Growing up in 90’s Brooklyn, NY, Treasure Malian’s passion for writing began at a young age. Inspired by her environment, she was able to capture the beauty and pain of growing up in that era, through her lens. A passion that while initially was only a spark, ignited into a full-blown flame after her tenure at Lincoln University and St. Francis College, where she studied undergrad, with the intent on becoming a lawyer.
The inability to escape the gnawing desire to write led her to write and publish her first #1 Bestselling Series “Power Trip” Over twenty novels later, Treasure is still capturing the experiences and emotions that come with the complexities of black love in her stories. Now equipped with a master’s degree, she continues to pursue elevation in her career and beyond.
To her, writing serves a greater purpose than just being a career or outlet for creativity, instead it enables her to make a meaningful impact and create an unforgettable bond with her readers.
OMG that ending was everything can't wait for part 2. Tristan is going DOWN and I knew all alone that Kyle was the detective for some reason. The way Omere came back from the dead was priceless, oh and I can't stand Reagan
All that I can say is WOW! Chastity had the most selfish parents that I have ever encountered in a book. They were all about self. I wanted to reach into my kindle and just slap both of them. A forced marriage could never be a happy one. I'm so glad that Chastity decided that she wanted to be with Omere. This was a great storyline, and that ending has me wanting the next installment asap.
This book was most definitely a great read. If I didn’t have other duties to do I would have never played this book down. It most definitely was a page turner. This is the book for you if you like drama and excitement and love and romance and backstabbers and liars and cheaters. This book would make a great soap opera. I would most definitely recommend reading this book to the readers.
Wow did that just happen OMG I got to move on the part two I can't even give you a valid review right now because this was off the chain well is valid because Yokoyama is reduced that got me twisted this is the notion know how to put together a detailed out freaking standing I have to move on the part two
This was close to being a dead on for "Power" and had me less and less interested in reading it. There was a few twist from the show's storyline but that did little to help feeling like it was a rip-off. The ending was just enough to move on to book two so I’m hoping the author can get it together and get some originality in the writing.
This was my first read by this author and it was fun to read. From the drama, to the plots and jaw drops, this book didn't disappoint. The ending had me ready to cry, but I just know OG not going out like that lol..
From the very beginning of this twisted love story I was drawn in. You could feel the sizzle between Chastity and Omere upon them reconnecting after so many years. It was as if they were predestined to belong to one another. The situation that Chastity found herself in with Kyle was a burden that as a parent I would never place on a child of mine. Because of their want and love of materialistic things they drove a wedge of discord between their two children causing events to unfold that would forever cripple their familial ties. Omere was a man's man in every sense of the word. His whole being was geared to make Chastity happy and to see to her well-being physically and emotionally. I loved that she had enough respect for herself to not want to start a physical relationship with Omere no matter how high the anticipation and temptation, they both wanted their love to remain pure and not start off with a taint from the past. From the introduction of Chloe her whole vibe SCREAMED snake to me. Her behavior was not surprising to me however I still felt a fair amount of empathy for her simply because of the set of unfortunate circumstances that she was placed in due to her parents selfishness. I can not wait to read pt. 2. I know that Ms. Treasure Malian will keep us completely intrigued when the next segment of this saga continues!!! GREAT JOB!!!!
TREASURE MALIAN YOU BROUGHT THE HEAT GIRL!!!! OMG! I don't know where to start without giving the book away but this a MUST READ and OMERE is definitely BAE!!!! I love him and Chasity together!!! I don't think Chloe is a bad person but that Kyle... Smh!!! I hope he gets what he deserves... As for Tristian, let's just say been jealous just gets you nowhere. I would love to see John with a boo and he's real secretive.... I LOVE THIS STORYLINE and I need part two like ASAP bc the ending had me like WTF!!!
When I say my pen sisters make me want to finish their books in a day, I mean it. This was my first read by Treasure and it was well-written, suspenseful and unique. Even with Thug in the title, the book gave it a whole new meaning. Loved it!!
This book was good. Glad Chastity and Omere got together. Tristan needs to get what's coming to him. Kyle the FBI agent. Didn't see that the cliffhanger was a shocker. Can't wait to read pt-.
Omg..I was not expecting the way the book ended and I cant wait until part two comes out. Family is crazy as shit and friends aint shit either. but all in all its a juicy book and part two needs to hurry hurry up!!
This was a good book, a little confusing at 're the end, where Omere supposedly is alive and well and not dead. Like how the hell is that even possible when he was by himself and had like 5 guns pointed at him, like let's be real, whatever thou I fantastic to read book 2
This was better than I thought it would be. No, really really good! The twists and turns made sense, the storyline was exciting and there were no real grammatical errors. You did that Hun. Can't wait to get into part 2
This book was everything. Minus a few grammar errors, I really enjoyed this book. Omere and charity. Luke and chole. And that ending. Whew!!! Can't wait til part 2.
This book was an okay read. It was really slow and didn't pick up until the end of the book. Hopefully book 2 will be a little more fast paced and have a lot more action.
this book was like re-living the episodes of STARZ series POWER. LOVED this book and second book is even juicier. Quick read, could not put down this book.
