This book on nouns is wonderful for many reasons-- not only does it broaden the description of nouns to include person, place, animal, or thing, but it also includes descriptions of abstract and proper nouns. The book's colorful pictures and fun rhyme scheme will lend to engagement from students. I have and will use this book in the future to support student understanding of nouns.

I thought this book was cleverly written to be an education tool without my children even knowing. Learning aspects that were taught were rhyming as well as nouns and not just any nouns abstract as well as proper. I am adding this to my "To Buy" list.

From house and hippo to Anne and Brad this book will teach you all about nouns and even whether or not they are proper. It uses the definition and characters to build a lovable story that will teach students of all ages what qualifies as a noun.

This book is fantastic and deserves all the praise. The characters are so cute and the story is crazy and fun while staying completely on topic the entire time. Plus, since that topic is to teach all about nouns how can you even begin to complain.

This book would be an amazing addition to any classroom because no matter the subject you will have to talk about nouns. In order to write, in order to read, whatever the occasion nouns are important to know all about.

We really enjoy the books by this author. He makes learning fun, and this is a silly and humorous rhyming book about nouns. His books really entertain children while teaching them basic concepts. Our girls really like them, although they are starting to consider them a bit too young. The illustrations are cartoony and cute, too - we love the cats.

We've read all of the books in the Words are CATegorical series that we can get at our local library and we've really enjoyed them. We will certainly look for more books by Brian P. Cleary as they are published or added to the collection.

I love the way the book uses nouns. It uses lots of repitition. It has great illustrationss and is a very basic book that is easy to understand. It contains lots of noun usage and rhyming. The book goes into heavy detail about person, place, or thing, and gives many great examples. I like how it goes into detail about hte types of nouns as well.
