Totally hated the so called hero
He was a selfish jerk. And he just really pissed me off. He leaves her pregnant and takes off and she can't find him. Shows up ten years later crying about his beautiful dead fiancee Lara and that just disgusted me. Oh I never stopped thinking about you, but Lara, and maybe I'd have a chance with you again , but Lara I miss you and I let you down, just hit me wrong v somebody is sabotaging everything she has and setting fires and when its resolved, he says bye and just takes off again. He did turn around and ended up saving her, but omg I couldn't save Lara, but now I am really leaving. It just was not good. I have a bad taste in my brain now!

But, as if it wasn’t hard enough running the ranch with only a couple of ranch hands, now someone is out to hurt her. And if that wasn’t enough, the man who had disappeared on her ten years ago shows up. How much worse can it get?
Josh Bryant had an article to write, so he decided to come to an area where he knew someone. A girl he’d dated in college talked about Wolf Creek. It would be the perfect place to get information. As he tried to figure out how to get close to her, an accident landed him in her bunkhouse. Perfect.
Old hurts blend with the new trouble. Not to mention Claire, Tessa’s mom, is getting worse with her Alzheimer’s. I was sad about the end of this series. I enjoyed the stories; they all have endearing characters.

Whew! This book will take you for a ride, wondering how many more hits Tessa can take before she loses it all! Thankfully, Josh is there to help relieve the load a bit.
My favorite part of the book:

Conspiracy or Accidents
I have really enjoyed stories by this author that involved intrigue and romance. A crusty, ruthless single mother made lots of enemies that came back to haunt her daughters. Tessa and Josh got reacquainted after a breakup in college. Now she runs the family ranch and he is a photojournalist. One last assignment brings them back together again and just in the nick of time.

Texas's past has shown up in her college sweetheart, Josh. Trouble is happening but with Josh's help the culprits are arrested. Josh finds out when he and Tessa broke up she found out she was pregnant but no one could find him. Tessa went through the baby's birth and death in a day and hated everyone and everything for years. She and Josh are together again, the past behind them. Great story.

June 20, 2025I highly recommend this book. It is full of twists and turns. I had a hard time putting it down. I.wondered how much Tessa could take before she gave up and lost everything. She realized that she has to lean on God to get through which is a good message for all of us.I loved all the books in this series by Roxanne Rustland. You can be sure I will be searching for and reading more of her books. She is such a good author

Enjoying the series
I appreciate being able to read a well written, clean story. A Christian element is there in a natural portrayal rather than the reader being preached to. The story gets your attention from the beginning and holds it to the end. It is well edited with lots of action, mystery and danger wrapped up in a second chance at love.

Collateral Danger to say the least
He was in town to write an article about the ranchers. He never imagined that he would end up being saved by an old girlfriend. He shows up in town and she is NOT HAPPY about it!! Then he wrecks his motorcycle and would have died if not for her. Then things really get going crazy at the range.

Wyoming Courage Book 3
The third book in this series was just as wonderful as the first 2 books. For the final McAlister sister, life has been full of difficulties for a while, and they just keep on growing more troublesome. Can a love from the past help her heal? Nice stories, nice mysteries, very good reads.

I’ve tried to start ebooks from other authors lately, but give up on them to look for another Roxanne Rustand book. COLLATERAL DANGER Book 3 didn’t disappoint! If you are searching for good clean reading, with a great story and a little love laced in, you’ve got to give this author a try👍

Finishing the series. Plenty of ups and downs for Tessa with ongoing issues with Clare's Alzheimer's and historical mistreatment of people in the town. It seems the daughters are constantly dealing with the fallout. Lots of similarities with the previous 2 books. Clean Christian romance with a mystery twist.

This was another great book in this series and can't wait to read the next book in this series. I am so glad that I discovered Roxanne Rustand, because she is a wonderful Christian author.

Another winner
Another book hard to put down. A very old broken relationship that left a lot of scars. A lot of danger for one party and a bad accident for the other! Very well wditten.

haunting past
Who knew how long a person can hold grudge including Tessa. Healing can come from share our most vulnerable self to the people that hurt us. The joy of that healing is because God was there to help. Great book.

A great wrap up to the Wyoming Danger series. Tessa and Josh reconnect and secrets are revealed, danger lurks, and there is a delightful HEA ending. I love Roxanne Rustand's writing, the characters are well developed and the mystery is intriguing and interesting. Loved it!

A Very Riveting Book!!
This book was filled with mystery, deep rooted secrets, romance, murder, deception and forgiveness and rebuilding of faith. A great book with a great story line. The characters are like old friends that you can’t help but getting attached to.
