If you love Insidious, the Conjuring, or Sinister, Dark is right up your alleyArinna seems to be trapped in a world full of darkness. While trying to escape her past, and the terrible thing she’s done, she finds herself looking the dark in the face time after time.
Dean tried to teach Arinna about the darkness, about the marks that call to the dead, but she can’t seem to understand how these symbols keep finding her. Someone, or something, wants to get to her, and it’s becoming clear, they’ll stop at nothing until they do.
She is faced with the realization of who she really is, what Dean turned her into; all the while trying to find a way out. Is she losing her mind, just like she thought Dean was? Or is she really trapped with a psychopath
If you love horror and stories about what's on the other side of the dark, this book is for you
I almost gave up on the book because of the ridiculous amount of chapters and the slight feelings of redundancy, but I’m glad I pushed through. Definitely a book that will spook you and leaving you wanting to know what comes next.
