongst the easy to read page turner that was amazingly written. A Perfectly Happily Ever After Kissing Springs Story!.

Zee Irwin welcomed me into the Christmas reading mode with her new release, Single Santa! What a fun, steamy read!
I am one of those Christmas nuts who starts with Christmas music the day after Halloween (don’t judge, I used to start even earlier!), loves to read Christmas romance books from now until Christmas comes, and wants to decorate the house as soon as the Halloween things are put back in storage.
I also love Hallmark movies, and Zee Irwin’s story gave me all the Hallmark small town love story feels with a whole lot of steam! Single Santa is Dillon and Meadow’s story—Dillon is a single dad, struggling to make it big in country music, stay close to his daughter, and help out in the family business. No wonder he’s feeling the stress and wondering if it’s time he made a change in his life. Meadow is Dillon’s long-lost love from high school and the new mayor of Kissing Springs, Kentucky.
When family business takes Dillon back to Kissing Springs, he realizes he’s been tasked with taking bad news to a woman he loved in high school. Meadow’s had her own run of bad luck since losing Dillon all those years ago. She’s ready to throw herself into her career and build up her town to be the new romance capital of the south, but Dillon’s untimely bad news shakes her firm resolve. Just as Dillon’s good looks and charm shake her resolve to not get involved with him again.
I loved Dillon and Meadow-both three-dimensional characters with good back stories. Second chance romance is always a hit for me, and Zee does it so well in Single Santa. I loved Zee’s vision of Kissing Springs, Kentucky! What a fun small town to hang out in this holiday season!

Nothing better for Christmas than a HAWT Single Santa!
Zee Irwin took ALL the spice out of her cupboard for this Christmas story! Featuring a hot single dad, sometime stripper, Dillon and his former high school girlfriend, now hometown mayor, Meadow you will enjoy this second chance small town Christmas romance.
Zee has a way of giving everyone the family they either wish they had or are all to dreadfully familiar with as supporting characters so you get to work out some of your own personal drama along with the characters in the book. In addition, she just writes the best damn heroes anywhere. They’re never too perfect, but they are always the kind of thoughtful and understanding man that every woman dreams of, and they’re sexy and good in bed too! You never finish one of her books without at least a little crush on her hero. Luckily Single Santa ends with a chapter that sets up the next book that will involve Dillon’s older brother Charles and his grumpy transformation, so there’s even more steamy goodness to look forward to! But don’t let the Christmas season pass without grabbing a mug of hot chocolate (spiked or no) and this steamy hot tale.

This was a really cute story about going home and finding yourself along the way.
Dillon's family moved away years ago, but the Montgomery family ties to the town of Kissing Springs are alive and well. When a little lost and directionless, Dillon tries to find a new purpose in the family business. When he is sent by his brother to deliver some less than ideal news to the mayor, he finds the first love he never really forgot.
Meadow has taken on the role of mayor in hopes of revitalizing the town of Kissing Springs. She's planned everything around her new town motto/slogan and she's going to do everything she can to keep this town alive and see it flourish.
Can this town, and Meadow, help Dillon find a new purpose, a new dream and a stable life that will allow him to fight for custody of his daughter?
The audiobook was performed by Matt Haynes & Meg Price. I really loved the way this duo worked. Matt's languid tones were very soothing as hopeful country star Dillon. Meg was delightful as driven and dedicated Meadow. Both had some fantastic emotional highs and lows.

This is book 1 in a multi author series Welcome to Kissing Springs. This is a single dad, second chance holiday romance and Zee Irwin delivers! Well written and narrated, this was an absolute delight that captivated and pulled on the heartstrings too! Dual narration brings these already wonderful characters to life in such a real way. Dillon and Meadow are our main characters and are just perfect together. Alpha male with sweet and steamy chemistry and a fun small town vibe that I found to be a perfect combo! Great job all round. Wonderful Christmas themed romance with a HEA that won't disappoint!

Thanks to Zee Irwin, I received this review copy of her wonderful book. And I was not at all disappointed by the content. It was sweet and fluffy, and the dance sequence had me breathless because I could easily imagine it. Watching Magic Mike innumerable times helped, of course, but we're not going to talk about that. The author did a great job at describing the setting and actions without writing block paragraphs that readers would only skim through.
Dillon and Meadow were perfect for each other. Their romance was slow-paced, yet it seemed as if they were picking up where they left off in high school. Although Meadow felt triggered a few times because of her ex-boyfriend, neither she nor Dillon was too worried about their feelings for each other despite the obvious struggles in their professional lives. Their characters developed well throughout the course of the book too.
If you're interested in single dads and second-chance romances with sweetness and sexiness, this is the book for you.

