I was born in Kentucky, spent 12 wonderful years overseas in Germany, several years in Texas and then settled down just outside of Tampa, Florida. I'm a proud Army brat of my dad, a retired Sgt. Major and my dog-obsessed mom. I'm an avid reader of Romance novels and Karma is my first published romance book with the sequel Fate coming out Nov 12th both of which only took me ten years off and on to finish.

I met Christi at my 21st birthday party and haven’t stopped annoying her since. Our collaboration for Karma and Fate grew from many years of writing fanfiction for a Vin Diesel Fan Club after the original Fast and the Furious movie came out in 2001.

When I'm not writing, I work full-time for an Organ Procurement Organization screening potential donors for possible organ, tissue, and eye donation which I find very fulfilling. I enjoy staying in bed reading or sleeping all day and spending time with my husband, beautiful son, and daughter, my two dogs, and two cats.

Micah and Rowan are best friends turned sisters who have been on the run from a traumatic past. They have finally settled down in LA with Micah’s sister Laini who is in the dark of what they are running from. Caden and Declan are brothers who move in a couple houses down the street who have an instant connection to Micah and Rowan. Their past may be coming back to to bite them, should they stay out or keep running?

Couldn’t put down this book! I need to know what happens next. Check it out (and check trigger warnings). Impatiently waiting for part 2!

Ladies, what a fantastic story! Hard to believe this is your first book. Karma checked all the boxes of modern day craziness with families, friends and those in life who want to hurt you. I can’t wait to read Fate, and find out what happens to this special group of friends. Great job, Kennington and Roth!!!!

Awesome book!!! Some mystery, some intrigue, some romance. This books covers it all. The characters are enjoyable and unpredictable. I loved them all. The plot is excellent and leaves the reader wanting more. Is Karma fate or bad luck? Read the book and decide for yourself!!! A must read. The new authors have a tremendous future ahead and hopefully many more books to come. Don’t miss this one!!!!

I received this book as part of a GoodReads giveaway. It came signed by the authors and with a bookmark (such a nice touch!)

The cover imagine made me think this book was going to be primarily a romance/sexy story - it wasn’t! I found the first part of the book focused heavily on car descriptions and introducing quite a few characters. It was hard for me to get into. After reading a bit about the authors and knowing what their interests are, it was clear where the inspiration had come from!

I would say the last third of the book finally grabbed my attention and I wish more of the book had been written that way. Perhaps the next one will be great from start to finish! I just felt like this one was “just okay.”

It read sort of like a fast and furious adventure… except there was a lot going on with the plot. Felt like the focus was a little split with the romance, and the drama of being in hiding, and all the car information, etc.

I think simplifying the plot a little bit would have made for a better read overall!

I will likely still read book 2 as I had mentioned the last bit of this book finally had my attention!
