What Happened In Vegas…

My entire life, I’ve been too sensitive. Loud noises and strong smells could set off a panic attack quicker than the idea of public speaking. I helped run the family matchmaking business, Cosmic Bonds, from the shadows. I longed for the magic of a whirlwind romance, the surety that my pack would see me for who I was. Reality hadn’t been so kind, and my last pack decided I was too much.

Tired of living in the shadows, I allowed myself to explore my deepest fantasies on solo trip to Vegas. Colton, a sexy cowboy alpha and his nerdy beta bondmate Quinn, along with Dante Trent, my celebrity-crush illusionist would have made an odd pack, but we all agreed it would just be a hot weekend fling, no strings attached.

It didn’t matter that Quinn understood my need for quiet, Colton smelled like a safe harbor, and my celebrity crush on Dante was starting to feel all too real. It was just one weekend. None of us were interested in being a pack.

…Should have Stayed in Vegas

Two months later, I couldn’t deny it anymore. I was pregnant, out of heat, something that only happened point one percent of all omega pregnancies. Overjoyed and worried, my family assures me they’ll help me. But my hormones and more importantly, my heart, crave my men.

It was supposed to be a fling, nothing more. But the longer I spend with my fantasy pack, the more I want to make it a reality. But how can I trust anything my hormones, or my heart, says, especially when I was so wrong before?

* * *

Welcome to Cosmic Bonds where your perfect pack is just a tarot reading away!

Cosmic Luna is a contemporary sweet omegaverse. It’s part of series of standalone that can be enjoyed on it's own, but you'll notice favorite characters making appearances throughout the series.

*This novel contains MM, surprise pregnancy, nerdy betas, sexy cowboy alphas, and many references to junk food. The author is not responsible for the increase to your waistline or libido.

It started out so strong but I can't give it more than a 2.5star review. For one thing the fmc annoyed me with how she acted. She was just so selfish. I don't give a crap how her past was causing her to act in the present like I get that she was self conscious and worried but time and time again the guys showed her they cared, but even with her child's life at risk she was being a little stubborn witch. Just no. On top of that she's the pov we get the most and she's the worst with the way she didn't care about anybodies feelings but her own. Idk I just started skipping pages when I wasn't seeing the growth i wanted to I'm literally 84% in and no change in her attitude. So I'm rating it a 2.5 star. Also I kinda felt like the author threw in a m/m relationship just to be like some other omegaverse books. It took a back seat and that kinda made it feel ick like it was a gimmick or that it wasn't as important in the relationship as a whole. Idk if I'm explaining this well but that's just how I felt.

I didn't love it. There wasn't anything that grabbed my attention or had me excited to turn the page to find out what happens next. It just fell flat. I felt like nothing really happened throughout the book and what did happen we didn't really get too many details. Things were mentioned but skipped over

It was an OK read but didn't WOW and I didn't love it

So happy for luna!

I am really enjoying this story set! Its so sweet with enough reality problems to feel relatable. Its as if this place and these people are actually existing in the world I live in. I hope there are more to come!

It wasn't necessarily bad, but there was something missing. There wasn't really any big climax... There also was nowhere near enough groveling in my opinion. Dante literally accuses Luna of making up lies for money and then makes it up to her by... spending a bunch of money on her? It kind of seemed like he took advantage of the fact that her hormones were making her desperate to have him in her life.

There were also a lot of time jumps where a lot of things were told instead of shown. Most of those things being how the characters relationship developed. Which just made the romantic aspect fall flat.

Luna ends up taking a trip to Vegas by herself. Not a usual thing to happen since her heightened sense make is difficult to deal with crowds. But she is determined to go and see an illusionist performance by the famous Dante. Her seating ends up being next to a sweet Beta, Quinn who ends up having a lot of the same interests as Luna and makes her feel comfortable. Once the performance has ended he invites her backstage with his Alpha, Colton. Attraction runs wild, and when they meet Dante face to face the attraction only seems to grow. Deciding to take a chance and listen to her family she has a wild weekend with the bunch. However, a few weeks after getting home she realizes that impossible happened. She is pregnant despite the wild weekend happening out of her heat. They all decided that weekend they just wanted a fling, all of them agreed, no packs. Even if it seemed like each them had second thoughts in the end they didn't end up exchanging any information. Pregnant, unbonded, and suffering through a high risk pregnancy Luna is lucky for her long time alpha crush Halos admits his feelings and is determined to take care of her and make her his, even if she is pregnant with someone else's baby. It doesn't matter because she is pack. As time goes on, having Halos be there helps with her health but she needs more, and the fathers need to know that she is pregnant with their child. Even if it was a fling and they don't want anything to do with her or the baby they still deserve to know.