Single Santa is a sweet and saucy small-town holiday romance! A modern-day Romeo and Juliet meets Magic Mike, Single Santa is a funny, opposites-attract romp! Meadow and Dylan were on opposite sides of a generational feud, but their connection was undeniable. Single-dad country singer and the new small-town mayor make for an oil & water pair. Can a forbidden, youthful affair be rekindled after decades apart? This is a quick, low-angst listen full of quirky small-town characters and hallmark-style holiday traditions.
Matt Haynes and Meg Price bring Zee Irwin’s characters to life with great performances. Meg Price is a new-to-me narrator, and I really enjoyed her performance! This was my first dual narration of Matt’s. He and Meg complemented each other nicely. There were times when the pace slowed a bit for my taste, but overall it was a fun steamy listen.
Matt Haynes and Meg Price bring Zee Irwin’s characters to life with great performances. Meg Price is a new-to-me narrator, and I really enjoyed her performance! Old hometown love reunited
Dillion returns to his hometown to deliver papers to the mayor for his brother not realizing the mayor is Meadow his secret high love. If you like rekindled love with some family drama but a happy ending this is the book for you. Short read as I was able to read in an afternoon.

This was a nice, quick easy read that makes you feel good at the end of a hard day. Dillon and Meadow are likeable characters that don't give up when life throws some hardballs. Overall an enjoyable read and I look forward to seeing what else happens in Kissing Springs. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

Great series
Great short story. Dillon is a lovely character, trying to do the right thing but nothing is ever easy. Meadow is pretty similar actually, and together they fit.

Welcome to Kissing Springs!! This book kicks off a new series in the most fabulous way. This is a great holiday read to get you in the spirit and to hear you up.
This second chance romance has Dillon and Meadow reconnecting after several years apart. It’s a really sweet small town romance with all the feels, angst and emotion.
Matt Haynes and Meg Price are fantastic with the narration. They being great emotion and individualism to each of the characters.

An amazing story and an awesome beginning to another great series. Traci and Dillon start off the series with a bit of romance. Definitely looking forward to more in the next book

Single Santa is the first book in a series of interconnected stand alone stories. I listened to the audio version narrated by Matt Haynes and Meg Price. Their performances made the characters seem more real, which added to my enjoyment of the story.
I appreciate that, in general, Zee Irwin writes characters that work through relationship issues. I often avoid second chance, but I actually liked this one. The small town setting also helped.

This is a slow burn romantic holiday story. The idea of this story is brilliant. I like the female mayor and the country crooner as the male lead with an adorable child. There are fun times, stressful situations and some great townies.
I did listen to this on audio. Matt Haynes and Meg Price are the narrators. They do a wonderful job and are easy to listen to.

Sexy, fun and sweet

Dillon & Meadow’s story is one riddled with years of longing. Coming from feuding families, these two were not supposed to fall for each other. But one summer, when they were teens, changed that. There’s something between these two that just clicks.
Meadow had high aspirations & found herself as the new Mayer of their hometown, Kissing Springs. Dillon is the guy who hasn’t been successful in launching his singing career in Nashville. When Dillon’s brother sends him to Kissing Springs to hand deliver some paperwork to the new mayor, these two reunite, albeit under unfortunate circumstances.
Dillon’s 12 year old daughter, Opal, loves Meadow. And as Meadow & Dillon are thrown together more and more, they realize that their teenage desires weren’t too far off.
As Dillon works to help Meadow save the town & market it as a wedding destination location, they are thrown together over and over.
I loved watching Dillon try to prove that he’s worth it to Meadow & I loved watching Dillon strive on making Meadow’s vision & desires happen. Meadow had some walls that needed to come down, but Dillon was the perfect wrecking ball.
Matt Hayne & Meg Price both did an excellent job bringing these characters to life. As a southerner, true southern charm is hard to emulate, but these two did it in a way that didn’t make me cringe, haha.

Meadow, our heroine and mayor (and old flame of Dillon’s) will not however go down without a fight. She dreams of reviving the community spirit and bringing back their small town to its former glory.

OMG this book. I love the characters and the small town feel. This book is a very good start to the series. I'm becoming very fond of Zee Irwin books, she is an excellent writer. It took me a minute but I am really starting to like Matt Haynes a lot, Meg Price is new to me but I like her. I hope the rest of the books in this series stack up to this book.

I won a copy of this book from a Goodreads Giveaway and was very happy with it. Single Santa is a wonderful read that includes a second chance romance, fighting for family and a happy Christmas ending.

Does this Santa deserve a second chance?
If you are a lover of second chance, small town romance that is steamy then I highly recommend reading Dillon & Meadow's story. There were sparks between them in high-school but are those sparks still there when they run into each other in their hometown?
Meadow is they mayor of Kissing Springs with high hopes of love. Dillon is a struggling singer sent to his old hometown by his brother to deliver bad news to the mayor.

Good story!
Loved seeing Dillon and Meadow get their second chance at romance and love, and getting a glimpse of small town coming back to life.
