I honestly ended up enjoying this one more than I thought I would.
It pulled me in really quickly and had that dark, addictive vibe that makes you want to keep reading just to see what happens next. I really liked the mix of crime, paranormal mystery, and romance because it kept things interesting the whole time.
The angel part of the story was also way more intense and unexpected than I thought it would be, which made the world feel even cooler. And the chemistry between the characters definitely kept things entertaining too.
I do think there were a few moments where I wanted a little more depth, especially in some parts of the story, but overall I still had a really fun time reading it.
By the end, I was fully into the world and honestly wouldn’t mind reading more from these characters.
