Literally nothing happens. Characters are as shallow as they come in manhva terms... Cute art style but not enough for me to continue on with the series 🤷🏻♀️

I LOVE THEM TO THE MAX! I might come back again for its special episodes, nonetheless this main story is more than good enough for me!
Like father, like son. When they love, they truly love & are willing to do anything for their loved ones. Find a man like Evan, yalls.
Since the beginning, I pitied Evan bcs I felt like Laria was only manipulating him but then I remember every single thing Laria did for Evan & his family even when she hadn’t realised yet she genuinely loved them, and I came to like her. Yes, Laria isnt the most genius & brilliant of all, but she’s a cunning person so ppl shd really beware of her 😂

Season 1: ( Chapters 1~38)
Storyline: After losing her parents, Laria Losstree is saddled with a mountain of bills. Enter the archvillain, Duke Icardes, who agrees to pay off her debt, but only if she’ll marry his son, Evan.
Everything would be fine though (if only I didn't know how this story ends!!) After I woke up in Laria's sick body I knew I had to do everything to plan my eventual escape. Because it seems that Duke Icardes chose the ill Laria because she was going to eventually pass away. But I won't die in this lifetime! While my new husband is cool and distant, that’s okay, since I plan to secretly stash his money, then bounce!
But when the duke starts acting suspiciously nice her, Laria begins to wonder if he's on to her plan, and a battle of wits between archvillain and daughter-in-law begins!