I’ve been anticipating this book ever since I finished Stella’s.

First off, let me get the negatives out of the way. There were quite a few spelling/grammar mistakes, and . Additionally, I would have preferred more of the guys’ pov.

As for positives: I was invested in Luna getting her HEA! The guys were all great, but Quinn and Halos were my favorites—Quinn was so unerringly earnest and it was adorable; and Halos was such a teddy bear (don’t get me started on the sweatshirts).

I’m looking forward to reading Sunshine’s book when it’s released!

i have mixed feelings about this one. i wish there were a little more of it, more depth between the characters, more depth to everyone’s individual personalities. but generally, i had a good time reading this! this is a really sweet book, relatively low angst even though there’s a particular character that causes our fmc a bit of heartache in the beginning.

the only other thing that really got on my nerves was the fmc’s whole deal about bonding. she’s very afraid of it and doesn’t want to (for reasons that come from trauma and are understandable) but by the end of the book, she’s said the same thing so many times that i was kinda just like “either do it or don’t but stop whining about it.”

which might just be a me thing and might be unfairly callous, but it just got to a point that was extremely repetitive and frustrating because she’s moping around sad that she’s not bonded, the guys are practically begging to bond her, she’s still telling them no, and then she’s still sad that it’s not happening.

but aside from that, the way these characters love each other is really sweet, even if it’s kind of an insta-love thing.

Luna is in Vegas and after meeting 3 hot men (Colton, Quinn, and Dante) that she is drawn to, she decides to have a hot and spicy weekend fling. When she gets home, she finds out she is pregnant, which should be impossible since she wasn’t in heat. Her omega nature makes it a high-risk pregnancy since she doesn’t have a pack and is unbonded. Thankfully, she has her crush, Halos, around. I liked all the guys, but I loved Quinn and Halos. Luna does have a lot of insecurities based on her past experiences with pack. I liked seeing her push herself and that they talked about those concerns. The story has a lot of spice. Cosmic Bonds appears to be a series of stand-alones in a shared world. I have t read the other book, but i will definitely be adding it to my TBR list :)

Luna goes to Vegas for a floral show and watches an illusionist (Dante) and ends up sitting next to Quinn, who is a beta bonded to alpha Colton. They hit it off and he invites her to use his back stage passes where she meets Colton as well. Together they talk with Dante and the 4 of them end up in a wild weekend.

Back home, Halos is an alpha she has known for years and the two of them have liked each other but haven't had the courage to say anything. When she comes home from Vegas, her life is turned upside down.

I loved this second book in the Cosmic Bonds series and I hope Mira plans on adding more!

sweet and a little angsty

This was a pretty adorable book. A little bit of angst before the sweet stuff.

I love how she unintentionally builds her ideal pack. I especially love her plant man he is so ridiculously adorable.

Looking forwards to more of the sisters finding their packs!

Luna deserves all the happy endings

Sweet Luna. The one time she let herself go to enjoy things and relax it turns into more. I was so glad with how things came together. The guys were so wonderfully supportive. Though I do have to say reading this made me crave homemade spaghetti. Loving this series though.

great omega story

I loved this story. There were definitely some twists and turns. Each member of the group had their own identity and I loved seeing them come together. I look forward to the next in the series.

Okay read, many things were skipped in the storyline. The characters individually are amazing, together are good too. The intimacy scenes weren't the best but my imagination was so it kinda worked out, kinda I skipped

Eh.. it was fine. There wasn’t really conflict or anything. Kinda insta love. Nothing really stood out apart from luna being a little whiny bitch about the future ALL THE TIME. Like shut up and quit complaining. Okay that’s all.

I would have given this book five stars if not for her insistence to not bond the pack even to the detriment of her baby. I get it you want to be sure it’s not about the baby hormones but it’s selfish as heck when it endangers your unborn child….

This is another one of those stories that leave you uncertain of your feelings. It was good, but not awesome sauce. It could just be my mood. I am not sorry I read Luna's story.

3.5 stars. I really enjoyed seeing Luna build her pack but I wanted the bonding to take place earlier so we could see them strengthen their relationships prior to the baby.
