Lia Faraday is tired of secrets and lies. Why would the witches in her hometown keep her in the dark about witchcraft? Why is she surrounded by elderly widows who want to claim her? Who’s trying to kill Gillian and what happened to Trevony? Sometimes you have to stop asking questions and start demanding answers. Especially when ignorance can leave you dead.

SO many plot twists! I know I can't keep track of all the factions and versions of the truth. In many ways it's a satisfying paranormal world, I just don't like the prevalence of nasty people.
Despite so many enemies dying in the prior book, still plenty of new ones, and ones who may be friends or enemies to deal with. Interesting tale with tales within tales to sort through.
